As a normal human born in the 80s I can honestly say your copy and paste “pub banter” is slightly cringy and absolutely on point for a gen z snowflake.
I watched a kid making gold chain just like that on a street corner in Pleiku Vietnam in 1967. He was using a blow pipe to do the welding. I would have liked to buy some of the chain, but he had no english and I had no vietnamese language.
bro you have zero knowledge the pure gold is 24k but isn't hard and ideal after melting, it often used in edible gold so, that's why all big industries/companies add some copper or silver alloys to make it 22k which was the best for jewellery, kindly have some knowledge otherwise you will be useless!
I lost my bracelet a year ago this week. I had been wearing it for over 20 years as a mechanic too. My little girl begged me to take her to a haunted house and I did. She got scared and stripped it off my arm at some point. That was an expensive trip to the haunted house.
It’s awesome watching the whole process with mostly basic tools

Get the "jump-ringer" tool. Saves a ton of time making rings. Comes with lots of different diameter mandrels.

as an old chinese hermit practicing 1000 years of shaolin i can confirm he nailed it
Brings back memories of my jewelry making class in college. Oh what fun that was. And expensive. But, so rewarding..

Классная работа! 👍
Beautiful work. I love that clasp. I've never seen one like that before.
❤👍
At 22 K I don't think anyone will be seeing much of it. I would have made the clasp out of 10K
I have a necklace with a similar clasp.
That's actually cool asf
Такого качества работы и я, сделаю! 😅
Satisfaction on its peak 😮
It looks so dull in color until its polished up, neat how a little grinding down, and polishing can change how reflective almost anything is so easily
Wow ive never seen a box clasp actually used before. They were such a pain to learn to make and now i see the whole thing. Reminds me of 20 years ago
Beautiful craftsmanship! 👏

If im gona spend $9.1k on jewellery id rather the purity be 24k
I think 24k is too soft to wear? Im not sure
@@noluck161 it is i know because i lost a ring due to it being too soft
Gold is highly malleable . 24 k gold is very hard to work with and changes shape easily(by wear tear etc)
@@noluck161
yep, It's so soft you can pull it apart with your fingers. That's why they bond it with another metal to give it the strength.
It’s soft you can chew on it 😂
Price ? Mai purchase karoonga
How much would the raw gold piece at the start cost?
based on the beeping in the background i assume it would take an average person in that area about 5 lifetimes to afford that
It took about a good minute but ya the beep beep the Indians make buzzing around on the motorbikes. Beep beep !!! LOL

Is this the regular process for making something like this or is it like an artisanal thing?
Why does it look dented and has nicks on the gold surface, is this a certain style? Like a vintage look? It didn’t look smooth and shiny
