Do you use this after you have the full length of hair you want to grow out or does that cause your hair to not have volume on the sides from the two block cut?
You're only applying this serum on the side hair, not the top side hair that falls to the side. So it doesn't matter if you use it before your top hair grows long enough for a 2 block, it will just help make the growing out phase more pleasant since every side hair will "stick down."
how long does the side hair have to be in order for the perm to work?
The longer the better. I would say if you buzzed your side hair, you should wait for about 2-4 weeks before applying this downperm for best results.

How long have you used this for? And does it mean you can't shampoo for 3 weeks or just after the first applicaiton?
I've used it a few times and each time the sides stay facing downwards for up to 3 weeks. Don't shampoo for the first 12 hours after applying, you can shampoo anytime after that.
Have you looked into growing your hair out and getting a perm? I wonder if that would work.
Not at the moment but it would definitely look nice on a two block hairstyle

I recommend only doing it on the sides. If you do it on top, your hair will look extremely flat!

Why don't you sleep with a do rag on? That way when you wake up in the morning you can take the do rag off and then go out with your hair styled for the day? Do do rags not work??

I see so much tutorials on “fixing” Asian hair and they put so much product or heat on their hair. I don’t want to go bald by 30. I’m trying get a new hair style, but idk lol. This looks a little bit safer than the rest lol. My top hair is really straight, soft and long, it already hit that spot where it just stays down, because of length. but the sides stick out horribly, it looks rough, like I’ve been living out of a trash can. For a visual my hair looks like Han, from fast and furious, but with terrible side hair. I was thinking of doing a two block haircut or a curling the top, or making it wavy, but I don’t know and don’t want to damage my hair. Any advice, or recommendations? Hopefully someone sees this lol
I also don't like putting hair products/applying heat to my hair which is also a main reason I always opt for the two block hair.
With the two block, you don't even need to stye it and will still look good (just looks a little like a mushroom style).

Will this work on a double crown sticking out on the top of the head?
It would, but it might look unnatural when your hair in that section sticks "flat down" while the rest of your top of the head is normal.
This product is best used for your side hair :D

It depends on the hair of your top sides and top back. Usually it needs to be around the same length as hair fringe (slightly shorter)

Does dperm smell like rotten eggs. The only thing holding me back is the potential smell that stay in your hair like the down perm products already on Amazon. Dashu reviews.
I have tried it a few times and definitely don't think it smells like rotten eggs. I did notice the smell of the down perm did stay with me for a few days after applying it though but it's not a "bad smell" as the product is made with natural ingredients.
After washing my hair with shampoo a couple of times, the smell slowly faded for me.

Only for about 4-6 weeks. Your side hair will grow out and it won't stay down anymore but if you don't cut it, the gravity will help it stay down

Yup. You really only want to avoid washing the perm off using shampoo because then it won't be as effective. Feel free to shampoo the next day

I would not recommend. Judging from video the hair before and after , the hair did not look very different. It lasts only few weeks and you have to repeatly reapply the product. It is a plants base , but they have to add smoothing solution. If you do it for a long period of time , you will see how thin your hair is. Advertising purpose . Host should be honest .
