Awesome action! Thanks for hanging out with us last week at Muskies Canada Mississauga Chapter last week! We're looking at our maps a little different 😉👍
Thanks for having me it was a good time.
such a fun video to watch. awesome seeing you and jess crushing the fish together
Was an action packed day for sure. Thanks for watching!
Almost unbelievable.. I love watching these videos...
Unbelievable sucker footage. Great job man.
Awesome Doug.. I got Monday an Tuesday Muskie fishing Kentucky
Good video but I have to use hard lures or dead bait.
I can’t bring myself to put hooks through something that’s still alive but it sure works
Great video. Love watching the Hooksets! Looks like a blast!
Was a super fun day! Thanks for watching.
Love your eagle lake videos!!! I look forward to them.
I got 3 more left for you!
So sick! By far the most dialed musky angler out there!
Thanks for watching man!
Great video and musky attacks!
Funny thing is that in europe there are more left baitcasting reel.
But we don't have musky only pike...
Great vid...the right handed reels mess me up too, lol.
Great video Doug, awesome day on the water. You can get Jess a lefty trolling reel for Christmas.
That’s a good idea! Daiwa makes a left handed Lexa 400 line counter.
I’ve heard people using a front hook instead of the nose clip. And sometimes that front hook being the only one that has them. Kind of like how you showed us to run beavers with the front hook.
Awesome" HAMMERTIME!!!
Lots of hooksets lol
Nice job
One of these days Doug I'm going to book a trip with you your on my bucket list. Hope to catch some absolute giants with you
Sounds good to me.
@Doug Wegner Fishing
Hey Doug Merry Christmas to you and your family. I'm from Buffalo Ny and I'm a member of the Niagara Musky Association. The first Tuesday of every month we have our meetings and discuss musky obviously and conversation pretty much a variety of topics. I know things are crazy in the world right now but just outta curiosity we're always looking for guest speakers to hear theyre stories learn from them and get new tips tricks and techniques to get better at catching these beast. Would you be willing to be our guest speaker either in person or maybe some type of zoom meeting in the near future?
Another gem! Great job, Doug and team. Now, you don't need a left-handed reel, just have Jess tuck the butt of the rod under her left armpit, not right. It wouldn't be so awkward that way. You are both tremendous!
Where is eagles lake
Was that last one caught on a super shad rap ? Great video.
No was a triple D
Funny how much more they roll when they fight when the water temps get super low.
Never noticed that but I think you’re right.
@@dougwegnerfishing gets even worse when your playing around ice. Latest I ever got to fish LOTW was dec 5th. Only places to get in were up in Kenora where there was current or access to late open deep basin. Not many places to get a boat in and out unless you knew someone 😎. We got two that day 48”, 49”. We had trouble releasing them honestly as they both hit trolling on super steep breaks so likely came up out of deeper water. The temperature shock of that near freezing surface water makes it hard for them to find their equilibrium. And in saying all that somehow they seem to do just fine when people catch them ice fishing, so maybe I’m just talking out of my ass? 🤷🏻♂️ I never seemed to have an issue with fish caught using suckers super late in the season but some reason several fish trolling. Fished sabaskong with suckers right till it froze up for several years too
You are a great angler but ,hide' the hooks in the sucker? Muskies and pike realy dont care.
That’s okay you don’t have to hide yours but I’ll be hiding mine.
