To be honest, for me he is the best drummer I ever see, I know there is a very good drummer's but this guy can play what ever he wants with no problem. Have you see him play Latin jazz. He is another level.
He rotates his left hand and wrist to strike different parts of the snare drum, uses his index finger and thumb as a pivot point and his pinky as a trigger mechanism for quick blasts.
Nah. It’s like the chef in Ratatouille. He has a little rat in his beard and he pulls the hair to move el’s hands and feet. Definitely 😂😂

If you watch his body and the way it is relaxed, how his hands hold the sticks, loosely allmost an afterthought, but then his choice of notes... the small details....
That is musicianship in it's purest form I think!

His right foot is on a player pedal, switches from single bass hit into a double bass hit with the touch of a switch which he uses often in his videos
In the movie DRUMLINE there is a scene where they use a computer to write the notes the drummer had just played. This could be used for E E S.
I say it every time he puts out a video he is the best of all time that’s just the way that it is everybody needs just to get the hell on board with this he’s too good to play with any band!!!! and I agree with the other comment, you are definitely the best drum reaction host out there you are the only one that should be covering this guy no one else

I heard other drummers say he's out of the pocket, he lacks groove etc. They made me think about what Clarkson once said, they're looking at the crocodile that's about to eat them but all they see is that the croc is a little bit crosseyed.
Now when we say he's the best I think we should develop a bit, he's not the best in every way at drums, some drummers are more groovy etc. But he is the best at drums, period.
