Your most technical review yet! Great you took the time to elaborate on not just the cells differences but also the shock differences. Considering your 'other' obligations, I'd say the Extreme did pretty well. Not perfect but seemingly a very good effort from BG. Thanks Jack
*In regards to the; Chooch incident* , I dont talk about the cut out. I didnt discuss it in the review because this only happened recently, and editing again would delay the review even more. I see both sides: 1) Chooch shouldnt have been going that fast, on a wheel that he well knows given his experience isnt designed for it. 2) Begode needs earlier warnings, 2 beeps before cut out is not good enough. Something like pre-emptive warnings, but I have no experience in software engineering so I dont know how realistic it is. Regardless, as someone who's been riding for 10 years+ on EUCs and been in more cut outs from prototype testing to pushing limits etc...It's important to: 1) Wear your gear 2) Play within your limits 3) Provide data back if you can to manufacturers so they can investigate such incidents to result in a better product and a safer community for all.
Well said Jack. After years of riding I can honestly say that every crash I have had was user error. It sucks chooch had a wreck like that, hate seeing anybody getting hurt, but I have to agree, and yeah he knows better.
How does it feel in your... 'role' whatever it is as like the bridge between Chinese factories and Western audiences. Hearing your voice in all the new promo videos (I think) and it seems leaving Kingsong gave you the ability to kinda float between companies.
This is by far the most difficult career/job I've ever had. Since leaving Kingsong it took me a year to have the trust of all manufacturers, understand how I could help benefit them and the entire EUC industry. Constantly I have to balance between my relationships between manufacturers and my stand point as an end user, as well as the company vs retailer relationship. Though difficult and stressful my passion for EUCs makes this job easy even when I've had little to no sleep in the last 2 days.
@@official.electricdreams thanks for the detailed answer. It's good that you've managed to create a unique role that no other reviewers can really touch. The effort shows and now it's time to hibernate for a week or something 😂. Thanks again
Wow wow wow! Your best review to date! Amazing production, interesting and educational testing, insightful commentary! I’d like to see a cohesive conclusion at the end of the video, and even more head 2 head against competitive wheels like the commander mini. Or maybe just do 16” shootout!
100%, I've been very excited for this wheel but they still botched the geometry, hopefully there will be an aftermarket option because it doesn't look like they plan on fixing it 🤷♂️
great video! i really want to see a video similar to the one you did with a bunch of wheels at the track but this time it would be a 0 to 60 or 70 kph and no riding beeps. the extreme looks like a great wheel but they just need to fix a few things
@pacochawa2746 Factual statement, but what counts is how it holds up after a crash, extreme took a beating and still got him home, the adventure is very modular, like to see how durable it actually is though.
The light sure ain’t too durable, or at least it wasn’t on Chooch’s test ride. I don’t understand why they didn’t supply the wheel with a screw cap to cover the charge port, which would’ve helped enormously with regard to preventing the ingress of water and grime. The shock and the suspension arms geometry doesn’t really inspire confidence either, to be honest. Looking forward to the Inmotion Adventure, which seems to be a more superior build and far superior suspension setup.
What's odd is how much the voltage changed after each run. The 50E dropped 1v after the first run. You'd think they would last longer being high capacity. Maybe they're getting really hot and as such losing more energy than the 40T.
Production value has gone up so much, great job I love the video, love the review, again great job, this review is great in Production value just like ride one's video, 👏 👍 🙌 ❤️ ❤
Is the correct air shock size 200mm x 55mm ? I have the Extreme on the way and will swap the coil shock to the DNM 36RC like u did so to not bend the rod.
THANKS.
@ 7:16 It looks like the one with the 900lbs written on the tape, over the taillight, looks like the suspension pivot rod is already bent??Is that right? Or is it my eyes??
When his friend did the drop on both 750/900 wheels, the 750 didn't sound like it bottomed out, but the 900 definitely had a clunk. Why would the 750 do better in that test?
i ride off road trails and i prefer the coil suspension but i don t want to bottom out ! what i can do to fix this ? just wait begode improvement on the the coil shock ?
That's just how Chooch is. Lied about his speed...and then dramatizes it whenever something happens that just seems to happen to him. He was absolutely not going 32mph lol. It's also not a speed demon street wheel. It's a trail wheel that he wanted to use on a freeway.

From what he said about a huge sag , voltage drop (right?) It seems like a possibility the problem is an unfortunate assembly issue. He may not have a good connection on one or more battery packs? Maybe a battery pack is bad. So, another consideration is not just design but remember with manufacturing there is a matter of process (parts, design for a quality manufacture (design and assembly process quality), test and revise (hopefully a good company would use HISTORICAL data to learn!!!) include beta testing by dummys(just kidding...er ah, well sort of), revision. One thing that is not obvious though is sorting of cells in each pack to match them up (so BMS is supposed to be there in case of an issue caused by wear or extreme use or future failure). A break in doesn't seam like part of Chinese communist party practice---just get the product made and sold ASAP. The break-in is important (look up Bath curve for failure...a reason not to get an extra warrantee) OK, my usual long post sorry!
@@gritred5500it could also be that the test wheel he used came to the USA without the batteries fitted (to expedite shipping via air), and whoever put it together Stateside maybe didn’t do a perfect job, but hopefully we will get the data and be able to evaluate what went wrong.
During torque test, u mentioned both wheels were on 350A but then when you were leaning hard with Xiao wu , footnote said both are in stock firmware ....I had a look at current latest firmware and extreme is limited to 280A.....another question, any difference if wheels are run on off road and race mode as well?
yes, since our test they have increased the current from 250 to 280a. Offroad and race makes a significant difference, you can check out the unboxing video. The sound each of them make were quite difference as well as performance, offroad has more low end torque.

Based on your experience with both adventure and extreme, which one has more torque?
I’d love to know as well. Between those two myself for a smaller wheel.
even on 350A ..this wheel does not feel like Patton ...incredible how Leaperkim.has done with 126 v.
