This was ana amazing vdo. Guys i have recently bought an iphone 14 after being a Samsung stand for a long time. The seamlessness when witching bn apps, user frndly when connecting with other ios users and customization in setting are just too damn good that Samsung cant come near. But when it comes to the stuff like downloading music, converting pdf files, sharing in whatsapp and even the basic things like selecting pics is just 2 or 3 unnecessary extra steps which i hate. So rn im stuck in the middle and cant decide. Should i sacrifice the fluidity of the iphone to small features, or get a samsung for being efficient in small activities ???
what seamless are you even talking about? my friend has iphone 14 and I have s23 ultra, s23 ultra is my primary phone and but my friend keeps an android phone beside his iphone 14 as a daily driver. I have used iphone 14, i felt its literally a trash bar nothing more than that, that ugly display, that ugly design, and more specifically not having back button, even whatsapp calls shows up in call log really bugs me off. Talking about fluidity, I dont know what are you implying here but I guess you have mac and I have windows and my s23 ultra integrates with windows properly. I can receive calls, I can share files, i can read messages on my laptop without touching my phone. Android is so convenient.
I wonder how did you meant colors are better on iPhone, iPhone 17.0+ has software issue/bug of shifting color saturation which means photos, apps etc. doesnt look exactly how other people see it on their (not iphone) phones and even computer monitors. When i found out about this thing, it was a dealbreaker for me, I edit pics on my phone and making something adapted to iPhone (undersaturated) and then seeing it totally different on other device is a big nono
Not to mention, iPhone pics often have warm tones to the point of casting a yellowish/orange-y hue, particularly indoors. And I notice that he didn't even mention the ongoing iPhone issue of lens flare, especially noticeable in very low-light & nighttime shots (the notorious "green dots") 😮 😢 😅
8:19 not judging your benchmarks and no hate to any brand but you'd like to do a more detailed test on performance before concluding the performer. Cause on the iPhone 15 NVMe you get read write speeds less than that of Samsung ufs 4 so video render and transfer speeds are faster on samsung s24.
The iPhone also has everything you need in a phone. Also, phone works great with any Mac or other Apple devices. You are failing to realise the iPhone has those things too.

Hi, thanks for your question. Both the regular iPhone 14 and iPhone 15 have two cameras, you may be thinking of the iPhone 14 Pro, which has 3 cameras :)
Hey dion really enjoyed the video, could you please do a iPhone 14 Pro vs iPhone 15 vs iPhone 15 pro? I don’t know which one I should get, due to price and battery life and the camera.
For the price, Pro is not for everyone this year. The base and plus Iphone 15 offers so many Pro features this year like dynamic island, 48 mp camera, 10x ‘zoom’. If you really want the camera, go for Pro. If you’re looking for a normal sized iphone with all the features for cheap: go for iphone 15 base model. If you want good battery life 1000 maH more than the base, go for Iphone 15 Plus which has a bigger screen and better battery life. I have the iphone 15 base in blue. Iphone 14 Pro isnt worth it. Conclusion: get the iphone 15 base or plus. Go for Pro if you have a good reason like the camera.
You compared s24 exyson vs iphone 15, I had to pick between them I would lean towards iphone, but if it was snapdragon I would close my eyes and get s24
I really enjoy your videos. You are very skilled, and thrustworthy in your reviews😊 I have had a A54 the pasy year. Have been very disapointed, especially with camera, battery and slow charging. Im considering S24, OnePlus 11 or Pixel 8a.
Hey, I just got the S24. I compared it with the iPhone 15 and decided to go with the S24. I'm really into the new AI features, especially for writing emails and text messages for work. I can't stop using them! The AI is super helpful and does a great job.
That is a great video thanks! I have a question for all off users. In Turkey iPhone 15 256gb's cost is 2000 dollars and s24 256gb's price is 1350 dollars. Also s24 has some discounts such as student discount and exchange support. But in the scenario of the base situation, which would you buy while costs are like that?
I would choose the S24. In my country, Cheapest IP 15 is 810 usd with 128 gb and cheapest S24 is 880 usd with 256 gb. As i can manage the storage with 128 gb, i went for iphone.
I can't see how the OS is a tie when samsung on android offer so much freedom & ios is so restricted, that's ridiculous. 1 can argue about security & fluidity is better on ios but I have never had any issues with those on samsung OS, & I've used both over the years. Samsung is way better. Apple os feels like a prison.
I had an iphone 13, upgraded to an s24, did a straight across trade for the iphone 15. in every aspect EXCEPT for OS I liked the samsung more. The touch id integrated into the screen, the display, refresh rate, the responsiveness, all of that for me went to the s24. I grew up on apple though and could not get used to android os for the life of me. Literally swapped back just for ios. The perfect phone to me would be the s24 with iOS.

Additional appreciation for anyone who finishes my videos :). Thanks for your compliment and for the sub!
I was going to get a 15 but then found out it was 60hz...getting a s24 for $15 less a month than what the iPhone would have been too lol
Ah, the competition I've been waiting for. Great video, Dion!
Thanks! 👍
Absolutely love both of them as both have their advantages and great hardware specs this time...
your videos are so nice to watch. periodt.
Glad you like them!
S24, without a doubt. S24 has everything you need in a phone, built-in.
Also, S24 works great with any Windows 💻 or others Samsung devices.
The iPhone also has everything you need in a phone.
Also, phone works great with any Mac or other Apple devices.
You are failing to realise the iPhone has those things too.
@@TheGaangwell there are way more windows users than mac users use cases are way more convenient for samsung compared to apple
@@mingjinlim430 most people who use iPhone use Mac. I don’t get what your point is.
@@TheGaang I don't think the entire world is using Macbooks 😂😂
@@jordanjackson8873 I don’t think the entire world use windows😂😂😂
To me, coming from an s9+, both the display resolution of both phones are a downgrade for me xD
In the end I bought the iPhone 15 because I have been using Android for over a decade now, and I wanted to try iOS.
How did you find it?! I don't know what to do?!
@@reneecrotty6910 So far I think its great.
In my opinion it doesnt really matter which you choose, as long as it not an old device.
To me the Iphone made more sense in the end simply because I already own other Apple devices.
I personally like the IOS operating system design more than the Android one.
Thanks for this fantastic review! 😊🙏 Is the Samsung S24 you've featured here the Sapphire Blue version? Or Marble Gray?
Thank you so much! 😃 My S24 (as in video) is the Marble Gray version 👍
@@DionMedia Great to know, thanks! Much appreciated 😊
Love and support ! ❤
8:19 apple used A16 bionic chip processor, not A15. Ig there is a mistake.....
you are right, was mistake
3:05 Wow that color shift is bad. I noticed the same when I bought the S24 Ultra. I returned it for that reason.
I've seen other videoes where all S24 beat iPhones on the benchmark category. Why did iPhone come on top on this one? UK version instead of the USA?
are you sure? In all the videos I've seen, iPhone has always made Samsung miserable. :))
@tflyh You're right but the new s24 base model beats iphone's base model but not in this video 🤷♂️
@@olvinWTF There is no such thing. The only thing the S24 can surpass is its 120 Hz screen feature. It is defeated in everything else
@@ycknhzgnot really - its processor is better
Both displays are awesome.
Apple uses Samsung displays.
Samsung makes the best displays on the market.
Both cameras are good.
I would buy the Samsung over the Apple.
The iphone doesn't have a fingerprint scanner another reason why I would not go with the iphone. Apple has face unlock Samsung has both face unlock and fingerprint scanner.
Customization on the Samsung is unlimited Apple is limited on customization.
Both devices are good but Samsung is King for me.
Refresh rate is a big deal nowadays because of new graphic demanding applications
I would definetly like to see a video where you compare iOS and Android!
It is on my long term list.
I have heard that that iphone 16 doesn't feature 120 hz. is it true?
Yes
was hoping to see durability category.
can a person who’s used both of these phones share their experience??
I wonder, how many people actually cross shop these two phones? Aren't most folks wedded to one ecosystem or the other?
In a way you are right, but one will be surprised to know how many people still consider “the other side”. And in the end stay at the same side :)
Ecosystem comparison is what I’d like to see. I’m locked to Windows PC, so smooth interoperability with the smartphone is very important for me.
Iphone 15 is not even comparable to the s24 for christs sake they still have the big selfie module on the iphone apple at this point is just behind
Sensible video. Well-done!
Thank you!
I like that the Galaxy S24 has thinner bezels
great video as always, Dion! im waiting for the ultra and pro variants :D
Thanks. Coming up, coming up :)
is this exynos or sd version?
Exynos :)
indeed
I think you should have use an s24 snap dragon for that video because it is better than the exynos
@@DestinyOshioke my country didnt have snap variant😭
Hello!
For removing objects, what app do you use?
Samsung Gallery, it is built-in feature
Thanks Dion for bringing up the detailed comparision ! I still like the iPhone 15 though. Good work , Keep Up !
Thanks, will do!
Nice and Honest comparison
You're getting so, so much more with an S24. I get wanting a iPhone 15 if you just love iOS and it's ecosystem and that you just don't care much for the Pro. But other than that no S24 is much, much more worth it 😭
the day apple starts getting serious and show some innovation is the day I'll start comparing the two companies
If we are being honest, nobody cares about the 60 Htz unless you just want to hate on iPhone. On day to day use you’ll barely notice it.
Nobody cares about 60hz refresh rate? Maybe if u haven't experienced 120hz .. but if u experienced 120hz, going back to 60hz is horrible thing
@@RM-bp6pt I’ve used both and it don’t matter on a day to day use honestly.
during like two hours it seems bad but you get used to it very fast and that doesnt make lots of differences, i have the s24 and I know damn well that the 60hz on the iphone 15 isnt bad at all also due to ios' interface which is very great to use.
Question why is it that the iPhone 15 only has a 2-camera set up, and the 14 has a 3-camera set up, Just wounding.
@@therelaxingwonders thank you for the explanation!!!!
get the 15 Pro. Dion even suggested getting the normal iPhone 15 over the 14 Pro. It's just better value and lasts longer.
What do you mean battery was a draw?? The S24 has 4000mAh and 15 has 3300mAh
Well if the iPhone still lasts as long? 😂
This is the most beautiful iPhone colour I have seen in recent times...
Samsung’s cameras trash
Tbh the only 2 things I want in iPhone non pro model is atleast a usb C 3.1 and 90hz display that’s the minimum they can do for non pro models!
I bought the S24. It's simply better in every way.
Hey, I just got the S24. I compared it with the iPhone 15 and decided to go with the S24. I'm really into the new AI features, especially for writing emails and text messages for work. I can't stop using them! The AI is super helpful and does a great job.
The iPhone 15 has the a16 bionic chip not the a15
That is a great video thanks! I have a question for all off users. In Turkey iPhone 15 256gb's cost is 2000 dollars and s24 256gb's price is 1350 dollars. Also s24 has some discounts such as student discount and exchange support. But in the scenario of the base situation, which would you buy while costs are like that?
Btw, interstingly our most of people (at least 8 out of 10 people) choose the iPhone. Idk, they admire iPhone like their mom found the Apple company
I would choose the S24. In my country, Cheapest IP 15 is 810 usd with 128 gb and cheapest S24 is 880 usd with 256 gb. As i can manage the storage with 128 gb, i went for iphone.
in my country the iphone 15 costs about 300 usd more
"let's settle it"
"Hey the eCoSystEm" bro what
How the battery & charging became TIE ??? No way
Can you hide the front cam on the s24?
I just upgraded to iPhone 15 and watching this made me feel...
Its ur opinion, for me and most of us its just an user experience
While 90% might say the Samsung S24 is better, 90% will still choose the iPhone 15 🙂
Not being able to adjust speaker EQ is my main reason not to go for ios
