I think the "Girl Boss" movement has greatly ruined the image of women in positions of power in companies, in addition to being a cringe expression, the best leaders aren't male or female, they are the most qualified

I had a great Mom - Dad left when we were young. There was no support from him but we got by. Mom was a school teacher and she raised my brother, sister and me by herself. We didn't have much but we were happy. She never remarried, she really didn't have time to get into another relationship. My Mom has passed away and I miss her a lot. I am successful today in large part based on the way I was raised. Work hard everyone and enjoy the small things in life.

The problem with the “boss babe” or female CEO is when they reach these positions they still want a man who earns MORE than they do!
How many of those men do you think there are?
Would those men still be interested in you, especially when YOUR money and success don’t mean ANYTHING to them?
Hey, I’m all for equality, but that doesn’t mean just “equality when it benefits me”.
When I see “Boss babes” marrying men who earn LESS than they do and paying for the family then I will agree to “equality”.

Here is the issue, if a woman foregoes her opportunities to work, advance and take care of herself, in favor of committing to and supporting a relationship and a man, there is a very real risk that that man and that relationship might not work out for a million different reasons. Now, the man, who has been financially plugged in throughout will be OK, but what will become of the devoted homemaker? Every person should make sure they can take care of themselves if needed but I agree with you, there is not much better than committing to a relationship and a family especially if that is were your heart leads you. I think you, will be totally fine no matter what life you choose, you are ambitious and smart, you should be proud of what you are doing. And keep up the great work.

My guess is that it’s about (in)dependence. This is especially true in an individualistic society in which “trust” has become rare. And in the past, women whose husbands left them or died were indeed in quite a bad position since it was very hard for them to earn a living on their own. So because today the world is opening up the possibility for women to embrace careers that would historically all-men stuff, it’s understandable that they go for it. However, time in running in cycles, and the current cycle will end at some point, we just don't know when yet.

You have valid points. The only comments that I would add are- I wanted a wife when I was young; someone to grow a life with and have children with, but the gals were flaky, entitled, and chasing the 'top guys' instead of quality guys, since junior high. I am stable now, and I have no interest in risking my assets at this point. I didn't have issues dating, but there were no gals left that were virtuous, fit, friendly, and nurturing. Femininity has died, for the most part. I'm in a different mode now, and I intend to 'slow travel'.

My mom was a girl boss who committed to the sacrifice factor. From a seamstress to a CEO of her own company. Her company manufactured toy products for Kenner and a major player in manufacturing surf wear for OP.
My mom balanced her time as mom and business owner somewhat fair. While my siblings and I were at school, mom was working. Mom’s presence at home began around 5pm.
My dad was present. His career as an aeronautical engineer was one I admired immensely. A great dad. My mom was a great mom.
The current relationship I am in is I am the provider while she is at home, taking care of the household. She loves the dynamics of our relationship, as well as I do. We will be traveling more (God willing) and seeking our individual goals as a team.

You now sign to “Protect and Provide” whole heartedly to that woman. Thats what men do. and its the right mindset, I have thaught.

But I believe all women should have a way to make money, even if it’s online; Because most women end up divorcing their man; raised their children alone, if her man leaves she can just put that degree or that side hustle to work.
Personal I don’t want my woman to work, if she don't want to. I would feel a failure if my woman were to pay 50/50; But she must have a purpose. There must be some activity she loves to do to keep her busy and to go out of the house.

Most men want to become CEO’s, or otherwise successful to impress women, to grab their attention, to prove to her, he is competent and has what it takes… its not even for money… money is only a proxy to show competence and impress girls.
Womens secret power is that they can grab and direct men’s attention… women can keep men focused on important goals, or make them stray from those (the whole witch, nymph, syren, temptress thing) most women these days forget they have this power, (or just use it for a superficial attention) and just want to be like men… and then we are all lost…

When you become rich you “quickly” realize that you can only have one beautiful woman of your choosing, but try another and she gets jealous and not talk to you for days. Her ardent Silence hurt more than any words. And it can go on for days

Historically when a woman lost her man she got with another man. For example if a village was raided and the men were killed the women would take the raiders as their men. Women are mercenary like that, which is why there were restraints on women such as not allowing divorce. Given the current state of the West where women are no longer constrained relationships are too risky for men with significant resources.

a lot of the men dont have a say when it comes to kids being raised by single mothers. it's usually the woman that creates that situation... using the kid against the men. not saying the men are perfect, but there are many that get shut out of a child's life. the very job a woman is best at and many aren't very good at it at all.

Regarding philosophy, its refreshing to hear your steadfast opinions - with no apologies. Rarely do people state their ideas with such conviction. "This is what i think."
Whether i agree with you or not, when thoughts are expressed with such clarity and passion, the result is spectacular dialogue.
From a standpoint of survival, to me it is a verb - struggling to slow down the process of dying.
With a partner that we love, our motivation to survive is much stronger.
    Take snorkeling.
When i see a turtle, or a seahorse while swimming Alone its great. But its more fulfilling and pleasurable with a lover, "hey baby! Look! A turtle! A seahorse"!
Unfortunately, loneliness in the world is becoming an epidemic.
Well i'll stop Bogarting your comments section. Happy monday.

What the trama response is from is moral degeneration of society...period. Really took a steep slope down in the 60's, unmarried sex and drug use. Thats pretty much it. Stay chaste and morally disciplined is the way to go, it's never too late to start over.

All Adaptations are weaknesses, not strengths. So your whole idea of thinking that makes you strong, better guess again. And this applies to all life forms and species of animals as well.

@@horaciomaidana1055 It doesn't matter if you disagree. Nature has something else to say. Adaptations are always concessions, and it doesn't matter what type of adaptation it is. What it essentially means is that you are forcing your body, mind, or what have you, to endure or adjust to situations and scenarios or lifestyles that do not fit categorically within its native function or range. This applies to anything as well, could be even an appliance or a car. In the long run, our species has become weaker from adaptations.

Exploring the philosophical interpretation of "Why do women desire a 'rich man'?" requires a meticulous examination of numerous assumptions and potential oversights. A considerable apprehension resides in the inclination to excessively generalise human aspirations. The interpretation posits that the pursuit of wealth universally signifies a yearning for autonomy and freedom; nonetheless, this simplistic perspective neglects the complex and diverse motivations that propel individuals towards financial achievement. For some, wealth may act as a practical tool to escape poverty or to secure the welfare of their loved ones, rather than a deep quest for greater significance. This assumption risks detaching the conversation from concrete realities, reducing it to nothing more than a philosophical notion. A notable flaw lies in its continuation of gendered stereotypes, even as it aims to critique them. By expressing the aspiration as "wishing to be a wealthy individual," the interpretation inadvertently strengthens the notion that wealth, power, and autonomy are inherently masculine traits. Instead of examining the historical connection of these traits with men, it unintentionally strengthens the societal belief that ties financial success to masculinity, overlooking the chance for women to redefine wealth and success through their own lenses.

You are truly a UA-cam intellectual. I was saving these for my channel, but since you already discovered the missing pieces of the puzzle, I’ll just add my analogies to yours:
Men and women can’t plug in together if both are the prong, or both are the receptacle. They can’t bond like Velcro if both are the hooks or both are the loops.
