Easily the easiest to make yet looks so happy hearts quilt! I love the confetti pattern-the hearts look as if they are floating!! I’m thinking this would also make a gorgeous Christmas quilt using all the odds and ends of leftover fabrics!!

It would be simpler the make the hearts in two halves. Cut your square in half vertically. Sew your four small squares to the top corners. Sew your two big squares to the bottom corners. Sew the middle seam.

Confused a bit cuz in the screenshot of the fabric requirements it say 4 1/4 background but when you said the requirements you said 3 3/4 background fabrics. Which one is correct? Dont wanna come up short.

This happens so frequently to those watching soon after the video drops, then miraculously it's fixed later on Monday. Wouldn't a simple solution be to have the video and the store page for this project update at the same time each week?

Misty great quilt. Question though…is there a reason why you didn’t keep the blocks square, vs making rectangles? Couldn’t you have just “snow balled” each corner to get the heart shape in each size? 😊 curious minds.
This is so fun! I used a fat quarter bundle I had "Riley Blake Kewpie Love", and I got four large hearts from a fat quarter and fourteen small. The pattern says 4 1/4 yards background, but I found the 3 3/4 yards was plenty. I cut the small 1 1/4" squares out of my scrap and I opened the strips and cut from the middle. Also, I pressed the center seam of the top hearts open, I found this made the block lie flatter especially at the seam to the bottom. This is so fun to chain piece!

Yes, the link is broken. However, you can search under patterns for the confetti hearts, and you find it very quickly.

For my granddaughter’s graduation I am making a very similar heart quilt from Cozy Patterns called Cross My Heart. Yours looks a bit easier.

You can’t snowball the inner top centres of the hearts, that’s why you have to have them in two pieces.
