iPhone's now-a-days are punchy with too much HDR sometimes. I remember reviewers criticising Samsung when they had the same look.
Gurl it aint “punchy” nor too much hdr hoped u even watched the vid. Look at samsungs cam literally the opposite of what u just said its washed out
@@Gabriel-hv1yu I guess you're newbie lady. Samsung had that punchy, bright look earlier which the iphones currently have.
Apple has preset modes, so it is easy to change to natural mode. You set it as you like. It is just Apple has made the default more punchy. Win for the iPhone no matter how you spin it. Waiting for updates on S24U as they are too washed out and need to change.

In my opinion, most of the photos and videos, including color profiles and look better on the iPhone 15 Pro Max labeled side of the screen. Are they swapped?

I would love your opinion on which one actually looked truer to color. For instance in a lot of the photos it looked like the doors on the Samsung were black. But on the iphone they were almost a shade of blue. Or at night during the videos of the cafe the iphone looked oranger/redder, etc These go back and forth between which is better under different circumstances and I'm sure if you took the same photo then times on both they would switch back and forth too.
Good job. For people saying that Samsung is much worse or not even close I think they may be biased towards Apple. Which isn't a bad thing. People are allowed to have different opinions and likes. For me I think the ultra 24 nailed it. And I'm coming from an iphone

The S24 Ultra's camera needs work. It would lose to the 23 Ultra in a photo and video battle at the moment. The video battle would be close though.

iPhone photos tend to be overexposed, and that has sadly taught many users that washed out photos are "better". As someone who has a degree that included both 35mm and digital photography, i will say that these 2 phones are close enough that most won't care, although the Samsung photos being able to be processed at higher resolution due to the higher MP means that on a professional level or for those who use photo editing software, Samsung wins. Both great cameras though.

Did you swap the logo? Iphone pics and videos seem like those of galaxy and visa versa.
what in the world is wrong with SG24U's microphone?? Awful quality. Is there a noise cancelling effect? Can it be removed?
I think there is a mistake in labeling the image....S24 always gives this vibrant image...But how come here its all opposite
Samsung's new colour science apparently. Muting colours is what it is all about for the 24U.
Nice work! Great demo of how different the images are especially in coloring. I’m an iPhone 15 user but I have to admit the Samsung excels in many areas.

The photos from the S24 look a bit dull at times. The extra contrast on some of the iPhone pictures look real good
Wow the S24U looks so good. Wasn't expecting that.
IPhone's photos nowadays have higher contrast where as Samsung's photos look close to natural ,earlier it was the opposite. Quality wise both are obviously very good and now it depends what the consumer prefers.

It was always like this, before Samsung was more saturated and now washed, iPhone at least has more consistency

As a S24 ultra user coming from iPhone, the 5x zoom is garbage and needs work with the Ultra but however if you have the time to get a photo on the 5x zoom, use pro mode, the photos with pro mode are actually better and more clearer when zooming in and yes I have done with both normal and pro modes. It makes a difference if you have the time to adjust the pro mode settings like iso, white balance, exposure and shutter speed. There’s a cheat sheet on Pinterest for that for quick reference. The main camera is good for both modes as well as the MP setting but for now I would use pro mode for 5x zoom shots
Ojalá samsung mejore su camara con las actualizaciones porque yo tristemente compre el s24 ultra por la cámara por lo que decían de la inteligencia artificial..Comparamos fotos con el iPhone de mi prima y la verdad me decepcionó samsung, a mi me interesa las fotos porque viajo mucho y me gusta tomar fotos. Samsung debería poner un sensor más grande para que entre más luz no importa tanto el super zoom , lo que importa es la calidad fotográfica
So... never got which phone the audio was coming from. Samsung seems better to me. But the images look a little too flat(prefer that to iphone's crushed details) and the ultrawide needs an update cuz it suffers in low light.

Currently i use galaxy Note 9 exynos version, When 15 pro max came out wanted to buy it but i waited for S24ultra was hoping for a big improvement in video department still the same problem and the lens switch is not smooth as iphone, every year they're behind Apple, I am going to switch to iphone
Only way for camerz switching and zoom is give us a variable optical zoom
This is planned for the S25 Ultra, along with a 50Mp Ultrawide lens and 'improved' 200Mp sensor.

You can get a good result with both of the phone. iPhone is slightly ahead with those video quality.

Even an Android devotee like myself has to admit that IPhone video is a class apart for detail capture and smoothness and low light noise control.
Thx a lot for this in depth comparison! Compared to the S22U, it's almost shocking how much better the S24U is. And in almost all shown examples, it's also clearly better than the iPhone.

I don't know why you compare the 200 with 48 people use the 12 mica-pixel because it has the high dynamic range and the correct saturation of the image I always see your comparisons between phones and I cannot complete the video because it is unfair and does not give the phone the right to photograph

Megapixels count for very little nowadays. Sensor size and quality and Pixel size are more important.
Samsung allways thinks numbers are best. But thats not the case in many scenarois

I wouldn't call it superior. I think both are good in particular areas. It is a matter of preference, not facts. I prefer the iPhone pics in certain conditions and the Samsung's in others. Neither one of them is superior.

Who the fc takes shots on 200 mp, they are too large. Shots taken with 50 mp compression on Ultra,are way better than 200,and it many cases better than Iphones. I've watched a proper, pro Comparison with statif and so on.
I've never been a fan of iPhone's yellow tint.
Just turn the true tone of. Iphone pictures are accurate, samsung allways white/purple the photos

Seeing this video, the S24U photos look kinda bad but.. They are all shot on 200MP. While that will give more detail it degrades image quality. Heck, even the 50MP degrades the quality but not as much as the 200MP mode. (not talking about detail but overal quality)
Not trying to be a dick but u should have used the standard mode of the main on the S24U.
The photos were all shot at their default resolution. The MP count displayed is to show the resolution of the sensor/camera, not the resolution of the image captured.

I don't really care who has the best camera or is the fastest phone in benchmarks. Every flagship smartphone takes super pictures and video's and is blazing fast. 97% of all smartphone users don't even see/notice the differences.
I'm a SMARTPHONE user so I want the best screen (dpi/brightness/anti-glare), best battery, best/most usablility and productivity options, best gaming- and multi-media experience, best personalization options and best innovation.
I want DEX, KNOX, S-PEN, call recording, multi-tasking, multi-window, fingerprint scanner, best screen, widgets, themes, integration with windows, the biggest eco-system (Samsung SmartThings), fast charging, fast wireless charging and I want AI.
On all these aspects the S24 Ultra is destroying the iphone 15 PM big time. So why keep people buying these antiquated, restricted and very very limited iphones?

Iphone is smoother and have better camera. Those are undisputable facts and anybody who disagrees with that are flat out blind or bias.
True. Even pros are agreeing, as did DXOMark. But Samsung fans will support the better hardware of the S24U and the extra lens as reasons for that phone.
The IPhone has a better rounded and developed camera system than the 24 Ultra at this point in time for sure. Hell, even the 23 Ultra has a better camera system at the moment. MUCH better.
Went to a store with GREAT light conditions and compared S24 ultra with my friends S23 Ultra. Photos are looking washed out and lack details on all lenses. I dont know what is wrong with the software but this is NOT how you release a phone. Photos from S24 ultra look like 4 generations back at the moment. I wanted to buy the device so much till i saw the results with my owns eyes and it was an instant turn off. Ain't purchasing if the camera is not updated to be brought up to high standards. Can't buy a device just on the promise of being updated.

@h.a.6060 If you don't see the lack in detail, then you don't have access to both phones or haven't investigated full sized photos between s23 and s24. Believe whatever you want mate. That does not make it true.
