  • Chas Mitton, a Mencap learning and development partner and active member of the CAPBS Coaches Network Community of Practice, says that there's a noticeable look on the faces of staff in a PBS-driven service, "an enthusiasm, a positivity in their approach to their work. There are many challenges in making change happen, but where staff are creative in their approach, curious as to what can make things better, you'll see progress. We've had many success stories in seeing how much of a difference introducing PBS can make in the lives of people being supported - it can be transformational."

Great thankyou ! PBS is definitely the right way to care for patients . It sets good practice and a positive proactive culture in healthcare settings . I definitely agree that great leadership is what’s needed to ensure patients are cared for in the most positive way and it gives staff the confidence and tools to support vulnerable patients in the best way possible and reduces the need for restraint significantly.

I noticed a massive difference in my support strategy after I did PBS training. Great video :)
