  • Uphill acceleration test from standing start....
Admittedly the rider of the PX is 20kg heavier, but the LML is considerably faster off the mark and much better at climbing hills.
On the other hand the 2-stroke PX is much easier to tune and a performance exhaust will make a big difference.

Hi Gary I only use my scooter a lot in summer (im old and soft now) it runs great I left it standing over winter in a dry garage but now it has to be kick started most times which is easy just 1 kick and its starts poss when I get to run it a bit more than the tuesday night club night only 6-8 miles it will charge the battery or if not ill upgrade it to a jell one as lots of others have done I have done lots of rallys on it Whitby in the rain last year and scarborough in the rain last year I HATE RAIN lol also road to Liverpool then ferry to Ireland road round wicklow hills and mountains for 10 days with no problems at all !!!! scooter has no rust other than slight surface rust on fork leg and the exhaust which is normal for any scooter brand it's done over 4,000 miles now so its due for a new belt and rollers dont want it to snap etc like my mates has done twice but his is a work tool with well over 18,000 miles on it in all weathers and we use them hard most of the time 50-60 mph his is a little faster than mine his will do just over 60mph but he is a slim bloke re mpg he has just come back from whitby 2016 and used a tank of fuel each way 280 miles for £14 very good and as all the others were on scomadi 125s he was full out most of the time no problem so two years on from new only had to change a tyre due to it egging not normal wear.

The big difference is the engine management : for the LML it's a Dellorto 24 electronic carburetor more powerful than the Indian Spaco carb of the Vespa.

It's quite funny that the Indian motorcycle manufacturer uses an Italian carburator,
whereas the Italian manufacturer (who wanted to end the production back in 2007) is mounting an Indian carburator!

Due to having to wait 2 weeks more than the importers promised MotoGB very kindly lent me the red auto 125 used in this video and I can confirm with my 14 stone weight on it it goes up hills no problem sat naved at dead on 60mph on the motorway and out accelerate the new PX 125 easy also gives some of my m8s GTS 125s a run for there money up to 50 mph I have my own one now which pulls away even faster poss because I have for the first time in my life run one in but as it has a screen it tops out at 56 mph with me sat upright but this is the big difference with all the 2 strokes I have ever had it will hold this max speed for miles on end no problem or covering the clutch ( thats if I had one LOL ) and at this speed I get over 100 mpg
