According to Morgan turners video if u bought that same shade in the mini palette u would pay like $9.76 a shade with more product. So essentially ur paying more than double for less product. That's basically the same thing Mac did with Patrick's powder.

I really appreciate all the hard work you put into each video!
I just wound up depoting mine a few days ago and did not have any issues with them breaking! I set my flat iron to about 340°, placed a piece of wax paper on it, and then sat the eyeshadow on it for about five minutes or so to loosen the adhesive. After that I was able to take my depoting spatula and stick it in between the pan and the edge of the plastic case and wedge it out without much difficulty at all!
I think I will never buy these unless they have a particular color that I've been looking for everywhere and couldn't find except amongst them.

You should do a video on your 5 go to eyeshadow looks using whatever you use. Not necessarily from just one pallet either. I would love to see this! :)

Paris Day Teutsch exactly, getting very big for their britches, it’s getting out of hand .
They are all greedy but that pricing for individual is not at all a new thing. Estée Lauder’s singles are $27 and Lancôme are $22 (and not any where near the quality). Tom Ford’s are $36 and very inconsistent quality!
Ugh! Probably cost $1 to make. 😏
i do think these are overpriced but with even UD and MAc just over 20$ for a single in a "special" finish, i guess the price is on par? damn it, I want the ones I can't get in her regular pallets.

If these were her special shades we wouldnt think twice about the price but her ordinary shimmers are already accessible in the smaller palettes...I don't know what she was thinking with this?! Thanks as always for a thorough and fair review xx

All the shades are gorgeous and your eye looks are stunning! But I'm passing on all of them. $25 is way to high for what you're getting. I could see $18 or maybe even $20 but not $25. The price kind of irks me and puts me off. Thanks for showing these.
Gurl, I don’t know how I missed this!!! I could absolutely cry 😭! I’m blaming it on being stuck at work 24/7 during GWP! I saw an ad for the 1st time last night and got so excited! I immediately went to the Sephora website and was devastated to see them sold out! I can’t decide which look I like better. I am going to try to recreate the purple look with my Norvina palette. You actually helped me feel better at the end of the video, where are you summed up the price. Pretty outrageous, actually!!! Those metallics though...pretty tempting!

These intense colours match so amazingly well even though the tones are so different!!! Love your eye make up and your beautiful eyelashes!!!
You can put stick-on magnet strips on the bottom of the individual eyeshadows and place them in a deep palette, which might fit if you remove the cover - or place them intact on a stainless steel plate/board.
Synthetica and Lapis Luxury!! 💙💜 I can’t see a good close up of the edges (or what the back looks like), but is the shadow itself still in a traditional metal pan Mel? If the shadow is in a pan and glued to the plastic case, then I would probably opt for the dental floss technique of removing it (Kiki G, the owner of Salt New York has a depotting tutorial on how to do it for anyone who doesn’t know). I personally don’t use alcohol with the dental floss technique, but if the glue is strong/stubborn, then the alcohol does help loosen the glue and help protect the shadow from cracking. Let us know if you have any luck depotting them! 🙂

Hi Mel. Georgia Harris has a video about how to depot the Pat McGrath 6 pan pallets. I actually did that to mine this week and put them all together so I use them more. While the packaging is very pretty it drove me bananas. Ain’t nobody got time to fold the flaps correctly and put the little string around the thingy. 😂. Anyway, I successfully depotted mine; only had a near heart failure once (1st time depotting anything). I’m sure you could use same technique on these singles.

Hi Mel! I found out through Beautylish that they did change the formulation on the Natasha denona contour/bronzer. If you look in the description it states "new formulation". So now I'm on the fence about buying it. By the way, did I hear that you have 4 children?! You're amazing! You're beautiful, super talented and HONEST! You're my favorite influencer. I have every one of her palettes except Decadence, so I'm really debating on these. I want Rose Venus and Synthetica, maybe Statuesque for a nice transition shade, but I can't see myself spending $75 for 3 shades. They should be $18-$20 each, and maybe$15 if you buy multiples(and you get to choose which ones you bundle together!) Maybe during the Rouge sale😊I love the eye looks you created, that purple is EVERYTHING!
I just got Synthetica in the mail today .. and I have to say it’s gorgeous. The eyeshadow is small though I agree. Seeing and sampling Pat McGrath’s eyeshadow for the first time was worth $25 lol . I’m going to have to get Rose Venus now 😆

I do find the price per ounce to be disappointing.. I am excited about her doing singles but like you said something should change. I'm planning on just saving my money to buy more of her palettes. None of the singles are so unique to me at the moment that i want to jump on it. Hopefully that will change though. Thanks Mel!!

I'm struggling not to go purchase telepathic taupe right now. However, I can't justify paying that much for a single shadow even if its Pat. I would have paid 15 hands down. But 25?! I am better off going and buying another palette from her. Thank you for being honest. I love that you left that decision up to your subscribers instead of telling us to go buy them.
Melanie Resutek i believe telepathic taupe comes from her first mini. It’s a cool toned set of 6. Of her 11 palettes, it’s my favorite. I’m NC15 with a neutral/yellow undertone hazel eyes brown hair (Fenty 150, Armani 3.5, Ford 1.5 stick, la prairie creme ..). It makes my hazel eyes pop. In fact, it’s my fave palette in my ENTIRE collection. I use all 6 shades and go into Mothership 1 for brow highlight. It’s worth every penny!

Doesn't hurt to save a few sharks. My favorite place is Mercari - you can sometimes find amazing deals on it but then you can't return stuff. I do love the beauty community and it's really what's it's about. I so hope you love it!

Stunning looks! Glad the formula is the same as the large palettes! That price has me thinking twice though. I agree the mini palettes would be best.
Beautiful looks but again I have all similar colors from indie brands with both vibrant color and fantastic formulas. My most expensive single pan was $8 while most were $4 and $5. I can not justify the price of PM singles. Again gorgeous looks and loved watching the tutorial.

Love Pat McGrath shadows so much ! I will be picking up a couple of the new shades. You are right about the price point. I could justify it to myself if the whole collection was new shades, I think I will look at the mini palletes plus one or two of the new single shades to go with it.

Hi Mel, Two beautiful eye looks. I ended up ordering a couple and will order the rest from Sephora using my reward points that I received gift certificates from. Rose Venus and Synthetica are my two favorites out of the new shades.

I agree with you Mel, although I think Pat McGrath has one of the best formulas in the market, the price is too high for the amount of product in this singles, hence I preferred to buy one of her palettes instead. Thank you for the informative video and lovely eye looks 🤗💕

Yep - the $25 price point is hard to swallow. The one shade I do feel that is unique enough (at least for me, and compared to what I own already) is Synthetica. That one I'm going to get. I can see getting a lot of wear out of it. Love the looks you created -- gorgeous!
kinkysweat did a really good review of these as well and posted a bunch of pictures on her community page of swatches next to other similar PML shades. I'm trying to tell myself I don't need Synthetica, but I definitely want! I'm still mad at myself for not buying Mothership IV (literally had it in my hand on a visit to NYC and put it back because of not wanting to carry it around and thought I could just get it online, not realizing it was sold out :( so annoying) , as I really like a lot of the shades that come from that one

Stunnings looks as per usual💖. My favourites are the copper tones, shades of purple tending to drain the colour out of me somewhat. Even though the quality of these eyeshadows is good, they are frightfully expensive for the size and the amount you get, which is a shame. I can hear my credit card 💷sighing with relief 😏....
