I find it interesting that they talk about her shadows being so expensive but there are so many other luxury brands that are way more expensive
I honestly think it's all down to personal preference and what you want out of a shadow and how you feel for a brand. Makeup is fun and for pleasure - I dont' get how folks get so ferocious.
Bella Aldama totally agree! I can go down the list...Surratt, Sisley, Chantecaille, even Chanel. Have you seen the Chanwk quads? Tiny. I looove PML but I know it is a luxury good....for people who can afford it. It is a total splurge for me. But I have always loved my makeup 💄💄💄

If you're concerned about travelling with these, please worry less. I had 3 of her 6 pan palettes in my make up case when the entire bottom decided to just fall right off. They tumbled down an entire flight of stairs with no damage at all. My horrified gasp may have taken a few years off my parents' lives though.

I purchased the Opulence Trio (Lapis Luxury, Synthetica, and Pale Fire) and Divine Mink. Since I missed out on the Decadence palette, I definitely had to get my hands on Lapis Luxury and Divine Mink. Some of the shades will be available on Sephora this Friday. I'm glad I grabbed Synthetica from her website because Sephora does not carry that shade yet. After seeing other swatches, now I want Rose Venus and Crimson Fire. Auntie Pat is coming for all my coins 😂

What a well put together video. Really appreciate the time and effort here, especially when it comes down to value for money and knowing which shades are already in the other palettes. I completely agree on the quality of the packaging for the price, especially when you are getting half the product for double the price, where is the justification if it has not been spent on elaborate packaging or packaging for more of a special collectors edition perhaps 🤷♀️ Appreciate that you splurged on these for your viewers as I enjoyed the video. I hope many look at reviews such as yours so that they can make an informed choice on whether it is worth it for them, not for me on this occasion as I already own a lot of her palettes and the cost is extortionate x

Wow! Thorough review! Thank you so much for the great advice too. Indeed, you get more bang for your bucks with a mini. IMO The subliminal mini is great for day and evening looks for fair skin tones - and for medium warm skin tones, the bronze mini would be most flattering for day and evening looks.

I agree with you don’t need the singles if have palettes
for sure. Unless you really want Synthetica or Rose Venus (which are gorgeous!) but still....25 bucks tho.

Beautiful look, you make it look easy! Love that lip. These are tempting because travel friendly plus sometimes I really want a particular shade but don't want the whole palette. When I travel is often when I want 2 look nice, take my fancy stuff. But I would cry if my Pat palette got damaged. ;( Her packaging reviews are hilarious to hear about. Kinda love it! Definitely sounds like an experience. :)

I like the clear cover to be honest, I hate when I cant see whats inside! luckily i have every single PMG palette she's put out so I not going to get any of these.! Beautiful swatches and thanks for all the great info. I really have to use my PMG palettes more, I really never reach for them especially since a beautiful little birdie sent me the new ND Biba, thats all I've been using :)
yay! I am so happy you've been using it. And it's true that the clear cover is great. I have the Marc Jacobs singles, and I have to open every single one to find the right shade, drives me nutz! And yes, I need to use my PMG's more too!
Everyone used the same colors so I guess they were free for review. I'm looking for Deep Velvet but obviously it didn't go out in PR so I'm having a hard time finding a review on this.

Ok i ordered 6, i ordered synthetica, corrupt, copper, crimson fire, lapis and burnished honey. The only ones that impressed me are synthetica and lapis. Definetly not worth 25.00. The crimson fire is not red is like a dark pink. If you want a red metallic you can get one from mac that came out recently. The shadows are very small. There are many similar ones to burnished honey on urban decay. If you are debating between the new natasha denona pallet or getting only 5 singles definetly get the pallet ans wait until they are available at sephora do that you get points and you can test them first.
Thank you for such an informative review, as always! I'm a little bummed out that Corrupt Copper (you make this colour look so gorgeous!!), Lapis Luxury, and Purple Reign aren't offered on Sephora.ca :( I'm definitely glad I invested in the mini palettes though!

They did a terrible job online and on IG when they showed the colors of these. Burnished Honey is way too red for my taste and Statuesque is darker. Rose Venus is pretty. But, as you demonstrated, these are a terrible value. I’m really thinking of sending them all back. One of the most disappointing launches from PM ever. In fact, I would have bought them from Sephora if I had known that I could. That way I could try them and then return, if necessary, for free. You did a great job with this, Morgan, Thanks! 💚
Yes, I was disappointed with the value for sure. When you try it, LMK if you think the quality was slightly better, it just seemed to glide on and blend like butter, even more so than the palette shadows. Maybe I'm imagining it. lol.

I thought these singles would be bigger than her regular palettes, but no! Im kinda disappointed with her price range at this point. Ill just save my money and buy her mothership palettes. I love her matte and glitter formula the most, the mattes seemed like skinlike and the glitters are out of this world... Love the look you created, as always PM shadows are the easiest to do beautiful looks with, you literally just used 3 shadows and completed the look in no time. Thanks for posting this vid!

I love you Pat, but forget it! There's just no way I'm paying 25 dollars for a shadow single unless it's one of her "special" duochrome/sparkly shades.

I don't wear much make-up, so if I find an eyeshadow that is the only color I'd wear, then I'll pay $25!
So disappointed that she didn’t release any singles in that sparkly formula. I’d have payed $25 for one of those, but not for these common textures (however good quality these are). I have tons of similar ones already in my collection by other brands and cheaper too!

They should have made these singles removable from the compact like other brands. Unfortunately I won't be buying because I hate clutter and excessive packaging. I hope to buy singles to create my own custom magnetic pallets. I'm only interested in 2 shades so it doesn't make sense for me to buy a whole palette with existing dupes from my current collection. :(
I agree with the packaging thing. also I just am not happy with the decisions made with this release! Just isnt worth it!
Its too bad you didn't buy some repeating shades. Temptalia mentioned that the singles seemed creamier/nicer in formula, and it would've been nice to have you compare the palette version vs singles version.

Gurl thanks for doing your research! I was curious if the singles were the same size as the palette pans. You'd be better off buying the 6 pans and maybe a shade or 2 of the new ones. I depotted all my 6 pan PM palettes to put them in a larger pan and it was pretty easy.
