I have always liked the Reinharts because they are not loud just a nice low rumble. Thanks for sharing and now that you have them would you buy them again? Ride Safe
Yes sir! I highly recommend and I believe it is worth every penny so far. I'm looking forward to that first long trip so that I can see how they perform on the long haul. Your time is much appreciated sir!
Great comparison video Ty! I started with the Rinehart 4.5 slip ons and later added the DBX baffles. Made it sound even better. That was a great cost effective way to get a lower rumble out of the slip ons. Just ordered the Rinehart Slim Line Dual Headers and will be putting those on when they arrive. It's a never ending process to get the perfect sound. Ride safe Brother!!
Hey now! No tune needed just for the slip-ons. They sound fantastic and I’m super happy with the product. Thanks for watching. I appreciate your time!!
That is exactly right. The video captures some of the sound, but I think you just have to hear it on the bike! Thanks man and I hope you are doing well...
Ty from Ohio here. I just put the identical set on my 17 Street Glide Special over the winter. I think you will be pleased. I will be letting them sound off on the Foothills PKWY and Tail of the Dragon next Sunday.
Hey there. I have since traded in that bike, but it has KST 12'. It was the perfect fit for me and I have the same ones on my Road Glide now. Thank you for watching!
I have a Road Glide 3 and many folks are getting the Tab exhaust with Zombie baffles but they sound way too loud for me. I want to be able to hear my stereo and don’t really want anything more loud than my stock pipes…how are the Rineharts for hearing music? It sounds nice on the video like a lion purring. 😂
Hi Jon!! The bike runs fantastic! Everyone told me that a tune was not needed just for the slip-ons. The sound in person is really impressive. For years I went with V&H but I’m glad I made this choice. If you enjoy the content on the channel would you please consider subscribing? Thanks and have a great day!
Very nice video and great sound of that Rinehart mufflers ! Was it a big job to modify the bronze stock muffler heat shields to put them on the Rinhart's ? Some people say that the CVO stock heat shields are not compatible with 4.5 inch aftermarket mufflers. I really love the stock look but would like to upgrade the sound. Cheers from Bangkok !
I sure hope the video was helpful. I have a Road Glide now, but still the same exhaust just blacked out. It's a great product. Thank you very much for watching!
Great choice, TY. I'm running 4" on my RK and absolutely love the sound. Picked V&H headers though. Did the mod virus infect you now? Stage II , next?😉👍
Oh I've been bitten by that bug before! 😂Not sure what's next. Maybe I'll start looking into Legends suspension. I sure do appreciate you watching the video and supporting the channel!
@@TyFromTennessee Most of the time when I took long trips, I would wear ear plugs, but it was never the exhaust noise, but the wind noise. Then again, it all depends on the helmet or cross winds that cause loud noise.
Hi mate I have exactly the same bike. I really love the color of the heat shields on this bronze amor CVO. My question is, do these 4.5 rineharts fit Under the stock shields?
@@TyFromTennessee Ty, many thanks for videoing this comparison with stock CVO pipes. Like you, I liked my stock 21’ Bronze Armor CVO look and thought it sounded “ok”. But have always enjoyed the sound of the Rineharts, throaty without being obnoxious. Now that I know I don’t loose the matching bronze armor heat shields I will have to follow suit and order a set of the Rineharts. Sure glad I ran into your video!
Hi Ty, What is the model # of slip-on’s you ordered? There are multiple black tips on the DBX 4.5 slip-on’s so wasn’t sure which black tips you chose. Thanks
We had the 4.5 motopro on our 107 and loved them. When we got our 2020 we went with the Rinehart DBX45. They have quite a different sound. I really like them too. Can't decide which one I actually like better. Lol One nice thing, they sell just the inserts so if I want to switch back to the motopro45 sound I can. Great video!

Those sound fantastic! Great upgrade! I've got my eye on the Two Brothers 2 into 1 pipes. They sound great too and I hope to add more torque to my bike when I can afford it.
