Wouldn't it be easier to switch bulbs first and check fuses before switching ballasts? I'm trying to leave that as my last resort since it would require the most work to remove. I replaced bad fuse but bulb still not coming on. I took good bulb from passenger side and put in driver side but it still won't work. I am dreading needing to replace ballast but I don't know what other simple thing it could be. If I missed something would you please share other options? I will wait until tomorrow to try something else. Thanks for video.
I just bought 2 months ago and the igniter is too big. It would not fit through the hole as the factory igniter does and after I got it through with some slight modification to the headlight assembly itself, the ballast stopped working a month later

Is removing the bumper necessary to get to the ballast?
