You guys motivate a ton a people including my self. Thank you very much for changing my life blessing from Cisneros Junk&Haul Express from Denver Colorado 🙏
That's funny people on the West Coast still use Craigslist! People over here on the East Coast which I'm around Atlanta don't use Craigslist. We haven't in 10 years, just because that would be the first place to get shot and car taking from you.
You guys are legends for sharing all this information. People pay money to get info on this stuff and you guys always come through with all the info. Thanks guys!
It can be done but not easy. I’ve at this for 8 months and most days don’t make 1000 dollars a day but I do spend quite a bit more then I make right now with posting adds and the gas I burn driving to get my name out.
Main questions for me to ask you, Are you on social media, do you have a website and are you on google my business? Also the population in your area is important….you are right starting out is not easy, you for sure have to put in the footwork to get your name out there and to start getting repeat customers.
@@SonomaStrong actually I do have a my google business page although I’ve had to fight with them for suspending my page twice and I had paid a local company to make me a website and they ghosted me so now I’m stuck with making one myself on godaddy and I’m not all that computer savvy but I’d rather struggle with that then to get taken for my money again. As for the market I’m in Portland Oregon so it’s a strong market for this industry.
One trick I learned from some guys named Ralph and Ed, is to take the drawers out and put them on top of the dresser, so when you carry it, it is lighter.
Love you guys so much! I am a single mom and oldest son is my partner :) We just got our website up and rebranding our contractor business from before my divorce to Sonshine Junk Removal! So excited. I watch everyone of your videos! Thank you so much for giving me the encouragement to listen to my heart and go out there and get that money!
Thanks for making such educational/inspiring vids! Love em. My ques: Can you break down what percentage of calls/jobs you do are for 1) minimum fee 2) quarter load 3) half load 4) 3 quarters 5) full load 6) 2 loads 7) multiple loads? And follow up questions: are those percentages the same now as your first year in biz using just a pick up truck? Is there any correlation between source of call (fb ad/website traffic/billboard on side of truck/referral) and percentages? : )
Way too technical.... even if you knew that, it could be different in your area.. Matt is too busy working to do a technical break down on his business... get to haulin and ballin and getr done!
Calls are different every day, lately we have been doing lots of half loads and full loads. This changes all the time….we als customers how they heard about us and they often say google search or Facebook
I have a question. Im not too far from you guys im in the san jose area. Do you think the pricing is similar here compared to santa rosa area as far as the 50-70 dollars per cubic yard?
It may be similar, we live in an affluent area so we may get away with a slightly higher charge, check with other junk haulers in your area to see pricing.
Great video. Always so informative 👏
Thank you
I wish I had a pickup! I have to get rid of my corolla on a straight swap if I can find one.

The very well condition things I would keep and sell them for the low and get something out of them
We do this often, refurbish stuff and sell stuff all the time
You guys are the best!
Thank you
I cannot believe you took all that good stuff to the landfill!
Sometimes they're no room to store that junk.
@@CesarPerez-it8xy No excuse.
Thank you guys for the motivation and inspiration picking up a pick up truck this weekend to start my junk removal business
Good luck to you
that $25k job of your friends sounds crazy! Any footage of it?
Another great video. Question, what did you guys do with that big copy machine, how'd you get rid of it?
We recycled it with electronics

Lol I thought this was the dumbest advice a subscriber has given us, Hahaha then I realized it was from the honeymooners and laughed.

What do you guys do when it comes to removing a vehicle?? I’d really appreciate your input.
It must have the pink slip or we don’t handle it, it becomes to hard to dispose of
@@SonomaStrong thanks for the advice
Do you have children to juggle around the business?? It’s hard; having a full time job; three children and starting the business
No we do not have that problem
U can post on Craigslist? I didn't know that do they charge by the day/month??? And keep the videos coming
Per post
JoJo has a nice cooler
