There is nothing more special than to have an amazing place like this all to yourself! I get that pleasure at Letchworth Park this time of year quite often, and I loose myself there. Great video, thanks for sharing it.

I can only imagine what that place would have looked like ? That scenery is really absolutely beautiful ! Makes me want to hike, camp, picnic, sketch, paint, photograph, hunt, fish, gather, and explore your area. I feel the presents of Native Americans living in that area long ago. This was fun. I recently found your channel, and i like your content. You seem very genuine, which is refreshing these days. I also appreciate your enthusiasm for even the less glamourous parts of the natural world. I hope you have a happy New Year and that 2025 is a good year for you.
Been there several times and done a little research into it. There were scattered mills including gunpowder mills in the area. Gunpowder manufacturing tended to be done away from populations because of accidental explosions.
Was just there a few weeks ago, we had the place all to ourselves also. Really fun hike. We crossed the stream with the cable too. Thanks for the video ❤
Hi Em! Really enjoyed the video. The Ridge is great! Closest thing to the Poconos you’ll find in Montgomery county. I spent so much time up there at a nearby sportsman’s club. My cousin and his wife live up there on Hill rd. (Very near where you were videoing). The boulders are so huge! It was private property when I lived there, so I’m glad to see it’s open for public exploration. Loved the spring too! Thanks for the video! Hope you have a great New Year! 🍾
Wow great journey 😊 imagine finding the trash dump for the foundation site and the bottles hidden in the ground $$$ thanks for allowing me to tag along
@PACreekWalker take a probe with you and check the area, most colonial ara homes burned the trash and threw the glass over a bank near by. Good luck and get a metal detector I bet the kids would love looking for treasure.
Cool scenery,me and my cousin was fishing one night and got caught in a bad thunderstorm and we had a cave like that to get shelter we built a fire and cooked some fish out of the river and fished all night,it was the best fishing trip I had ever been on till this day, funny thing is the fish weren't biting till a little after the storm hit and we both caught our limit that night pretty quick and then done catch and release the rest of the night,it was definitely a fun night it soon became our go to spot to fish, love your videos and the many places you go to and all the beautiful serene views and scenery keep exploring and be safe and have fun.

I feel your exuberance...very refreshing...not sure how much you know about the music of Neil Young....some refer to him as the Godfather of grunge....2 songs of his..."tonight's the night" and "after the gold rush" are 2 favorites. You have a very good sense of observation. It's a pleasure listening to you. I believe you are in Pennsylvania? May I suggest that you visit Ringing Rocks park one day? Oh, Happy New Year!
Oh my... That place is so special with so much going on, it just feels so out of place being located where it is. I have been exploring and documenting this location for awhile now but have been reluctant to give many details about it. The Diabase rocks are truly enormous and like you said, don't even fit into the frame of the camera. Every time I explore this area I find more and more amazing sites and points of interest! At 16:50... Just mind blowing shelter formation... If you would be interested in collaborating on a research project of all the small caves, possible Native Shelters, old foundations, and everything else to be found here please let me know! There is so much going on along that hillside it boggles the mind. I know many top Pennsylvania UA-camrs who would love to meetup and explore this location, its truly a special place.

I could not have left all those boulders and niches until dark, you have a lot of self control. Actually, if I got there and had any supplies I would probably end up just spending the night. Looks like you had plenty of water, that is a nice spring up on the mountain. Chestnut oaks must like eating rocks, that's the 2nd one I've seen in just the past little while. @PACreekWalker I remember reading in history books about the civil war I think you stumbled on fort Craig I think that pit was some kind of Garrison jail you might be able to be careful in some of those areas because there could be shells from the civil war that could still be live
