Brilliant. Jack's art carry's you with it. You join the journey. The lines get sketched, the beat gets drawn and the poetry lyrics point in you in a direction. Then you walk the path.

Look bud. I 100% understand where you're coming from. The White Stripes are and always will be my all time favorite band. There's something truly special about what they accomplished, and nothing will ever ever take take that away. I agree that his new sound isn't really as good. It's not for me (or for you obviously), but the man put in all the time and effort he could with the very strict rules he set for himself in The White Stripes. He spent a decade in a minimalist box and I think he just got to the point where he out grew that box. Think about the song Little Room and you'll know what I'm talking about. I feel like lifelong fans of his owe it to him to let him be happy doing something new. We may not enjoy the results anywhere close to as much as we did The White Stripes, but we should be happy that he is happy doing what he loves. That's the least we can do to repay him for the gift that was The White Stripes.

On all his solo stuff really, at least this not as bad boarding house, but I feel like there's no song in there. I'm all for experimenting but you have to have a song there as well. Anyone with a tiny bit of music talent and a studio could do this, there's no melody, lyrics mean nothing, it's just weird sounds. Strawberry Fields and tomorrow never knows weren't done to just be different
