Man, what happened to you ??? You have so much raised your game, you’re NEXT LEVEL with all the crazy jumps, stairs, trail tricks ! This wheel seems so powerful (not for me) but wow 😅! Nice ride review !!!
The reason the Patton broke was that they put overvoltage protection on the BMS, when that activates from overvoltage all current go into motherboard, since August they removed it from the BMS and only kept it on the motherboard, same as it is on most other wheels, so the reason it broke wasn't about how much it was charged even if overcharging the batteries is not great it was due to extra protection they had in it. I'm not sure what you mean by Begode doing more safety margin, on Patton you can configure tiltback based on PWM but perhaps you ment overvoltage protection. Also it's great to see Begode doing positive changes in firmware but I think they are releasing new versions to fast with not enough testing, as a consequence riders become testers, this is not good and potentially dangerous. Also worth to note the travel is not 130mm as claimed, just counting the rubber stoppers you have to remove 15mm and then we're not accounting for the linkage which is not performing as it should, as with Master perhaps a 3rd party linkage will improve it.
Your riding is next level man! Amazing review! Only thing you forgot to mention is PWM tiltback, that is gamechanger for me, finally Begode is as safe as Inmotion :).

Ride one yt channel tried both and he liked mini commander better but he rode street. I think the wider tire, smart bms, suspension travel, waterproofing, and overall asthetics is what appeals people. I love my extreme, if it never come on market the mini commander was my next choice. Extreme bull is coming out with a 168 volt commander gt pro. That's the next performance wheel to watch out for next.
Adam, if you have such opportunity, please, say something about Commander mini. It's seems to me the most balanced suspension euc for all propos. And build quality looks like very good. Thanks. Vitannia z Ukrainy :)
I love my extreme. Pad broke behind my leg somehow and i used super glue and its not holding up its about to break again. Im too scared to jump bigger than like a 12 ft gap but im working up my confidence. I learned to go down stairs second day i had it and i came from a 16x. Also forgot to put pedal down and tried to step on it and it did the tornado spin of death and the spinning tire friction burned my leg really bad😂.
Mine got away from me a little when I stepped off, tilted, accerated with my hand on it, I let go and tornado of death for my left calf. I got a level 2 contusion, that took six weeks to mostly heal. The ground had a 12 inch circle burnout lol. I bought motorcycle boots so that can’t happen again. It felt like my calf was right on the edge of a Charlie horse/horrible cramp the whole time. So swollen could only bend my leg 🦵about that far for a month. Most painful leg injury I’ve ever had easily. Staring at a brand new, 10 miles at the time, wheel for 6 weeks was torture. Stay safe :)
@-renoboarder-4820 i dunno why yt didn't tell me you replied. But yeah my friction burn injury wasnt that bad, it scabbed over. I tore my meniscus like 3 months ago from getting jarred off my 16x. Its still getting better but my knee may never get as good as it was. I can't bend it too much or squat. Be careful grabbing it out a vehicle. I almost broke tip of my finger in linkage grabbing it out my van by the rear light and plopping it on the ground.
@@BANGbucketHEAD I hope you feel better soon. Any injury that keeps you from riding is the worst! Funny you mentioned the linkage. I switched from the soft to the hard linkage hole, and because the pump that comes with it, started leaking, my air shock only had about 50psi today when I stood it up to move it and my fingers got smashed when the whole wheel sagged straight down. why this and not the Patton? I did ride a nik and a OG sherman on Etna mountain bouth had overheating isssue...so for my next visit I want extreme or patton but I do not know which runs on low temp(also the motor, not only the Mb)
That’s not what I’m saying :D I’ll try to make a comparison soon. Also including the S22 Pro and maybe V14. For me the extreme has more travel and nice software so that’s what works for me. Less bottoming out.
With latest updates extreme has more torque, is more durable with its all cnc metal design, has more suspension travel and soon you can get 50s extremes with minimal voltage sag and can ride at top speed down to low battery%..extreme also more stable with its low cog and wider 3" rim
extreme has more suspension travel than the patton.. 130mm vs 85mm. Patton may feel better with fork suspension, but not function better during jumps, drops, obstacles etc. Never rode a patton but I love how the suspension on my extreme performs. I wanted a patton but changed my mind from specs, and how the extreme looks. Extreme's tire is easier to change. Also Waterproofing, smart bms, bluetooth speaker, and seat are plus over patton. I dont like pattons bulky bolts and the way its handles look. It looks solid, but not cleaner or aggressive looking like extreme. Dont like the round simple taillights either. I pedal clipped a rock and my wheel went tumbling and handle got slightly scuffed. Its a tough wheel.
Do you hit your knees on the front handle? I don't ride with kneepads most of the time and I'm worried about bashing my knee into the corner of the front handle :/.
Ahhh yes. I forgot to say about it. I usually ride with Kneepads and when I ride without the biggest issue is with starting. Otherwise no bigger issues
@@mr_wrongway Ahh good to know! Could you make a mention of it in your next video possibly? Maybe it can inspire someone to make a new handle or something for it. That said it'll probably happen anyway but yeah.
@@Mpower31 I wear kneepads and dont have a problem with this but want someone to develop a new front handle thats angled forward and doesnt obscure the screen when youre leaning forward.
Based on the specs the extreme is better..v14 is capped at only 43mph, has much less suspension travel and has a lot of plastic in it and therefore very likely much less durable than the all cnc metal extreme design.. plus 50s battery extremes are coming very soon which I recommend you get over the current 50e battery ones for being able to sustain top speeds to low battery levels (just like the v14 that also has 50s)..50s means much less voltage sag compared to 50e
@@justinspirational I'm mostly interested in safety. Raptor controller seems very safe, with huge margins... and begode... is begode. Every now and then I see random cutouts/shutoffs with Begode wheels. My own Nikola+ motherboard died in less than a year. (Never ridden to beeps).
Quite a lot of discussion on the electric unicycle forum about the ‘usefulness’ of the present suspension ‘design’ (🤔 12:05) on the Extreme; it seems that there are more than just an odd complaint about that aspect.
@Warxcell lol.. there were no 'random' cutouts.. they were rider induced cutouts that would have happened with any brand of wheel when the rider exceeds the limitations of the wheel.. the warning beeps have since been updated with gradational beeps... you should be aware there are a group of people out there who have an agenda to put out any negative fake news to make begode wheels look bad to increase the sales of other brands but it's all fake and nonesense.. the extreme is the best and most fun wheel to ride ever made. The highest torque, highest accelerating wheel ever made and the first with a smart bms (which in of itself improves safety).. .there is nothing more unsafe about riding begode wheels than any other brand these days.. . If you want to be safe don't ride eucs period.. those who overpowered their extremes did not take responsibility for turning off the safety warnings like tiltback that all begodes have in the first place or setting their pwm too high.. that again is rider error.. there is nothing wrong with the extreme at all.. begode quality is as good or better these days with their latest generation of wheels as any other brand yet better value for money offering the highest performance (as they have always lead the way in performance) yet have also caught up in terms of quality and safety.. imho the highest performing wheels are the safest as they have the greatest headroom before cutting out/ over torquing and begode wheels have always lead in this regard.. less powerful wheels will cutout and over torque on you sooner and therefore less safe.. and I high speed cutout is the most dangerous thing that can happen.. it's already been proven that the chooch cutout he was going 47mph from analyzing the video.. he wasn't going slower.. and then he overpowered it when it was already at its limits at only 70% battery.. any other 16" 4p wheel would have cutout sooner.. and this is normal.. not an anomaly to the extreme.. begode have updated many of their wheels with field weakening increasing the top speed (at the expense of lower torque) increasing the headroom and therefore the safety in this regard even more
What did you find on battery life?? Chooch says it’s horrible.. drops a lot within a few miles????? Thanks for the videos. I’ve been watching you for years now??? Maybe it was the Kingsong 16x???

The highest torque, highest accelerating wheel ever made and the first with a smart bms (which in of itself improves safety).. .there is nothing more unsafe about riding begode wheels than any other brand these days.. . If you want to be safe don't ride eucs period.. those who overpowered their extremes did not take responsibility for turning off the safety warnings like tiltback that all begodes have in the first place or setting their pwm too high.. that again is rider error.. there is nothing wrong with the extreme at all.. begode quality is as good or better these days with their latest generation of wheels as any other brand yet better value for money offering the highest performance (as they have always lead the way in performance) yet have also caught up in terms of quality and safety.. imho the highest performing wheels are the safest as they have the greatest headroom before cutting out/ over torquing and begode wheels have always lead in this regard.. less powerful wheels will cutout and over torque on you sooner and therefore less safe.. and I high speed cutout is the most dangerous thing that can happen.. it's already been proven that the chooch cutout he was going 47mph from analyzing the video.. he wasn't going slower.. and then he overpowered it when it was already at its limits at only 70% battery.. any other 16" 4p wheel would have cutout sooner.. and this is normal.. not an anomaly to the extreme.. begode have updated many of their wheels with field weakening increasing the top speed (at the expense of lower torque) increasing the headroom and therefore the safety in this regard even more
Do you have the 50E or 40T battery pack on this begode extreme?
50E
@@mr_wrongway Thanks, do you think the 50E pack is enough in terms of sag or recommend the 40T?
@@casperpedersen169040t is only 1900 watt hours versus 50e 2400 watt hours. 40t is for racing.
What did you find on battery life?? Chooch says it’s horrible.. drops a lot within a few miles????? Thanks for the videos. I’ve been watching you for years now??? Maybe it was the Kingsong 16x???
cooach extreme is special for ewheels with diferent high amp battery He not respect this. Cooch no have good beeps warning now is fixed by begode say. Question is buy no problems patton or risk fresh EXtreme revison/ batch i hope all be fine and begode implement BMS etc sucesfully if not bad times for owners come.
Range is excellent as mentioned in the Video :)
@@mr_wrongway sorry I missed that!
Chooch had 40t batteries which are only 1900 watt hours and discharge faster vs 50e with 2400 watt hours. 50e is way to go
@@BANGbucketHEAD thank you that information it’s very helpful.
Does the extreme rim feel stronger then a s22 pro
Seems like it!
cant wait to get my extreme :D
U in Scotland mate? ... Waiting for v14
@@EUCScotland nah Denmark, my name is Scott and I like Scotland but have never visited 🤣
@@Scottnr2aha... Nice... Enjoy new wheel man
You will love it. Its non-stop fun. Like a damn mini onewheeled dirtbike for your feet
Awesome content ❤
I used to have gotway Wheels .🤷 .
If they keep thinking right I might have to get another soon 🤦
You done a range test?... Thx
100km GPS :)
@@mr_wrongway oh man that's really high... Chooch had issues on range for some reason
@@EUCScotland yup great result! I wasn’t going fast though!
@@EUCScotlandhe was going up hill prob at 50-60km/h ofc he only got 16km
@@getahorsetostickittoputin Chooch had 40t cells as well, like 20% less capacity off the bat.
The ending Heh Heh - He might answer!
Interesting, Adam abandoned chin protection.
EXTREME PROBLEM??? Begode weakened the center slider motor mount in order to expand the suspension travel vs the Master and EX30. It is being reported on electricunicycledotORG "Begode Extreme Review: Off-Road Thrills & Durability Insights", that the motor is shearing off the center column!! Adam...you are jumping the Extreme alot...check your motor mount area for damage! What say you?
no response from Wrongway yet?
mountain 👍🏻🤪🤜🏻🤛🏻
Commander mini review when?
Not planning to do it :/ barely available in Europe and no smart bms. So sadly probably not on my channel :/
Came here to like so you can hit 1k and find a mountain to climb. Haha
👍
Vs the v14, interesting choices. Anything better than a kingsong is what I always say. 😊
kingsong is definitely turning to the beginner market but that doesn’t mean they’re worse
@VECTOR_Coasters how cruel for a new rider to the hobbie than a pile of trash that requires non-stop maintenance and add-ons..... why ppl regurgitate they good for entry-level riders beyond me. Didn't you hear Adam? You buy a s22 you need fairings, pads, cnc rollers, spring, lights, seat, tire. Kingsongs not for anyone.
@@dirt.surfer Hi i'm kinda kingsong enjoyer since ks16s, now i'm riding full stok s22 (not pro) for a year and its just do its job, no addons, no maintenance)
S22 still like best jump wheel though
Yo yo yo yo yo yo yo
Head to the mountains bro! 1k likes ;)
Yup!
Climb a mountain
Soon! It’s getting less muddy every day
Its time for another gear review update. Wins and dont buy list.
Once I get my helmet - yes :D
You didn’t talk about speed. 🤔
I didn’t do high speed tests. I just ride up to 50 km/h nowadays. I’ll make an acceleration test for the main review
thats why i love euc's :D theyre exciting even if you dont go above 50kmh! im the same :D@@mr_wrongway
More cheerleader hype
No burning wheels? c'mon Begode.. its not you

Bro has major ‘getting laid again’ energy in this video lmfao. You were hard to watch for a while lol. Glad that positivity is back. Get after it bro😂
