Nope. There is a 30% chance for a bullet to not ricochet on terrain hit thus doing absolute nill, plus you take a massive hit to your damage AND accuracy. This oc erases more than half of your total damage while also crippling your accuracy.
I do feel like it’s a bit much. Maybe if it was less severe in one of its downsides it wouldn’t be as bad, but even though it’s fun it’s cons outweigh its pros
@@dog9302 Aye, it really should have a 100% activation rate. Raising the RoF wouldn't negate the ammo efficiency downside, but it would offer you more burst damage and horde clear to compensate. Right now you're giving up damage output AND efficiency, which is...not great.
@@dog9302 I think it would still be outperformed by stock if that was the only change. It's a hard OC to balance, since buffing its damage can very easily make it much too strong - hence why I think a RoF upgrade would give it more of its own niche as a big bursty gun with poor ammo sustain.
@@ianjohnson3770 I disagree, both the total damage and DPS being only half of the listed values is broken. And if the devs wanted it to be that way, that just makes it worse in my opinion because it's intentional misleading - why use the other weapons if the minigun and Zhukovs are "twice as good"?
Honestly, with how much ammo that thing eats this isnt even that op. It deletes whatever you aim it at sure, but it also depletes your entire ammo pool in the process
for those hating the bullet hell overclock because it's bad, it actually isnt, it's just made for very big swarms, theres a guy on youtube that plays hazard 6 mod, and the only minigun build he can manage a mission with at that difficulty is bullet hell, the reason for that is because when you're constantly surrounded by huge swarms of chunky bugs, bullet hell really shines by hitting all of them even behind you, and stunning them (with t3 stun mod), giving you time to reach overheat and blow everything around you with aggressive venting (the t5 mod). if you're playing in a team it's not as good because you wont get too many bugs surrounding you and the other dwarves will kill them before you can vent anyway, but in solo it's really good on high difficulties if you know how to play it. for multiplayer you can take hot bullets instead in t5 and you get a solid utility weapon that can stun big swarms for a long time so you don't have to kite too much and accidentally jump from a cliff that's behind you, it's quite comfy, just take a big single target gun as your secondary and you're good. TL DR: the OC numbers look bad but the utility is really great with stun, and at very high difficulty in solo it's the best minigun OC with t5 aggressive venting and t3 stun

I want to apologize to Bullet Hell for underestimating it. One of first overclocks I've gotten, thought it sucks due to bad accuracy. Although I use one for revolver. I have to try it out now and become the aimbot gunner.
ok so I tried it with an autoclicker, not a full on macro (I'm not sure if that would make a difference) and I wasn't able to get the same results even when testing it at 10 milliseconds, which obviously should have been 100 clicks per second, but was actually like 50 in reality, so i'm not sure what's happening there. What macro do you use?
i wanted to see what would happen doing this with a rapid fire controller on console. they results are nowhere near similar. but while using 32322 i am able to fire the gun without it ever overheating during a swarm
@@lucachacha71 I just checked and it still works, i would try lowering the cps to around 40-65, framerate also has a effect on it but its never made it not work for me, only output less dps.

just found out you can cancel fall damage by picking up your c4 before you land not sure if it works for proxy mines

The bug appears to be patched tryed to reproduce it (200cps) and the barrel just barely started turning
Try spinning the gun up normally first then hit the macro
