You're correct. He hasn't toured with a fiddle player since he split with Pete Anderson & released Blame the Vain in 2005 and revamped his entire band.
He does tour with a fiddle player. The keyboard player does multiple duties... Keyboard, fiddle, steel guitar, accordion, and some percussion. He's a very talented musician. I just saw Dwight this week. He still has it. Best concert I've been to.

He does a DIP with his voice in the very first lines of the first verse - you gotta hear to believe!!
