We sat down with Imagineer Lanny Smoot, who helped bring to life experiences like the retractable lightsaber on the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser and Madame Leota's spooky séance room.

Cool but Disney, nor any company doesn't "needs a 'diverse' group" to do anything. Disney and every business, needs the Best people available. If you hire by "color," you get a colorful lunch room. If you hire by ability-you get a good or great company/products.

He said "Disney services a diverse group that comes to the parks and that's why they need a diverse group of people designing the things that go into the parks, toys." He is not wrong. And have some respect for one of the best inventors of our time.
