Not a Viking Many of the pilots in emergency choppers in Norway has military background, and they Are highly regarded as one of the world best chopper pilots! 🤙🏻
Well, just a normal day in the Norwegian helicopter industry. They do those everywhere, we have a helicopter company called Airlift and it does helicopter things but also moving/lifting missons on mountains. And this one time i was watching with binoculars from the ground and up on the montain, when they were finnished there they litterly nose dived down the mountain side. and I have seen many other helicopters do that
I am working thru your previous Videos. Very respectfull from you not to focus on the injured person. Not everyone respects privacy in that way. Good job!
Thanks Thomas, if he was truly in need I would have just set the camera down and helped but he was able to walk and communicate fine so I felt free to sit back and film. And honestly, if I was injured, I wouldn't want someone filming me, but that helicopter though! -J
If the pilots suspect they just wanted a taxi back down, they give them the full experience. Like this dive. The cost of flying up there is a bit more than your uber, and since you are not the one paying for it, enjoy your ride.
I've been to Norway and it is one of the most spectacular countries is the world in it's stunning beauty. If you go there for viking historic stuff, there is not that much left. Oslo has a great museum with a viking drakar boat and through the country there are some stavkirks, old wooden churches, but they are from after christianity came to the nordic lands. Some norwegians still believe in Thor and Odin. Were you guys troubles by hordes of refugies? Fox news says there a hordes and hordes of them.
+Erik Stoop Im loving your facts. To be honest I have not ran into any refugees that I know of. We saw some in Greece but have not met any here in Germany. We have been touring around though so I think that might be why. -Ash
If interested in viking-museums, know there is one in Limfjorden _Denmark. Closed when i stranded there, -out of season. :-/ Think there is several more. ( Bet you are on top of it :-) ) ( ... @ Marianne Bailey: Why not ..? : - ) ) ExEMTNor
Next time, when you see a rescue helicopter and you or somebody near to you needs help, stand up and make big Y with arms above your head. Then pilot see, that you "NEED HELP".
Its better to wink with both arms over your head! Like a y but move them And if you have IT use something that can be Seen easily. Movement can been Seen easier. :)
Wave your arms, until you get contact w. the heli. -Then make a "Y" with your arms, -WITH THE WIND FROM BEHIND. AND..: VERY IMPORTANT: DO NOT BACK AWAY IF WHITEOUT ( BROWNOUT )CONDITIONS... 👀💪 Super pilot ! 😇
Wow ! I hope that guy is ok
I'm sure he's able to tell the tale today. He had hurt his arm or shoulder while hiking. -Ash

The pilot doesn't care what you show. They have no confidence. And it checks it on what surface it lands on.
Fortunately,it was none of you :-)
I agree.

How did he even broke his arm? If he had that bad balance should not go on that full-day trip in the first place
