Excellent video. Thank you!
Are some cameras at the point of learning. What I mean is when you brought in the second person & camera gear, after a couple, or even one run through, would it do a better/quicker focus when & if you wanted it to. I thought recently, one of the camera companies mentioned learning on one of the newer mirrorless dslr’s. What next? I’ll take anything B&H wants to put out as a mostly photographer could understand.
The auto-focus is more exact, as it's actually focusing on something, whereas in your manual focus tests, you're just sorta ballparking it. Hopefully something about your subject is in focus. Also keeping something in focus in a shallow dof is a nightmare unless your subject doesn't plan to move.
Shooting a subject through smoke, window with rain drops, or when the subject itself has no texture (cue ball in billiards, or white ceramic plates), will require manual focus, even in photography.
informative 10mins.
Is autofocus video working with any canon lens L series or only some?
The lens needs to have an autofocus function in order to have autofocus working while recording a video.
I wish Sony would update the SLT A37 with the same body. A new R1 would be nice
These lens are not designed for focus pulling in this way. A manual lens would achieve this?
Some times process and conclusions give better understanding than explanation. Needy & intresting topic please try in real world situation one more time.
Wedding film making
f5.6 is cheating. Now try with f1.4 and 5cm DOF
