Okay. I needed this. Almost went off on a client but realized I need that dump truck 🤣😂.
US Post Office "Every Door Direct Mail" is the best advertising. You can target very specific neighborhoods, like wealthy neighborhoods and apartment complexes for about $0.06 each mailing + the printed mailer cost. You will never struggle to get customers once you figure out how to target an area with mailers.

There may be a lot of cheap customers on Craigslist but it’s better to work then to sit home and waiting for the phone to ring.
You can’t always hit a home run $1k profit job. But it’s all those singles that’ll keep the doors open so you can hit those jobs.

in this business people always start out low, you learn as you go...we don't have set prices, we have our min then we go from there, it depends on where its located, how far the drive is, how heavy the material is etc...

Isuzu light duty dump truck, we love it, we got it custom made with the sidewalls inside out so our logo could go on a smooth surface, we also have a lift gate which enables us to do some really heavy duty jobs with little effort. The truck cost 65,000 we have been told that they are more now. We got our truck from Monarch trucks out of San Jose, contact Bob and let him know we sent you there and he will set you up.
Do you guys think it would be a good idea to do moving and junk removal as one company starting off with a pick up truck?
you could do that, we moved someone before, it was a nightmare for us...we wouldn't do it, but many people find it to be profitable
