So... Metal Gear Solid 5 didn't give me what I wanted. Instead it gave me something I didn't even know I wanted. Spoilers to follow.Doublethink. The best cassette tape in the game. +Nick Austin All this time you were playing as a random medic working for Big Boss, while the real Big Boss builds the legitimate Outer Heaven. There you go, no need for a spoiler review.
+Lydia Cebreros It's a fucking awesome game :D I know I loved it. I literally sat down and finished my first playthrough in one sitting. I just couldn't stop playing and finding out what happens next or what my actions/choices made :3
I was gonna say the same thing. I really think he should. Especially since it's borderline a game and a movie. I'd love to know what he thinks of it and as a movie and game fan, I'm curious as to what he thinks of those types of games in general
RwYeAsNt Wll he def enjoyed Wolf Among Us and Walking Dead, so it would be fair to think he'd find some enjoyment from more of the interactive/choice games :3
Glenn Davis I think the reason people are so hyped is because the trailer has Kojima's style written all over it. I, as a Metal Gear player plan to buy Death Stranding, because us Metal Gear fans don't really have anywhere else to go. (unless you count a shitty zombie game which I am not) So that's why I'm excited for it.
THANK YOU JEREMY! @ 3:00 I really wish (especially being what is most likely his last MG title) that Hideo Kojima stuck with the movie themed metal gear. Dont get me wrong this title is definitely on my list of favorites but it just "feels" like the story suffered a bit from the lack of cut scenes that the previous MGS titles made me fall in love with
Chapter 2 really killed the game for me because it is so obviously incomplete. When you're hurting for content so bad that you force players to replay missions to artificially extend the length of your incomplete game you have a serious problem. You know what would of been awesome? Allowing players to reply ANY mission and choose what difficulty modifiers they want and I think that's what they were going to do but they ran out of time. In fact, there are no harder difficulties to replay missions on at all outside of the ones that you're forced to replay. They basically tried to cover up how incomplete the game is by scrapping together an incomplete feature and using it in a limited and controlled environment. There are only SIX original missions to play in chapter 2, everything else is a rehash.
+Dragonbrad Man, seriously, i wished they delayed the game or something. I wouldn't have cared if we had to wait a few more months. Just to get Mission 51 and Chapter 3 into the game, but bloody Konami.......
+Cross Shield Let's face it, they are going to die out eventually. Unless they DLC the hell out of Metal Gear, which, to be honest, pisses me off. DLC is a cancer that should have been wiped out from the face of the Earth a long time ago. Only CD Projekt Red seems to know what DLC is supposed to be.
Cross Shield True. At least they can tell the difference between a DLC(small, useless gear at higher levels) and an expansion(a paid DL/DVD game that adds more hours into gameplay)
To think this masterpiece is only HALF of what Kojima intended..... I hope he buys the rights someday and finishes it. Like Chico was gonna come back, we were gonna see Eli become Liquid Snake, the change from Mother Base to Outer Heaven and ultimately the villainization of Venom Snake
The (tiny) problem that I have with the game is it doesn't have many real MGS moments in it. I don't know how I can explain it, but it's one of those moments where it hits you in the feels and at the same time blow your minds, like the scene with sniper wolf, raiden conversation with the colonel, snake's microwave scene, the revelation at the end of MGS3, and many more. This game has only one of those signature moments and is with quiet. Other than that the other scenes are still great, but doesn't have that iconic metal gear stamp in it.
+Adriel Andriawan What about the part where Spoilers You have to kill your own soldiers as they are begging you to stop, only to have the last group of soldiers salute you as you gun them down? That seems like it would fulfill the requirement.
+stinkmeaner19 I accidentally found out about the mission since I bought the game guide and went to the wrong page, so I assigned all of my elite and legendary ranked staff to the combat unit and dispatched them on storage shed sabotage ops, etc just before I started that mission.
I'm playing this game right now...sweet lamb of Moses this game is fucking AWESOME!! it feels likes looks, and plays just like it was created this year💯
Jeremy in regards to what you said around 3:17-3:20, about big boss not saying as much as he has in previous games. There is actually an interview with Hideo Kojima that states the reason for that, basically he said that he wanted this game to show Big Boss's emotions through tone of voice and facial expressions instead of how in the previous games due to the lack of motion capture they did not have that so he basically had to say what he was feeling so it was understood instead of it showing it through his facial expression. The interview is somewhere on youtube about it.
Dude, I've been following your Twitter feed seeing you give commentary on how crazy and long this game was, so seeing your review out is damn satisfying
This game was really pissing me off for the first 20 or so hours. I'll admit, I play Metal Gear for the story, and I'm not a huge fan of open world games. What was irritating me was that nothing happens for the longest time in the beginning and Skull Face was such an uninteresting character.....and Big Boss barely said a word. I don't understand the sudden quietness of Big Boss. I was really looking forward to hearing Keifer's take on the character but most cutscenes have Big Boss standing awkwardly to the side saying nothing. I'm getting deeper into it and I'm starting to forgive it. Some interesting stuff is happening and the gameplay is very entertaining (although I am sick of all the waiting like calling in helicopters and deployment).
5:29 Personally I prefer those hand-crafter rooms as opposed to 4 dudes hanging around the same tent, watchtower and some sandbags over and over and over. The open world is fun at first, but then after you've ran up and down the map a few times and infiltrated the same outpost for the fourth time you realize there's not much variety. I think instead of open world they should've done the sandbox thing and given us 10 levels ala Ground Zeroes. It's what Hitman does and it works great.
Actually Phantom Pain probably has just as many cutscenes, if not more, than any other Metal Gear Solid game, with the obvious exception of 4. And if we include the cassette, you're probably looking at just as much story as was in Metal Gear Solid 4. The main difference and this is probably what makes people think otherwise, is Phantom Pain offers 90 hours of gameplay on top of all the cutscenes and tapes, which was never the case before. So yes, cutscenes versus gameplay, it's not a lot there, but in terms of raw numbers, you have just as many hours of cutscenes put together as the average Metal Gear Solid game.
+Roy Parker As TB put it it's "Open world game: Open world edition", basically just like any other open world game with Arkyum rhythm combat. The PC port is insane though.
A game doesn't have to be perfect to be a masterpiece because nothing in this world is perfect and perfection is boring because there is nothing to thrive for after it.
Ikr, I don't understand how this game is getting 10/10 from so many reviewers, I really like this game but saying it has a 10/10 would mean that it's perfect. If anything it's at least an 8/10.
A lot of people dont realize that Eli is liquid snake because ocelot said the DNA tests of him and boss were negative. But you arent actually big boss and that is why
+Stachy McSneeze I've played all MGS games dude. Been following the story almost for 15 years. So I can tell you with confidence, this is my favorite game...
I don't know why, but I fell in love with the story. Maybe it's because I am more a Big Boss fan than Solid's. But after life a million hours of gameplay I can say is my favorite in the franchise.
3:05 what do you think about the idea that Kojima intended the lack of cutscenes to be one of the many phantom pains throughout the game, such as Frank Jaeger's missing storyline, the missing conclusion with Eli, the full connection like you mention in your Phantom Pain Ending video where you play as Solid Snake and infiltrate Outer Heaven, or even build that on-land Outer Heaven yourself for Solid (you) to infiltrate. There was just so much potential, and the movement of the story into cassette tapes was a shame, but I think it was necessary for the full weight of the loss of something important to you
I've played all the MGS games so far DAY 1, and at the end of it all I have to say I think MGS3 Snake Eater was my favorite. I just like the characters, the codec convos, the bosses and dat into music. It was an overall fun game.
"We live and die by your orders, Boss!" Staff Member Died (Heroism -60) I think you should also discuss that, because holy shit that moment felt like Assassin's Creed Brotherhood's ending except worse.
Would I enjoy this if I've never played a metal gear game before?, I would buy the hd collection but I just desperately want to play this right now. And could anyone recommend any UA-cam videos that will fill me in on the story so far?
Same here JJ, the dog is the best! It's like giving you map hack, sure Quiet gives you more combat utility, but having more information make fights easy
Witcher 3 > MGSV > Bloodborne > Batman Arkham Knight All Great Games but that's how they stack for me so far this year. Can't wait for Fallout 4 also and how it'll stack up.
+JoeA024 fallout 4 to me looks like a normal rpg game, I don't see anything that makes it stand out. The world customization and those shots on specific body parts don't appeal to me but I haven't played any fallout games so there might be something abt it I don't understand.
Coming back here 8 years later. i still boot this game up when i have nothing else to play. Its quirky in all the right places. I catch a new mechanic in stealth or gameplay still every once in a while. The story was a little odd, until it started picking up and the pieces starting falling together. Kojima is such an amazing game director and story teller. This game had all the right pieces to tickle anyone's fancy.
I don't give a rat's ass about the story. The gameplay is what makes it a phenomenal game. It's annoying when a video game developer thinks they're Stanley Kubrick.
yeah, what the hell is up with the story in this game. I remember playing earlier MGS games and being just as confused, sometimes it's just downright silly and makes me cringe.
***** I should have been more specific. It's not the fact that they involve storyline. It's the long cut scenes that bother me. Bioshock Infinite proved you could have an interesting and engaging storyline and not rely on cut scenes. The story was developed mostly during gameplay. You never have to put down the controller and wait 25 minutes. If I want to sit and stare at a screen with no interaction at all, I'll watch a movie. I think it should be kept out of games.
Great review Metal Gear is probably one of the best franchise in video games Hideo Kojima is a genius. Great review Jeremy. Also I am still in shocked you have yet to reach 1 million subs. We need you to get there #GetJeremy1Million
im loving the Phantom pain but i got to admit.... the world seems really empty, no civilians?? come on, imagine a mission with hostages but still an amazing game just no way a 10/10
Believe it or not but he gave GTA V a "worth buying on sale price". If you ask me it stands as his worst review but I still like the guy. Because GTA V is incredible.
Jackman1st Just because the story is not as good as 4 still doesn't mean that it isn't incredible. If a game achieves a 97 on Metacritic then it is very well a damn incredible game.
See? Jeremy knows what's up!! I love how for the video and the thumbnail for this video he used the box art image that says "A Hideo Kojima Game" much love and respect to Kojima and Jeremy!!
Come on i loved Metal Gear Solid but i just though the Witcher 3 did it better, not to mention the fact it was CDReds first ever open world game, i clocked in 120+ hours and there is still more quests and so many free DLC's! And what can i say it was emotional as hell!
Coming from a hardcore fan of this series, its terrible, good gameplay bad game. This game was one word, filler. its not a legitimate mgs game. The story sucked the writing was laughable even for mgs , most of the time mgs was a cornfest (Which i dont mind usually) anyways but i at least enjoyed them and loved the story. all characters were forgetable the motives were laughable, except for skull face who wasnt fleshed out properly at all. the story was insignifigantly tiny compared to any mgs game, ANY. thats why i play these games. I beat the game and was deeply saddened that this is how my favorite franchise ended, not with a bang but a wimper.
Jeremy btw i think you might have your nostalgia glasses a bit to close to your face. we deserved a better game and just because we are big fans of the series doesnt mean we have to settle for an incomplete mess of a game. no disrespect ment
Honestly I think you may also have your nostalgia glasses on. The series has always had corny dialogue. This game ones up to it and it is most definitely intentionally that way.
Ryan Flood it still has never been this bad, 1-3 have had their moments of corniness but ultimately they were masterfully written scripts and stories. 4 and peacewalker showed heavy signs that those days were most likely coming to a close. they had less focus on weaving intricate plots together and epic or badass character development, in favor of over sexualization, further diving into completly over blown overdramatic and unrealistic action and catering to the people who were not originally fans of mgs complaining about what made mgs good in the first place. its not nostelgia that makes me have these opinions its writers intuition i can see when someone slowly stops careing about a once beloved project. i couild go on forever about the things i disliked about this game but ultimatly it comes down to this. The gameplay was very good even if they took alot out of it, but the story was corny overdramatic and had no backbone.
Missions were all the same The open world areas were super plain, empty and boring. Hated the lazy cassettes instead of cutscenes Story was not that strong Cut content and a whole chapter removed pissed me off BB spoke less than DD As a die-hard MGS fan this game was a huge disappointment The gameplay has never been better though.
Jesus fucking christ there is no chapter 3 you dumbfucks and the reason the game feels cut is bacause konami needed to cut down the budget because it was exceeding so much.
i just finished chapter one and loving it... game play is awesome , and am missing those long cut scenes too .. but still am gonna say its a master piece by Hideo Kojima !! truly awesometaculer !!

some cut scenes in TPP are some of the coolest shit I've ever seen in a video game.
Yo I know this is six years later but fuck yeah it does. Quiet and venom fending off a fighter jet was some next level shit!
In particular, Quiet's escape from captivity. That's some Hollywood-level choreo.

Please do a spoiler review!
+Nick Austin
The twist was intense o_O
+Kaz Kobb yes I posted the comment before I got up to the part where he said he would sorry!
+Nick Austin All this time you were playing as a random medic working for Big Boss, while the real Big Boss builds the legitimate Outer Heaven. There you go, no need for a spoiler review.
exactly spoiler review plzzzzzzzzzzzz also I've got 111 hours in this game still not bored always loved and still love Metal Gear
+Kaz Kobb The twist was dumb and ruins Big Bosses legacy
Jeremy should review Until Dawn. I just want to know what he thinks
+Lydia Cebreros It's a fucking awesome game :D I know I loved it. I literally sat down and finished my first playthrough in one sitting. I just couldn't stop playing and finding out what happens next or what my actions/choices made :3
+Lydia Cebreros agreed
I was gonna say the same thing. I really think he should. Especially since it's borderline a game and a movie. I'd love to know what he thinks of it and as a movie and game fan, I'm curious as to what he thinks of those types of games in general
RwYeAsNt
Wll he def enjoyed Wolf Among Us and Walking Dead, so it would be fair to think he'd find some enjoyment from more of the interactive/choice games :3
+Lydia Cebreros It's a really cool game, but I was disappointed when I found out it was just another zombie game.
Death Stranding hype train just passed! choo! choo!
I only saw the first trailer and to be honest its not grabbing me. I'll wait for reviews before I buy.
+Michael Biland good point. I'm really interested to see what the game is like. although I hope its not a generic action game.
Glenn Davis Kojima has confirmed it is an action game, but he says that It's gonna bring a new mechanic to the table.
+Michael Biland he said that about most of his stuff.
Great review Jeremy. I only started playing the Phantom pain yesterday and I am blown away by how stunning the world they have created looks.
THANK YOU JEREMY! @ 3:00 I really wish (especially being what is most likely his last MG title) that Hideo Kojima stuck with the movie themed metal gear. Dont get me wrong this title is definitely on my list of favorites but it just "feels" like the story suffered a bit from the lack of cut scenes that the previous MGS titles made me fall in love with
I've been waiting so long for this video. And Jeremy... you know why Snake didn't speak so much, right?
+ItBurnsWhen IP Because Keifer Sutherland is expensive?
+Jeremy Jahns that's exactly why
+Jeremy Jahns i still would perfer David Hayter because he will always be snake.
+Jeremy Jahns well that's the real reason but the lore reason is because he has a giant piece of shrapnel in his brain
+jordzkie05 Finish the game and you will know why :P
+David Lance Escandor Speaking of CD Projekt Red, can't wait for hearts of stone.
Cross Shield True. At least they can tell the difference between a DLC(small, useless gear at higher levels) and an expansion(a paid DL/DVD game that adds more hours into gameplay)
Exactly!
one of the best games of the year if not the best
+193sora193 Witcher 3
+MrCyb999 lol no fallout 4 will win
+deathpresent101 ummm bo3?
+MrCyb999 the witcher 3 is overrated
+Humza Kamran ummm Halo 5
To think this masterpiece is only HALF of what Kojima intended..... I hope he buys the rights someday and finishes it.
Like Chico was gonna come back, we were gonna see Eli become Liquid Snake, the change from Mother Base to Outer Heaven and ultimately the villainization of Venom Snake
Never seen your Video Game Reviews, but you did a great job explaining this amazing game!! Great Job Bro!
Metal Gear Solid: The Phantom Menace (lol jk)
+RunRobotRun911 fits better unlike ep 1
To be fair, Metal Gear Solid has more to do with Star Wars than Phantom Menace.
+Adriel Andriawan yes i have the same feeling. the quiet story was great and sad..
+Adriel Andriawan What about the part where Spoilers
You have to kill your own soldiers as they are begging you to stop, only to have the last group of soldiers salute you as you gun them down? That seems like it would fulfill the requirement.
+DevilHunter1994 what made that even more emotional was when the idroid kept telling you that your staff members have died.
+Sierra Most of my S ranked soldiers were on the combat unit. but i still love my other comrades :(
+stinkmeaner19 I accidentally found out about the mission since I bought the game guide and went to the wrong page, so I assigned all of my elite and legendary ranked staff to the combat unit and dispatched them on storage shed sabotage ops, etc just before I started that mission.
Gameplay of this game is the new gold standard and it may be decades until we get something this cohesive and detailed.
Well, Elden Ring fulfilled that
I agree with you I'm not that far in the game but I do miss the cutscenes and codec conversations of the older game.
It’s not the real big boss lol
Its been 4 years and I'm also sick. Sick of this stupid whiny comment.
5:29
Personally I prefer those hand-crafter rooms as opposed to 4 dudes hanging around the same tent, watchtower and some sandbags over and over and over.
Thank you for all of your badass reviews and other related stuff! I just love that you review mostly movies and make exceptions for Metal Gear.
+Ebosan87 Good point...
I'm going to miss the Kojima ruse cruise...
YEAAAAH! WE MESSED THIS GAME UP GOOD DIDN'T WE?! =D
Konami no not really gameplay is good but chapter is not really done
45 minutes of cut scene sounds amazing
I just noticed the video games you reviewed this year are AWESOMETACULAR!!
review MAD MAX game!!
+Roy Parker its mediocre, i just reviewed it
(Coughing) TotalBiscuit
+Roy Parker As TB put it it's "Open world game: Open world edition", basically just like any other open world game with Arkyum rhythm combat.
The PC port is insane though.
deathwatch962 shut the fuck up man i already reviewed it
+deathwatch962 Made by the same company that made Just Cause 2, so no surprise there.
I missed the conventional MGS long beautifully done cutscenes missing in mgsv as well.
I wish they were there, that’s what I was expecting after hearing people talk about the other mgs games.
I love how many people are blind to this games faults, Jesus Christ it isnt perfect
+JoeA024 who said that it is perfect? no game is perfect, even my favorite mgs game (3) isnt perfect and i love it.
A game doesn't have to be perfect to be a masterpiece because nothing in this world is perfect and perfection is boring because there is nothing to thrive for after it.
Obviously as it is a continuation of a legacy that spans over 28 years.
+CleverCanary fucking preach. I also keep hearing the story aint that great either
Hideo Kojima went out styling!! The man is a creative genious and i cannot wait for his next game!!
I don't like it I love it
After this time I've been playing Metal Gear Solid V, I'm starting to regard it as my favorite MGS game...
That's what I thought....... Until I played metal gear solid 3 snake eater
+Stachy McSneeze I've played all MGS games dude. Been following the story almost for 15 years. So I can tell you with confidence, this is my favorite game...
+Tony Diaz ok then I don't disagree it is a great game, haters be damned
I don't know why, but I fell in love with the story. Maybe it's because I am more a Big Boss fan than Solid's.
But after life a million hours of gameplay I can say is my favorite in the franchise.
But you SPOILERS
Don't play as Big Boss, you play as Punished "Venom" Snake.
Jeremy we and that one other guy, M.S Service or whatever his name is, are still waiting for that Shaun the Sheep review.
Bring on the haters.
3:05
what do you think about the idea that Kojima intended the lack of cutscenes to be one of the many phantom pains throughout the game, such as Frank Jaeger's missing storyline, the missing conclusion with Eli, the full connection like you mention in your Phantom Pain Ending video where you play as Solid Snake and infiltrate Outer Heaven, or even build that on-land Outer Heaven yourself for Solid (you) to infiltrate. There was just so much potential, and the movement of the story into cassette tapes was a shame, but I think it was necessary for the full weight of the loss of something important to you
Jeremy Jahns' done. Now it's Chris Stuckmann turn. Can't wait. Thanks Jeremy for the Awesometacular review! Love MGS! 👊
I LOVE THIS DAMN GAME!!!! So much to do and incredibly detail. Konami are such idiots for letting Kojima go.
Thanks for the review :) My favorite Metal Gear game is MGS2: Sons of Liberty
Jeremy, review Tales from the Borderlands by Telltale.
Extremely well written game.
He normally reviews telltale games when they're finished, I don't think he plays them month to month
+Flurgle Burgle i still think that it's the best one so far tho. wolf among us is second for me.
+mix channel its not even finished. whats the point in asking now?
Except The Walking Dead Season 2 and Game of Thrones
I've been waiting for this review, knowing how much of an MGS fan you were! Thank you, sir!
I've played all the MGS games so far DAY 1, and at the end of it all I have to say I think MGS3 Snake Eater was my favorite. I just like the characters, the codec convos, the bosses and dat into music. It was an overall fun game.
Kept Us Waiting Huh ?
"We live and die by your orders, Boss!"
Staff Member Died (Heroism -60)
I think you should also discuss that, because holy shit that moment felt like Assassin's Creed Brotherhood's ending except worse.
Would I enjoy this if I've never played a metal gear game before?, I would buy the hd collection but I just desperately want to play this right now. And could anyone recommend any UA-cam videos that will fill me in on the story so far?
First of all, Jeremy, you're awesome. Second of all, where do I find the guitar sound from the intro?
Great review! Love your videos!
I was actually disappointed with mgs5 but it's still a good game tho
Where should I start in the series?
+Muhammad pope Snake Eater. Story's lacking in 5, but gameplay makes up for it ten fold.
Muhammad Pope I would say mgs 3,peace Walker and 5,this covers only the story of big boss.
I still prefer mgs1&4
The ending was perfect. Nuff said, no debate to be had.
Jeremy, there's a reason Big Boss didn't say as much in this game. KEEP PLAYING, THERE'S MORE STORY AFTER YOU BEAT IT!
Great review Jeremy, you summed it up perfectly! I loved the game as well.
I just discovered you and I freaking love your videos!
Wasn't the third chapter cut out so konami can fire Kojima faster, oh yea I almost forgot #fuckonami
No more games review J? It's been so long!
I'd really like a review of Bloodborne from you! ^__^
Bloodborne is GOTY tho
+cyrus tpb opinions, and fallout 4 hasnt released yet.
Great and comprehensive review once again, Jeremy! ;)
Same here JJ, the dog is the best! It's like giving you map hack, sure Quiet gives you more combat utility, but having more information make fights easy
MGS5 > Batman Arkham Knight
Fallout 4 > MGS5
+JoeA024 DOOM > Fallout 4.
Im talking about NOW games, those games you guys mentioned will undoubtedly be good, but they haven't been released yet...
Witcher 3 > MGSV > Bloodborne > Batman Arkham Knight
All Great Games but that's how they stack for me so far this year. Can't wait for Fallout 4 also and how it'll stack up.
+Colton Hernandez Witcher 3 GOTY so far.
GAME OF THE YEAR!!!
You spelled Fallout 4 wrong
+JoeA024 You spelled opinion wrong.
+JoeA024 or Witcher 3. cant say fallout ,cause it didnt come out yet
+JoeA024 Joke doesnr work because he never wrote The Phantom Pain
+JoeA024 fallout 4 to me looks like a normal rpg game, I don't see anything that makes it stand out. The world customization and those shots on specific body parts don't appeal to me but I haven't played any fallout games so there might be something abt it I don't understand.
WITCHER 3 IS DOPE
+slicer141 GOTY material.
Glitcher 3 has no chance against MGS
Jason Hao Here comes the salty fanboy.
+Pitchaya Cydonia Doesn't replying to him also make you salty. Just saying.
Witcher is shit, repetitive shit comat with no stealth
Coming back here 8 years later. i still boot this game up when i have nothing else to play. Its quirky in all the right places. I catch a new mechanic in stealth or gameplay still every once in a while. The story was a little odd, until it started picking up and the pieces starting falling together. Kojima is such an amazing game director and story teller. This game had all the right pieces to tickle anyone's fancy.
0:22 I saw that version of your intro in your Pixels review. Is that your new intro for video game related things?
I don't give a rat's ass about the story. The gameplay is what makes it a phenomenal game. It's annoying when a video game developer thinks they're Stanley Kubrick.
yeah, what the hell is up with the story in this game. I remember playing earlier MGS games and being just as confused, sometimes it's just downright silly and makes me cringe.
+MakerInMotion you sound like pc gamer
Mantas Šiupinys Console for life! Keyboard and mouse can suck it.
+MakerInMotion umm... ok
The ending IS terrible. Such an awful twist.
Yeah the swan song to the MGS Franchise is the first mission with an extra cutscene.
+RaginScottsman It makes sense weather you liked it or not it fixed a plothole
it's better than the raiden plot twist in mgs2
I liked chapter 1 hated chapter 2 so much I couldn't finish it
Iqbalx1 I always finish story-based games… I don't wanna waste my money on games I'll not complete.
I get that it is annoying, but it was honestly just like 12 replay missions.... it's not too much
You can skip them by playing side missions! Side missions unlock the final story chapters (marked in yellow).
I wrote that comment before playing the game... I see why you quit. I'm still gonna complete it though.
Great review Metal Gear is probably one of the best franchise in video games Hideo Kojima is a genius. Great review Jeremy.
Also I am still in shocked you have yet to reach 1 million subs. We need you to get there
#GetJeremy1Million
Can't wait for the review part 2! MGSV TPP is so good!
Seriously Jeremy, play Witcher 3. Just do it.
im loving the Phantom pain but i got to admit.... the world seems really empty, no civilians?? come on, imagine a mission with hostages but still an amazing game just no way a 10/10
has jeremy ever reviewed a game that wasnt awesometacular lol
Assassins creed 3
Believe it or not but he gave GTA V a "worth buying on sale price". If you ask me it stands as his worst review but I still like the guy. Because GTA V is incredible.
+Tyrion Lannister no it really isn't GTA online flopped and the story is inferior to the previous GTAs
Dead island
Jackman1st Just because the story is not as good as 4 still doesn't mean that it isn't incredible. If a game achieves a 97 on Metacritic then it is very well a damn incredible game.
Right there with you Jeremy, I love me some 40 minute cutscenes in my MGS!
See? Jeremy knows what's up!! I love how for the video and the thumbnail for this video he used the box art image that says "A Hideo Kojima Game" much love and respect to Kojima and Jeremy!!
Free on ps +
The gameplay was very good even if they took alot out of it, but the story was corny overdramatic and had no backbone.
great review
Liking that new font there Jeremy.
I hated the airport and that oil plant in Africa, those places gave me hell
no rules of nature 0/10
Ty Spikes , 😂 yes! He needs to review Metal Gear Rising Revengeance
Missions were all the same
The open world areas were super plain, empty and boring.
Hated the lazy cassettes instead of cutscenes
Story was not that strong
Cut content and a whole chapter removed pissed me off
BB spoke less than DD
As a die-hard MGS fan this game was a huge disappointment
The gameplay has never been better though.
+Txu Zai whose dd?
+EvilSCIENTIST the dog
Jesus fucking christ there is no chapter 3 you dumbfucks and the reason the game feels cut is bacause konami needed to cut down the budget because it was exceeding so much.
+RealmenteNoLoSe there was a chapter 3 but it was removed from the game.......learn before you speak you dumb fuck.
+Txu Zai It's barely a rumor man. Atleast pass me a link with kojima saying that chapter 3 was removed (protip: you can't)
i just finished chapter one and loving it... game play is awesome , and am missing those long cut scenes too .. but still am gonna say its a master piece by Hideo Kojima !! truly awesometaculer !!
great review as always !
