- How Fast Can You Complete The Professor Oak's Challenge in Pokemon Yellow Legacy???
In this video, i take on the Professor Oak's Challenge in the newly released Pokemon Yellow Legacy Romhack.
This romhack has loads of quality of life additions, but also changes the encounter tables for almost every single location, allowing you to catch more pokemon than the original Pokemon Yellow.
I wanted to see if these changes would make it easier or harder to complete the Professor Oak's challenge!

When I did this, evolving dratini to dragonair and then dragonite killed me
it's TOUGH. Respect to taking on the grind
I was surprised to see you put a Nidoran Male and Female in the route 23 grass, even though, in Firered and Leafgreen, you can't find them until after brock. I know you can in Gen 1, but the remakes don't have them there.

Game was great but I've never completed a Pokedex and won't start now haha. For yellow I always use mew and Gengar glitch. Alakazam was usually a must but this time I made room for other mons on my team like Pikachu haha

If you do the challenge on hard mode, you can go through each gym more quickly since you can’t over level
that defeats the purpose of the Professor Oaks Challenge, You have to evolve every pokemon before each gym so the level caps makes the challenge impossible

2:04 dont understand why you fooled with that kakuna when you couldve just evolved that weedle from the start and have a slight fighting chance rather than harden over and over
13:50 blacked out with those strong grinded Pokémon... ooops lol
In yellow legacy kakuna doesn’t just have harden like in og yellow
