I LOVE THE VIBE of your Van. It's decked out nicely. Rockhounding, seashell-hunting, fishing, kayaking, and cooking foods in a nice public park are some of our favorite Activities.

@@Beanbugging I just found your channel, I'm liking it. We love the different waterways and water related activities, yes 👍 🙌. While we're in Florida I DO NOT kayak here 😥 😔. Yes, I'm A CHICKEN 🐔. WAY TOO MANY GATORS AND CROCS so I'm in kayaking HOLD MODE for now. The fishing 🎣, however, is soon to be wonderful 👏 😀 with Bedding fish building their beds for the Springtime Spawning Season. I only do Catch N Release style fishing 🎣 getting them back on their Beds asap.

Beautiful and useful video! It might be a good idea to hang the fire blanket, and have the tabs hanging out. One quick pull and it's unfolded and ready to throw.

The end was funny! Love your van, very homey. One thing I would say is a voice over helps the viewer so we don't have to read while you are showing something. I think I may have missed some details. But a great job on your build. And love your kitties.

All wondrously practical ideas that fit in really well with your cosey cottage theme. I once had a Buddy heater but couldn't for the life of me get it to work. Instead I ended up using fat candles which worked surprisingly well in stainless steel bowls. Where there's a will there's a way which your video shows quite well!
Bespectacled, love it! And the end, poor Santi still working on that pop up! They're so practical and yet can be so difficult! Great fun that - and hearing your laughter. Stay this way no matter what commentors may say. That is, unless you two want to drop a few rhymes, lol.

Stunning build! It’s my kind of vibe. I didn’t build mine out from scratch because it was already mostly done by the time I purchased it and I now have a host of physical issues due to multiple spinal cord injuries but I had a very similar aesthetic in mind. Either way, I am moving forward with personalizing my van to the best of my abilities. Thanks so much for sharing your tips on organizing, practical tips , etc. Enjoy your journey!!!

This was an excellent video. I also have a diy van, and I have kept mine really simple for the past 12 years. Occasionally I have done a few upgrades but my modo is keep it simple and life will remain easy.

I saw one yesterday where a man had bought a 3 gallon insulated cooler, like the Gatorade cooler at Little League games, with the spigot; and he poured his solar heated water in it so he could shower at will rather than only mid afternoon. He also had a shower pump, so all he had to hang from his shower tent was the spigot; and it had a foot pedal for on/off.
Not something you'd need unless you're boondocking, but I found it ingenious.
We were actually going to have a foot pedal sink installed into the interior build! We were going to attach a handheld shower head for whenever we needed to shower. We unfortunately didn’t have space for a sink so it didn’t work out, but that is such a great idea that man had! Thanks for sharing 😊

I need to know more about the solar shower! My must-have item for my van is my HomeFi hotspot, it's been so helpful for working remotely and it can fit in my pocket!

Love your van and the tips in this video. Currently an RV dweller and in my opinion star link is overrated. We got it thinking we'd need it to have good Internet but it doesn't work very well for us even when we have a clear view of the sky. I've found that our T-Mobile Internet works better and is so much cheaper. Honestly wish we hadn't spent all that money on star link.

Only one problem if you're 6 foot tall. You can't sleep from side to side.
Good thing a 6ft tall person probably won’t be sleeping in our Van haha we built it specifically for us, we won’t have anyone else sleeping in our bed 😊

They are actually separate items. But a heater and a fan combined is such a great idea! We’ll have to search for an affordable option
