Very beautiful bike. I would prefer that main gauge as a tachometer and the speed displayed as digital number though. Also, why does my PCX has keyless start and not this even as an option? I never thought it was so convenient and now I don't wanna go back.
Very VERY keen to throw my leg over and test ride when they land down here. I can definitely see this as my 2nd bike. Will just depend on how much they end up costing here in AUD.
@@Anant.Bhatia.Antz_Bin I doubt. Western motorcycle markets arent as price sensitive as Indian markets so theyll charge the triumph premium price unless they want to take on the classic 350. but I doubt they will be able to do so as the western market sees the classic 350 as an enthusiasts bike so I dont think a person who is looking for a classic 350 will go for this bike. I am definitely expecting it to be priced higher than what it is in India.
@@fieryspy6414 Seems that I was right. The trend continues. Both Speed ($4995) and Scrambler ($5595) are priced lower than the 2023 Duke 390 ($5799) in the US. The 2024 Duke is more expensive by ~$200 in India. Expect a similar price hike there as well.
I meed triumph to make a pure flat long seat and then i can buy this bike. This bike would be PERFECT if it just had a long 100% pure flat and long seat, this way a taller wider can sit back past the normal seats rise point that keeps you squished forward. Think BMW CE-04 Pro seat.
I wish we knew how tall the woman standing behind the bike is to get a better sense of the size. I'm afraid of preordering sight unseen and then it arrives looking like cb300r.
Need better rear tyre hugger.. rest is beautiful I think they will disclose prices together for scrambler and speed 400 for Europe and North America in Oct
I am owning Speed 400 for almost a Month, and yes you are right, rear tyre hugger is required as it is collecting lot of slush and dirt and throwing directly towards rear monoshock. Sometimes it takes almost 1 hour to clean that area. I am already looking for a aftermarket Fender extention so that dirt cannot go deep into the swingarm
Cons Chain is located next to Exhaust which is prone to heating and pushes exhaust little bit away from the bike. Chain should have placed on the other side which is ideally empty space.
Hi Team, I am from India. I purchased speed 400 2 month back. I am very satisfied with the bike. But recently I am facing one issue with the ignition,,like:- suppose i need to take a turn,, bike speed 50km/h gear 6… so i use the clutch nd down shift the gear but suddenly my bike ignition gt off at 5 or 3 or 2 or 1 gear… I have visited the service center to rectify the issue.. they were trying there level best but they are not able to recognise the issue…. Requesting to help me on this team…. I ride my bike 80% time on high way nd its a high risk
Just sold my 700 lb motorcycle, no more porkers, not kidding, now a nice lightweight bike, maybe, when are you shipping the new 400 over here to the United States?

Why is the most expensive place to buy this bike Britain? I understand there cheaper in India as that's where there made but why are they cheaper in the US than GB?!?
Someone might want have a look at the Owner of Triumph South Africa, the Triumph brand in South Africa if the owner did not double the price of motorcycles, in comparison to what one can buy it for in other countries. For instance, the speed 400 sells in India for R51 0000.00 bit in South Africa, the speed 400 is more expensive than the KTM Duke 390. This clearly shows that Triumph South Africa is synonymous with its countries government. Greed corruption and over inflation of goods in comparison to other countries.

Would be great if you made a motorcycle for people 5 foot 5 and under, like a 27 inch seat height,... not a smaller engine. A 27 inch seat height speed twin 900 would be a perfect beginner bike.
Because it's a huge ordeal to lower a motorcycle especially for beginners who don't know what they are doing. Lowering a bike is not for beginners or majority of the population, so they would have to find a place to do it, and it will be expensive and take time out of the day to do it. If the seat height is too low for tall riders, well, they can easily get a thicker seat, cheap, fast fix. It's really not rocket science. Plus, if a company really wants beat Honda rebel 500 sales, they would make bike with a 27.2 inch seat, with a 650cc engine, weighs 420lbs with 69 horsepower (for the memes, free advertisement), and the company sells custom parts to make the bike whatever the rider wants, bobber kit, scrambler kit, adv kit. Rode over 2500 kilometers on this till now. Absolutely amazing.
How does it handle highway speeds ? 60-70 mph.
@arberdemiri Upto 130 kmph it's really good, engine doesn't stress out. After 130 kmph there's a lot of wind blast and you've to duck down.
