got me a GTS red '08 last april, love the car. Many 'hidden' features. If you still own it check it out. Best thing about these cars is the atmospheric v8 that makes and actual v8 sound and ofcourse the driving experience overal cause it is a porsche. You can set it in sport mode to mechanically open or close the exhaust valves for a nicer sound. Some 'hidden' features for example are that there is a seperate rear trunk window that opens up by pulling the rear windscreenwiper from the center like a small lever, the up and down arrowed buttons on the seats actually adjust the safety belt hight on the doorframe, buttons on the back of steering wheel turn the steering wheel button lights off an on, there is a compartment beneath passenger seat that usually should contain a small fire extingquisher and right next to it is an outlet from the air compressor to plug the cable in you find beneath the rear passenger seat to inflate a tire if needed using said compressor, there is airconditioning in the glove compartment box that you can switch on and off, there are distance sensors (green to orange and red light) for both front and back where the back are located right on the roofside in centre, there is button behind the steering wheel for easy acces on/off which will adjust the steering wheel and seat for getting in and out of the car. I could go on and on. So many crazy features.
GTS has always been a dream car of mine, and this 2008 model looks amazing! The engine note is pure bliss. I can only imagine how thrilling it is to drive one.
What a timeless classic! The 2008 Porsche Cayenne GTS still looks and performs like a beast even after all these years. Id love to take one for a test drive!
Have the Turbo S with all that body kit and double rear spoiler, all in black with black sports plus wheels, looks totally mafia until I get out! The car’s doing its best, it’s the driver letting it down!
It’s definitely one of the best Porsches, as long as it’s well maintained, car looks amazing even 2004. Plus you can always turn it in “safari” and get tons of attention again)
You attach the inflator hose below the passenger seat. There is a small door on the bottom left of the seat, and there are one or two power plugs under the glove compartment to the left. As for the stereo, you can get the Xtrons IQ92CYPP. It's a great unit designed for the Porsche Cayenne. It works with the Bose system, and all of the buttons on the steering wheel also work. I hope this information helps.
Ive always had a soft spot for the Cayenne GTS, and this 2008 model is no exception. That exhaust note is music to my ears! Great video, thanks for sharing.
On board compressed (shop) air. Obviously only when spec’d with air suspension. I’m from U.K….. plugs in under drivers seat (could be under your passenger seat as you drive on the wrong side 😮😅) pumps your tyres up effortlessly and the collapsible spare. Only car I’ve seen with on board air. The land rovers don’t have it with their air suspension as it would just break 😅 I have a tuned turbo s…. These cars must have been literally shocking when they were new 15 years ago now! Mine is still rapid even by todays standards.
Nice review, I always liked the GTS for it's sport look, but the front grille always looked bad for me. Since 2011 I have had my 2007 Cayenne S with the same engine as the GTS and I absolutely love it. Shame they don't make cars like those today.
Needs some headers and bigger cams to open up the full potential of the engine. In stock form its kinda dormant otherwise it's probably the most advanced and underrated car you can have today. Newer GTS 958 just only 15 ps more but the bigger diffeence is the weight reduction.

Porsche + GTS = Perfection 🏁

Its amazing how Porsche has managed to maintain its appeal over the years. Id love to get behind the wheel of one of these!

Like you said, it looks amazing on a road in a city, when it’s nice and clean! Love it
Still a cool car. Its a dream car of mine. Even in 2024 the cayenne is still cool especially a 2000s model like the 08.
It’s such a great build quality suv, low mileage one or from Japan still worth 20k+ and looks like prices keep rising.
Porsche never goes out of style.

It’s great information I had no idea about! Thank you so much for sharing 🙏
Just got me a 08 GTS and mine has an X pipe installed. Absolutely love the car.
Insane cars! I love quality of that more than new cars for many reasons
@@AndyLaRides right??? Not not mention a growing market for these cars. Definitely nice to be here before they are cool 😎😎😎
It’s the air compressor for the tires. You plug it in underneath the front passenger seat.
Never used it this way, good to know!
I have a 2008 Gts blk/blk 6 speed manual - LOVE IT! The hose in the back connects to the pump under the passenger seat
Nice! In a states? I saw 2013 manual once, regular 3.6 he got with a bad clutch, took him about 3 months to find it and fix it.

Thank you for watching! Appreciate your feedback but always 🙏
U-haul, it’s time to step in as a sponsor 😂
Always those cars on a back)
Nice Caye, Andy!
Classic Cayenne GTS, love it!
Have had my eye on these and the generation after for quite some time now. Ideally, I'd equip it for overlanding or light over-road use.

Thank you soo much for sharing , looking at 2010 base model 95k
Those cars built so good, you have a right choice 👍
Thanks for the great test drive video - its making me want one even more!
Cayenne are just so AWESOME and for wealthy folk not peasants like myself 😅
I have Porsche Cayenne same year! Great vehicle!
How reliable is the 957 Cayenne GTS?
Like 250k miles with no rebuild on engine or transmission, that’s what I saw myself. But tons of money on a gas🤑
Great hairstyle and great info on the car.
Thanks so much!
used to own one great vehicle
Secondary cat delete on my mine.....shud have left the factory like that in my opinion

It’s a great advice! I’m thinking to get one high mileage for great price, to make some work done on it. It’s true, hidden huge potential there!
Love the colour of interior and that engine sounds very smooth. The interiors of cayenne in UK is black.
U.S. specs different from UK, maybe that’s why it’s so popular in Japan 🤔
❤
Classic Cayenne GTS, love it!
