It’s somewhat sick to imagine that Berit has to struggle keeping the sheep in the heather landscape as heather landscapes were created by sheep grazing. In many other European countries shepherds are paid to move with their sheep flock through heather and maintain it.

It's amazing to see how nature can be so healing to many. I really hope that, as a society, we can move away from the highly-profitable and degrading factory farming, and come back to healing places such as these, where humans and animals benefit in a deeper way. Thank you for sharing this story, the editing and videography is simply stunning and the storytelling is very cohesive and easy to watch--I very much enjoyed this♥
