If there's a water saver you might want to pull it out with a needle nose plyers so the sediment can be rinsed out then re-insert
Can you do the same with brown vinegar?
I have a Moen shower head exactly like the larger one in video. After overnight soaking I have large deposits moving inside it that apparently are too large to come out of the holes. Any suggestions?
Can I used white vinegar only and not the distilled one
we tried this exactly and it helped a little but there is still not water fully coming out it's clogged up. And water is coming out of the sides of the showerhead

@@poptrunkonu I agree. If the fix didn't work and you have the shower head already off... just replace it.
Its bcos your shower head has rusted internally 😉 & is squirting water through the rust holes,btw its time to replace it with a new head now.
What about the vinegar eating away at the rubber washers?

Nope not possible.
Vinegar is not CLR. Rubber and plastic bits should be fine. This is what I use and it works great. Also use it with baking soda and hot water on clogged drains.

Enough to cover the shower head.
One thing that would help is removing one of the shower heads
That would just make water gush out of the headless faucet

Have you tried reinstalling the shower head?
@@travisgreensweight9901 Yes, I have. I also tried taking a small pin and making sure the holes were open, using it and then soaking in vinegar again and again. This shower head is only a year old. It`s a Moen.
You could try removing the water restrictor if the vinegar didn't work. This may increase your water bill though.
my shower head was so bad every time I took a shower it felt like I was getting sand blasted. I just put it in the vinegar and will let you know how it turns out tomorrow.
