Walking forward gives you super meter. I know people don't like the footsies at the beginning but they both get a full bar, then things get a little more fun.

@@DepressedCrow It's a thing in games like Guilty Gear and Dragon Ball FighterZ because it motivates both players to be aggressive in neutral. A few YOMI Hustle games I had against a wizard I focused on getting as much meter as possible, I would just walk forward and block until I had enough meter to do a crazy combo, and he could never get a hit in.
I would kill for some commentary and step by step analysis... its actually still hard to follow for me 😭
Got caught in one of these 100 cuts to the wall once, got damn lucky and managed to escape by being launched upwards

Wow, a lot of these games ended because of bad bursts. Why are people trying to burst 1k slash combos? In general I noticed people refusing to burst early in a lot of these games for some reason. That’s something I’ll take note of.
How do you feel about wall splat?
Bursting early is scary because it's obvious and about 1k cuts combos - people just didn't know how to DI against it so those are just bursts of desperation lol
Wall splats are cool and very useful for all characters
@@eluxdrio Idk, I actually find that bursting early is less obvious than a slight delay which is what I’ve seen most. And yeah fair lol.

Most of the time I try a fakeout using dashes but end up get the wrong spacing for the counter I wanted to do once it's successful. I could only eject my opponent with no combos man :(

high level cowboy combos scare me, half because of how they can remove half your health in one mistake, and half because once you get the hang of it, it can be easily done yourself (once you're used to making the reads to set up anyway)
1:05 is just straight up cruelty lmao, although if they kept letting you combo the damage scaling would have likely given them a better opportunity to get out of it

Makes me quickdraw instantly after it preventing getting framekilled
@@eluxdrio whats frame killed ? like its just faster to use HS toggle quickdraw so you or you have more options? Also thanks for replying its awesome to hear from you
@@morganphillips57 it actually makes it slower
so if quickdraw into shoot is 14f and they use a 13f move you will have to shoot and they will be able to REACT to it after you locked in and get a free parry, so people do it on purpose. Whiffing into qd is longer so it doesn't get framekilled

I been struggling to fight the wizard. Can someone explain how the orbs works
during any move u can move the orb. it constantly shoots projectiles automatically. at any time u can tp to orb with 1 frame damaging attack, but it removes orb
@@matthewbadger8685 thats insane. But sometimes i dont see the orb attacking. Does it only attack when you do?
@@poplil3934 Not sure. Usually I leave it in the background and it attacks without me needing to worry about it, but I do admit that I never check if my attacks are what produce the projectiles.
I do know that certain moves trigger unique abilities though, for example the lighting move causes the orb to shoot lightning below it, which is very good for combos and attacking whilst they're prone.
@@poplil3934 The orb does not attack automatically. It casts spells of its own with a slight delay after you cast spells.
Kick, lightning -> lightning
Icicle, conjure weapon -> swords
Grab and a couple others -> nothing
Most others -> pellet
The orb can be used to absorb projectiles, as a mobility option (via tether and portal), an offensive tool, as a getaway option...
It constantly consumes super-meter while active.
Personally I like to use it from afar: chasing the opponent with swords and pellets while staying out of danger and teleporting to make a combo if I can hit them.

@@eluxdrio my man, i dont even know anything about this game other than its fastpaced carnage and made for sweating. Even when its commonly used if feels like the pizzahead phase 2 theme from pizza tower.
@@ze_glitchy_gamer7629 oh, it's actually turn based and you can play it casually. There are lots of mods too. You should try it out, it's free for now before the steam release
