New sub here. I love your pantry. I've been working away trying to clean and organize my pantry, still have a ways to go. We've been "homesteading" for 35 years or so. Before it was a big thing. It's just a way of life. But I do have goats that I milk as well as gardening and canning, beef herd. It warms my heart to see younger people doing the same. I was thinking I'd do a pantry tour video once I'm done sorting and cleaning in there.
Love those rolling square buckets. I am sensitive to plastic, silicone etc so i always cover myy stuff in unbleached parchment paper-bad sensitivities here, but I love how those roll! That green is so pretty. Like your organization. Take care
You can can water in you empty jars, that way you have product in your jars. Then if you need it, you have sanitized water to drink, flush eyes or other wounds. Then if you need the jars you can empty water and aren’t throwing away food. You can use the water to can your next product as well so it isn’t being wasted either.
I love your pantry. I wish i had a place for one. I had to put a shelf in my dining room for my canned goods. Looks awful but you do what you gave to do.
I just found your channel and loved your pantry tour. Your pantry is gorgeous. I turned my walk-in closets in the pantries. 1 for paper goods and chemicals. 1 for canned goods and 1 for food. My tip for you, use a Magic Eraser to take those dates right off.
Enjoyed watching your videos and how you set up your pantry, I love canning myself for long term prep just a suggestion I have a plum tree strawberry and last year I bought at sprouts alot of cranberries I love them but not everyone does so I decided to make a mixed preserve, strawberry cranberry and 1 orange I did add sugar and pectin to this cooked preserve I used my potato masher and canned it use it on toast pancakes in the middle of a birthday cake or waffles ice-cream this is our favorite yummy recipe!
Great video, and I agree with others, its one of the most realistic pantry tours I have seen.. Thanks for sharing. ☺ Instead of leaving the Jars empty, fill them with water, that can be used if a power outage situation.. great for cleaning, flushing toilets and if you keep water purifying tablets, you can make the water "drinkable/cook-able" just a suggestion

How do you can your nopales ? Can you do a video couple of how you can your nopales and also recipes that you use the canned nopales in ? Love the rolling buckets ! Your elderberry juice 😍 never seen fresh elderberries. How do you make your own cranberry juice? How do you make your own apple cider vinegar? Which of your potatoes varieties keeps the best / longest ? How big is your garden to grow all of this ? I am trying to figure out how much land we need. Good 👍🏻😊tip on the marigolds How long does your lard keep in the earthenware?

Your pantry looks great! You’ve done a fantastic job. Question: have you had any issues with broken seals with stacking your jars? TFS your pantry tour!

I can hear you just fine. Nice video, great job. Beautiful strong work. Where do you get your bulk foods from? I love the big totes with the rollers for your flower and sugar. I already saw another comment where you said you got them off of Amazon so I’m gonna check them out. I see you’re a new channel. I can just tell you I like it when people post links in the description of things they might show in the video. I’m not criticizing your video in any way shape or form just a little friendly tidbit from someone who watches a lot of UA-cam videos lol good luck with your channel

Try using hand sanitizer on the marker that won’t come off the labels. I know it works on certain types of marker
@@zathras2010 I sure will!
I use fingernail polish remover and it even gets Sharpie marker off. (The one with acetone in it.)
