Saw him at the old Panther Hall 1973? His sister opened for him and a heckler pissed her off. Great show. I have this album. Which it and Gary Stewart’s is best honky tonk albums ever.

Imo his country music gets overshadowed by his progressing of rock. But his country music is brilliant. His voice was made to do proper country music. His artistry on the keys dumbfounded his contemporaries, Liberace believed there was a second piano and player offstage supporting him, he couldn’t believe Jerry Lee could play That fast AND sing, simultaneously.

Some years back before this last turn of the century me and another best TX friend and retired trucker was settin' outside on his back porch playin' and singin' along, as sunset was comin' on in the high plains with some of our country favorites and when "Another Place, Another Time" rode-up on use we had teary-eyed cheeks as we finished. How do you explain that for two hairy-legged huggin' honeys who've pretty much seen and done it all.
Never seen this album.These are Definitely the Top tunes as far as I’m concerned.He’s my biggest vocal influence. Got to meet him after a show @ Billy Bob’s back in the late 80’s. Really cool.Went to his place in Ferriday in 93’.
