    Thank you for the information. I'm a hairdresser for 10 years in Turkey and i have a 230ft² salon. I haven't a rent. Property belongs to my family. I opened in January 2018. Its so new :) . And I spent to 20.000 TL. It was around $ 5000 at the time. Our country is experiencing economic problems after 2002... the consequences of economic problems are getting harder. In 2002 one dollar was 1.25 tl and now 6.00 tl. Everything we use like hair dye, shampoo, foils, etc is imported. learning about the status of my colleagues in other countries is very important to make comparisons on behalf of my country. Thank you again and wish you success :)

      Melodi merhaba! Eğitimin olarak mı bu işe başladın? Yoksa tamamen farklı bir sektörden mi girdin? Türklerden bu konuda bilgi videosu çeken kimse olmadığından merak ettim.

    • @MelodyPleiades
      @MelodyPleiades 4 роки тому

      @@merve650 ben kız meslek lisesi kuaförlük mezunuyum. Lise boyunca kuaförde çırak ve kalfa olarak çalıştım. 2010 da mezun olup ünv. Sınavına girdim. İstediğim gazi ünv saç bakımı ve güzellik hiz. öğretmenliği bölümünü okumaktı ama o seneden sonra öğrenci almadılar. 2 yıllık okumak istemedim çünkü öğretmen olmayacaktım 4 yıllığını okumadan... 2 yıllık mezunu sözleşmeli öğretmenlerimiz vardı ama düşük maaş alıyorlar 4 yıllık okumadan olmuyor. İşyeri açmayı başta istemedim birde bölüm kapatılınca soğudum. İşletme okudum yaşlı bakımı okudum açıköğretimenden. Sonra salon açmaya karar verdim. 2.5 yıl salonumu işlettim. Git gide çevrem oldu ama kalfa olmaya benzemiyor salon sahibi olmak. Çok stresli heleki böyle Bi dönemde. 8 ay önce annem kanser teşhisi konuldu. İşyeri mi kapatmak durumunda kaldım. Aile ile ilgili sıkıntımız oldu. Annemle ilgileniyorum şimdilik. Böyle Bi macera oldu. Yapılmayacak iş değil ama tek başına çok zor. Birde tecrübe lazım ben 3 4 sene kuaför yanında çalışmıştım ama yaşım ufaktı. Eğitimini de almış olsan meselelere yetişkin gözüyle hakim olmadıktan sonra o çalıştığım senelerin pek Bi faydası olduğunu düşünmüyorum. Ben birlikte eğitim aldığım insanlardan örnek vereyim sana. Biz sınıfta 20 kişiydik. Hepimiz mezun olduk ustalık belgesi aldık ama içimizden sadece ben dahil 3 kişi salon açtı ve sektöre girdi. Diğer arkadaşların hepsi ya ev hanımı oldu yada bambaşka işler yapıyorlar. Sektörde çoğunluğu sonradan bu işe girenler oluşturuyor. Okadar çok ki... İşyeri açmak için ustalık belgemi kiralamak isteyen okadar kişi odu ki. Zaten sıkıntı burda sektörde ciddi anlamda kaliteli Bi eğitim almış insan yok. Ben lisede aldım o bile çok yararsızdı. Doğru düzgün çevrilmiş hiç Bi kaynak yok... Bi ara halk eğitime başvurdum usta öğretici olarak. Bir sürü içerik hazırladım slaytlar videolar ayarladım yabancı eğitim videoları buldum. Çizim yaptım... Bizim mesleki çizim dersimiz vardı. Yetkin biri bunları yapabilmeli ha benim babam da teknoloji tasarım öğretmeni ondan imkanım çoktu bilgisayarda slayt olsun bilmem ne yapabildim ama sonuçta okul bunun için var ve çocuklara bu yetkinlik kazandırılmalı. Ama kimse benim yetkinliğime bakıyor mu yok.... Kendi açmak istediğim kursa gittim kayıt yaptırdım. Benden fazla ne yapabiliyor diye benim yerime aldıkları hoca. Hiç birşey... Haftada bir kısır partisi bilmem ne... Ülke böyle oldukça hiç bir sektörde başarıyı elde edemezsin ki... Annem kanser hastası ışın tedavisi alıyor. Bekleme salonunda bekliyoruz hemşirenin biri diğerine ben hemşire olduğum için tanıdık yaptı annemin ameliyatını. Çok uğraştılar başkası olsa hiç uğraşmazlardı diye kanser hastalarının ortasında anlatabiliyor.... Sonra neden sağlık çalışanlarına şiddet yapılıyor hak istiyoruz diye konuşuyorlar.... Ben de soruyorum böyle zihniyete sahip birisi nasıl hemşire olabiliyor????? Bu ülkede olmaması gereken insanlar çok fazla şeye sahip çok.

    • @merve650
      @merve650 4 роки тому

      Melodi's Dolls geçmiş olsun öncelikle. Umarım sağlığına kavuşur annen. Bilgilendirmen için de çok teşekkür ederim. Okul konusunda bilgim kesinlikle yok ama bir yerde eğitim konusunda büyük bir sıkıntı olduğuna eminim. Ben 1-2 sene öncesine kadar hayatı boyunca sadece mahalle arası dediğimiz kuaförlere gitmiş bir olarak gözlemlerimi söyleyeyim ve neden bunu sorduğumu... benim gittiğim tüm kuaförlerdekiler işini kendi açıp bu işin okulunu açmış kişilerdi. Ben bu kişilerin başka kuaförde başlayıp, kalfalık ve portföyünü tamamlayıp kendi dükkanlarını açmasını da izledim. Ha şöyle bir şey var, onların hizmet verdiği çoğunluğu annemiz olan kesim çok da şikayetçi olmazdı, önüne ne verilirse kabul ederdi... lakin hepsi aşırı geri kalmış, çağ dışı modaları uygulamaya çalışıyorlardı. 2011 yılında gittiğim bir kuaförde ebru gündeş yay kaşını bana yapmayı uygun gören, birkaç sene öncesine kadar hala aslan yelesi saç kesmeye çalışan, hala inatla seyrek ve yağlı saçı katlı kesimin daha çok gösterdiğine inanan kuaförler var. Kuaför iç mekan tasarımları zaten hala fecaat. Lüks değilse bir kuaförün iç tasarımının güzel olma ihtimali koca bir sıfır. Oysa bu diğer ülkelerde bir norm haline gelmiş. Avmdeki sözde mid-end kuaförler leğenle pedikür suyunu önünüze getirmeyi normal gibi algılıyor. Kendini geliştirmek sıfır. Zaten internette kuaför nasıl açılır diye şöyle bir araştırınca hep aynı yorum, masrafı az, ben 20.000sermayeyle açtım. Evet belli odayı boyamış mutfak dolabının altındaki leğenle ikinci fön makineni kapmış gelmişsin diye düşünüyor insan. Neyseki sosyal medya sayesinde yeni nesil bir tık yabancılara hakim ama onlar da henüz kendi işinin başına geçecek yaşlarda olmadığından ve sektörü şuanlık hala orta yaşlı, büyük oranda kendini geliştirmeye kapalı o kesim domine ettiğinden adım attığınızda kaliteli bir kuaföre girme ihtimali girmeme ihtimalinden daha düşük. Yani diyeceğim şu, ben hep tam tersi örneklerle karşılaştım. Bu işte alaylı olmuş-okulunu okumuşlar hep mekanını açanlardı ve hepsi çok demodeydi. Fiyata değinmişsin önceki yazında, belki ondan ama hala mahalle kuaförlerinde leş fondotenler, pislikten turunculaşmış fırçalar duruyor. Temizlik de mi parayla diye düşünüyorum... Şuan gittiğim kuaförüm de bir avm kuaförü, çalışanları genel olarak epey iyi ona sözüm yok açıkçası, ancak iç tasarım berbat, fiyatlar yüksek(avm olduğu için laf edemiyorum). Böyle yerleri görünce insan girdiği yerde huzur buluyordur diyorum. Kesinlikle türkiyede kar etmek için en azından başta sahibinin de çalışması gerekli siye düşünüyorum. Ancak asıl sektörün ihtiyacı olan şey acilen estetiğin ve çağın gereklerinin mahalle arasındaki kuaförlerde de bir norm haline gelmesi.

      Jamie Dana what a blessing! Do you mind giving a rang for how much one should save for a renovation similar to yours?
      See you at ISSE btw🤗 I got excited when I saw your name on one of the classes!

    Hey, thank you for the info. I’m in my 5th month of cosmetology, and my goal is to open a salon after graduation. Can you give me some advice please!

    Thanks so much for making this video. So many people just make these videos to brag about themselves and how successful they are but never give details. One thing, did you get a loan? How did you fund the renovation? Really helpful!

      I mentioned this in the video, but we saved up for this ourselves. Thanks for watching!

    I have a question! So did you take a loan to “buy” the space? Or are you just renting the building? I was wondering how you can do remodeling with only being a renter or renting a space. I’m new to all of this, but want to open my own salon upon graduating!

    • @SuperSweetflowers
      @SuperSweetflowers 3 роки тому

      She is renting. Most of times the landlord does allows you to remodel the space to your needs. Otherwise they would not be able to rent out the space.

      she rents the storefront with a NNN lease - those are often 5 years long or more, include the rent fee + a portion of property tax, building maintenance, CAM if you are in a shopping center. Mandatory insurance etc

      Doesn’t state board come in when you first open a salon to make sure everything is correct?
      I’m opening a salon soon.. currently looking at locations. I’ve been doing on location makeup for the last 6 years but will be adding waxing once I have an location. Right now I just travel all around my town!
      I’m just figuring out everything I have to do as far as licensing/ state board / permits etc!
      Thanks for your time to write me back! You’re an inspiration!

    When you say your place how did you get the building owner to hold the place for you? If that makes sense...When you knew that’s what you wanted what was your next step with the leasing company

    NNN leases require much longer rent contract than a suite. As long as 10 years depending on your location

    Im currently in this process I should be opening this month ! By any chance how much is your electricity bill on average? Im afraid it will be alot I’m located in California as well , the salon is connected to two other businesses and i was told by an electrician to be ware because it might be a shared meter and they might want me to pay for everyone when i put the electricity bill on my name , thanks in advance!
