Ik u do only 2block vids and some others, but do u know anything about making your hair less poofy or dry.
Ive been taking showers daily but tryna stop. Because my hair is becoming more dry. Should i try to grow it out and then get the 2block or should i get some products for the situation?
@@aceblob4477 I would start with washing your hair every other day to avoid drying out the hair. Also reduce using a blowdryer and let the hair air dry. You can use some essential oils to soften your hair too if you want.
These methods can be done while growing your hair out for a two block!

I use my iPhone 8. And it's 6-8 months depending on hair growth. My hair just happens to grow a little faster but in a few more weeks it would be a long two block.

Do you mean your top sides? That section needs to fall over to the sides for it to look nice!

Can you explain what you mean by just "shaving the sides"? Like, can you describe what I would need to tell my barber in order to replicate that exact style that transitions between medium-length hair to the 2-block haircut? (e.g. is shaving the sides also still an undercut? Do I shave the back? Trim hair on top?)
For a two block haircut, the side hair is either fully shaved or faded depending on how short you want it. I have many videos on this topic so feel free to browse my channel!

For july 6 cut, you can just let them know you want the sides and back hair trimmed short but leave the top hair to grow out. Hope that helps!

Did you get the hair on the top of your head thinned out while growing out your hair or did you just let the top grow without cutting it at all?
Thinning shears were used a little on the top hair just to remove bulk. Not a lot tho

Nothing special. I just used regular coconut scented conditioner and head & shoulders shampoo

my back sides are shorter but my side and bangs are longer, what should i do? What size clippers were used for your buzz cut? I normally get a 2 and I decided to grow my hair out a month and a half ago.
I used #2 clippers for my buzzcut 6 months ago. If you got a buzzcut 1.5 months ago, you would have a two block in about 4.5 months if you choose to do so!
You should try growing out your mullet though 👀

I currently have a slight mullet as the bottom is about an inch longer than my fringe and almost 7” (towards the bottom of my collarbone when I pull it towards the front of my neck) and the fringe is almost 6” (at the bottom of my mouth and starting to go below)

naw you should shampoo your hair like every other day or 2-3 days(depends on how oily your hair gets)and wash your hair daily with just water and conditioner

This depends on how short you actually want it. I like doing clipper #1 or #2. Side can be slightly longer if you want a gradual fade but I like my hairstyle more disconnected.

You don't have to get a buzzcut haha. Goal is just to grow your top hair out longer so it falls to the sides just above your ear.

So my hair is basically like yours and I’m trying to grow it out the same way as you and I’m about 2 months in right now, I have hair growing in all directions and it’s really ugly, when your hair grows out long enough does it automatically fall down like the top of the head or did you do something to make it fall down? And asking a barber on how to trim the sides what should I tell him, shave the sides or something? And what happens if the top of your hair where it falls down grows too long should u leave the top of the hair the way it is and trim the sides? And when I trim the sides should I let it grow as it is and let it grow straight out or use some kind of product to let it fall down or does the hair from the top automatically falls down and covers the sides. I’m hella confused. And when taking showers should I use shampoo or conditioner cuz I heard that shampoo kills your hair. And btw did u use any hair products in this time skip? If not then it’s rlly gud for me.

My hair was all natural in this video so you can see the progression at which point it starts to fall downwards. Typically your hair will fall down after it is long enough from gravity. And no I did not use hair product a single time in the video.
You can ask for a fade on the side hair and leave the top hair to continue growing it out.

As for shampoo/conditioner, I use shampoo every 2-3 days to wash it out. And conditioner to make my hair softer

As long as your top hair can fall to the sides and back evenly, the two block hairstyle will work
