The Beauty (and Brutality) of Bernstein
I don’t like dr seuss the person for many reasons. But I am extremely thankful his books and authors who wrote like him, like shel silverstein. They made reading possible and enjoyable for me as a kid since I had a learning disability and struggled with reading
This was worse than I though
0:55 Better than "born *as a result* of a one-night-stand," I suppose.
This man was gifted. Not many people would have the imagination nor the guts to do what he did. Every trade has its geniuses, and he was the one who made the movie industry great. Now a days we have pathetic excuses for actors who aren’t even good enough to be mentioned in the same sentence as this great artist.
We still Love you Buster...:)
Im cummin!
On the surface, House is an awful show. A brilliant Dr. that is kind of an asshole to everyone. But Hugh Laurie single-handily carries that role, it would be so easy to mess it up. I'm not saying he's the only one who could do it, but he is the only one that did it. Although I bet Christoph Waltz would nail it also, frankly It'd be a pretty funny SNL skit having him do a Dr. House.
"Even Jane could think of that". The message here is that Jane might not be very smart. However, if the person reading this already beliefs all women aren't very smart, they are going to read that and not what is actually written. There are men in China and eating with sticks is more common there than here. This isn't racism, the critics are trying to whitewash their culture
he was a genius and paved the way for all the modern films that followed.
This is a very well produced summary of Rand's ideas, but the title is a bit misleading.
@4:26 the US Navy had FUBAR = "Fouled" up beyond all recognition 🤣🤣
whats the piano tune called at 0:23?
Boring, stupid, worthless, no entertainment value whatsoever. AVOID!!
Well I knew he did some controversial stuff but I had no clue about this
Lionel Richie used the rotating room stunt in the music video for Dancing on the Ceiling in 1986.
The Mr. Beast level thumbnail lol
The falling house wasn't Keaton's idea but Roscoe Arbuckle's idea. The gag can seen for the first time in Arbuckle's "Backstage" in 1919, with a piece of set looking like a house falling on Arbuckle. Keaton, a close friend of his, had a supporting role in the film. Granted, Keaton is the one who made the gag famous by building up on it, but let's give credit where credit is due. Arbuckle is also the one who convinced Keaton to make movies, back when it was still considered somewhat shameful for an established stage actor.
A true legend and an inspiration to generations to come. May we never forget this amazing pioneer and amazing man ❤
RFK jr. Time traveler.

that woman king reason is BS, a woman can only be a queen by definition, look it up.
Can only imagine what Buster would think of Hollywood these days
As a boy in the mid-60s UK, I was introduced to Keaton, Chaplin, and more obscure players of the silent era through brit comic/actor Bob Monkhouse who was a devoted champion and curator of the silent comedy greats and whose 'Mad Movies' tv show was a compelling and informative introduction to the genre.
Excellent. informative.👋
bravo , one good one who simply tells the truth...... that's freedom of speech and that's it, you can express your opinion about anyone, somehow it passes, but not about Jews, you can't insult them, it only shows how envious Jews are, the same thing happened with Kanye West
Is this why Myth Buster's crash test dummy is called "Buster"?
Downvoted because of misleading bullshit title. A stunt NEVER ended his career, he just aged out of being the genius stunt master that he was.
McAdams ❤
There is nothing wrong with this shit.
I genuinely wasn't sure what was in those books that made them ban-worthy, but I assumed it wasn't anything egregiously offensive, more "in bad taste" than anything, and that's what they seem like to me. The stereotypes and jokes are far from the worst I've ever seen and some of them were probably well-intentioned at the time, but given the choice between having an impressionable child see them and take them at face value and just not letting them see it, I'd say the latter is the most practical choice. Besides, the man wrote sixty books in his lifetime, I don't think it would be a great loss to "only" have access to 54 of them (and let's be honest: nearly all of them are better anyway). But I guess "not being reprinted any more because they have a couple of off-colored jokes in them that are now considered to be inappropriate for children" is not as catchy or succinct as "banned."
If I ran the zoo is quite important, it invented the word Nerd.
Ah, so you finally uncovered the cult that has been framing the Jewish people for 1000+ years in Europe from which has spread to all corners of the world. This is the blood libel that led to the persecution of the Jewish people, the holocaust and oct 7th to name a few. And they are still doing it? wow.
excuse me but hugh laurie was a huge celebrity well before house its just that americans have no sense of humour and didn't know british comedy exists
MAESTRO ! 👏
A lot of those initial works that you talked about being recently banned didn't necessarily have anything wrong with them, and for some of the ones that did, they seemed to have focused on the wrong thing. And for some of them, they also seemed to have shoved implications in that weren't actually there. For example, in that first book, And To Think That I Saw It On Mulberry Street, the boy says "Even Jane could think of that". Like you said, critics of the book seem to believe that this carries an implication that girls are less creative than boys, but it's important to think about the way it was written. He didn't say "Even a girl could think of that". He specifically referred to his sister Jane, which instead implies that his sister in particular is less creative (Que the R/F----YouInParticular references). When he says a "Chinaman", sure he could have just said Chinese Man, but chopsticks are a piece of Chinese culture and to censor a book because of that would be to point at the wrong thing. I think the issue is that they've colored him yellow, and you don't need to read between any lines to see a problem with that. But luckily, that's a fixable issue, by tracing the work and not coloring in the character's skin. In McElligot's pool, I'm not going to dispute that many of the depictions of fish could be considered racist caricatures of different races, but I'd like to point out that the Australian fish should not be considered one of them because it's literally a kangaroo-fish hybrid. I am not going to dispute anything past that point in the video though because it becomes inherently racist really quickly and you're right to call it out.
Mmmmh easy a was definitely not a first for her tho.
4:54 low taper fade
Social Security is NOT welfare. It is a mandatory retirement plan which She was required to pay into. If she didn't receive payments, she would be ripped off by the government.
People are too sensitive.

Denzel and Gibson when they were made right
the censored word at 6:20 is japs
Jim Carrey did a good job but I thought Nicolas Cage looks a lot closer to Andy Kauffman and just as awkward. I wish Nicolas Cage played that role.
Awesome story!
Bravesoul
This really didn’t explain anything. Very misleading from the catchy title. The information was disjointed and was mostly random clips of his acting career with few clips of interviews that didn’t provide much context to the theme of the title.
I lived two years of his life.
I absolutely love that everyone here is ripping into her and advocating for her books to be burned. I wonder what they think about queer theory books being burned or the communist manifesto or feminist books or mein kampf😂
May my fellow Kansasian who was an Icon RIP
Jews are responsible for all the wars..man u r way way before ahead of time....beautiful now d wotld knows that for sure
Jim Carrey may have shown nuance in his auditions, but he didn't really show it in the film.
