So, so happy you're okay! Praise God from whom all blessings flow. And you are certainly one of his blessings. Merry Christmas, Cowboy Kent and Shan and all the pups. ❤️💚❤️
Thanks so much and God bless you and Merry Christmas
@@CowboyKentRollins I would call them cheap crab cakes, the recipe I use for real Poor Man's crab cakes calls for using grated Zucchini instead of crab meat and I make large batches and fill cupcake or muffin pans and freeze them then drop them into ziplock bags for storage in my freezer. The muffin pans keep all at the same size and when you fry them up while frozen they brown up nice and stay somewhat soft in the center even if deep fried. I do the same with my salmon cakes and freeze a large batch for a later date.
@@CowboyKentRollins your ingredients for #CrabCakes at my grocery store come to $85.38, I didn’t buy the ingredients because I Couldn’t afford too. Y’all need to change the Title to (Rich Mans Crab Cakes) because us #PoorFolk can’t afford your Recipe!
@@CowboyKentRollins Mr Kent is tthat you above replying to my post ? I'm thinking that it isn't ....
Cowboy Kent is a national treasure and must be protected at all cost!
Not just "national" ! I've heard that the Louvre Museum had recently bought a portrait of Mr. Kent Rollins in order to hang it on the same wall than Mona Lisa. According to this rumor, it's a nice portrait painted with corn oil and a drop or two of Tabasco !
Absolutely!
@@koolmaaan evil will always focus destroying what's pure and good.
Cowboy Kent's a man among men, he doesn't need anybody to protect him. 😁
You guys are trying to make this cowboy into walker texas ranger or something lol
Chuck Norris he ain’t.
My Aunt is a nurse. Believe me when I say, Mr. Rollins, that your kind words definitely matter to them. 😊
So glad to hear it went well and you're doing better. Hope you continue to enjoy good health, good family, and great food.
They are great people they are
My favorite part of this is Shannon's heckling. Makes it feel like a real family experience.
Baron, Shannon doesn't get to eat!!!! What's up with that? I know she does after the filming but I want to see her enjoy at the time !!
Kent, my dad was an Okie from Eastern Oklahoma and he always called it "sal-mon". I had the salmon discussion with him several times as I grew up. His response was like yours. If the L was supposed to be silent it wouldn't be in there. Great job sir!!! 😃👍
And the Salmon Pronunciation wars began here
I'm from South Georgia. That's how I say it also. The correct way. Lol✌💜💜💜
I'm Alaskan Native and I'll tell you that "sal-mon" is the proper way to pronounce it but nobody will ever pronounce it that way.
Nearly all Americans except those down south-central USA say "sah-men" instead of the correct sal-mon.
I do myself say sah-men just because it's what I heard the most. But, I'd say it like a drunken Alaskan sailor/fisherman.
Mind you, I suspect he pronounced 'oil' like Kent does...'OL.' Can't have your cake and eat it too 😂
That makes sense, but there are a lot of words like that.
Mmmm... now I know what's on the ol' menu this weekend! More importantly, I'm incredibly happy to hear that you're doing well my friend! All the best to you and yours Kent!
Thank the lord Jesus for answering prayers! Glad you are feeling better and back at it Kent! I’ll continue to keep you in my prayers.
Kent, I consider you as our gift. Thank God for Kent Rollins.
I had never heard Worcestershire sauce as "where's your sister sauce" before a previous video of yours, I liked it so much then that I've adopted it myself and use it regularly. Glad you're doing well cowboy Kent and thanks for the new video
usually its WASH your sister sauce
Hey Kent, glad you made it through! We love and need these videos, thanks for hanging in there!
My daughter had 75 patients in one day this week!! Yes, they need our prayers & thanks!
Great folks they are, thanks for watching
Kent and Shannon, your production standards are amazing. The lighting, bokeh focus, sound, fun add ins etc. love to see you reinvesting in your business. It shows.
Ooh, I agree! I didn't know the bokeh focus until I read your comment. It's really nice.
I second the kudos on your production. Are you still shooting with an iPhone? Looks like you might have upgraded to a DSLR and some post-production color grading. Looks really good.
Notice the black crab had bigger claws? 😂
Glad you’re feeling better Cowboy Kent. Wednesdays wouldn’t be the same without you. I’m born and raised in Maryland and usually catching crabs with pots, close to lobster fishing. Merry Christmas to you and Shan and the pups.
I love some good crab cakes! This looks good Kent. I am so glad all our prayers were answered for your good health. Keep taking care of yourself. I know Shannon and the pups will take great care of you. Have a great day and God Bless!
Tippin' your hat for the Healthcare workers is AWESOME. And needed. Thanks for that AND for the recipe.
Absolutely Thank you to the health care workers!!!! I went through Cancer treatment last year, those folks who work taking care of those of us who have scarry health problems are special people!! THANK YOU!!
So glad you are doing well, and I pray you continue to do well, for yourself and Shannon.
I know, due to my husband's current health issues, it can be worse on those of us who LOVE the one with the health issue.
PS: I'm drooling with the beagle!!
I'm from Delaware and remember crab cakes 😋But I've been in Nevada 35+ years, although Nevada does boast fresh seafood, I'm over 250 miles from Vegas or Reno, so dishes like this really make my day!!!
Thank you, guys, for sharing, Prayers for you and Shannon continued good health!
GETTING OLD SUCKS!!!! I'm there too🤗
Happy that you are on the mend Kent. I hope the healing continues. As for Worcestershire sauce - you can drop the shire bit and just call it "Wuss-ter" sauce. That's how most people in the UK pronounce it.
Thanks that is easier to say
This recipe came along just in time. Was taking with some friends about these not too long ago and they were needing a recipe. So I sent them a the link to this. Blessing to you all! 😊
I'm glad your ablation went well. AFIB is nothing to mess with. It took a stroke to get me to find a doctor who would get serious about it. After three cardioversions and two ablations my finally back to normal. Thanks for this great video! I grew up in Maryland and living in Kansas now I really miss crab cakes. I'm going to try this recipe. Thanks for appreciating us veterans and God bless you.
*Thank God 🙏 for UA-cam, I've used UA-cam daily since 2007 & It still blows my mind how just a minute ago I was trying to find out if in cans of Pork & Beans really contain pieces off pork, and I never look or watch food or baking/cooking videos so once the results loaded and your video for your Pork & Beans recipe was number 1 and I just can't get over how many million plus sub channels are still out there that I know nothing about I just saw the other day that it would take a person 82 years to watch every single UA-cam video ever made watching non stop, but now after giving it a look I was having fun watching & getting into it especially the Wild Wild West theme so I subscribed & guess I decided to start watching food video now & looking I'm looking forward to it*
I make my poor man's crab cakes with fake crab and diced shrimp. You can also mince up some shrimp to add to the mix, to make the ingredients stick together better. Works nicely with the egg as cake glue. Also use a little panko breadcrumbs in the filling so I can control the flavor of the mix better. Panko doesn't have any flavor like regular breadcrumbs. Next time I make these, I'm going to add a can of minced crab to my mix. Thanks, Ken and Shannon, for another great video. BTW: I had ablation surgery in June 2020. Sounds like a scary procedure, but either I was going to die and go to Heaven, or I was going to survive. A win-win either way! ✝🙏🏻 So thankful to God that your procedure was successful also!!!
Thanks so much and God bless you and Merry Christmas
I cannot tell you how happy I am to see that you are up and putting out videos! I wish you, and Shan, and the Beag, and Maj, and Dukers, and Sadie a Merry Christmas!
Hope this means you're feeling well, Kent!!!
Boy ole Boy, God is great! Prayers have been answered from 1000’s of us and we’re all so glad you’re back with the whole gang. Still praying for you all and sending our love to y’all. Wish you made videos everyday but that would be such a hassle for you guys and no time for rest. We’ll settle for every now and again, definitely beats any news currently, plus you show dogs. God bless y’all, this great nation and those that payed the ultimate sacrifice along with their families on this day in 1941.
We owe them all so much for the sacrifices they made
Thank God for your recover! Stay strong. Thanks for the recipe .
So glad to hear about your recovery! God does answer prayers! Thank you for the blessings for us veterans and soldiers, the nurses and doctors and all others helping this country remain great. I have attempted some of your recipes from your videos, and just purchased your cookbook. I guess I just don't have the experience you do, but my cooking's not too bad. I wish you and all of yours a very merry Christmas and a happy new year!! Bless you and your family
So glad to see you back on that side of the camera as well! Thank you for everything that you do, we did all love and pray for you!
Bless you for all your videos. We just absolutely love you, your wife and puppers. So thankful, you're all well.
How does Cowboy Kent have time to make these videos when he's so busy being a KING? Love you brother!
Prayers sent up for you on a speedy recovery and feeling better Cowboy!
Thank you so much
Yum! I definitely have to make these soon. So glad you’re doing well after your operation. Keep up the good work. Sending love to you, Shan and the pups!
Absolutely love the music selections that go with the music video break montage on every single video you post.
Hey Kent glad you doing great, you and the family I can't wait to watch more of your wonderful content, I wish I found your channel long time ago my late father would love to watch your video and he once think about a food truck while back. It just brought joy to watch a cowboy making great meals just like my late father use to do all the time when he was a chef. Keep it up Kent and the rest of the family take care of this wonderful American treasure. Stay blessed peace and love.
Thanks so much and God bless you
I’m glad everything went well with the procedure! We appreciate everything that you do!!!

Hello how you doing today ?
I am so happy to see you healthy and sharing your wonderful show with us all
Another awesome video ! I'm so glad everything went well with your procedure, I can't wait for next week's video and shorts, and the new cookbook next year!
Loved everything about this video. The crab cakes looked GREAT! Enjoyed Shan's off camera comments and questions, and the "wandering crabs" she made for the video. Liked the "out takes" too. I am especially grateful that the operation went well and that you're feeling well. The Lord is Good!!
All the time, God bless you as well
Thank you soo very much for this recipe, Making it over the holidays!!! Very kind of you to recognize all our health care workers Not to mention that we're soo glad you're okay Nothing keeps a cowboy 🤠 down! 😊💕🐎
👍
So glad you are back! Praise God for allowing you more time with us.
So happy you have made it back and things are going well for you.
Thank for for your recognition of nurses and all healthcare workers. My late wife was a nurse and worked mostly the ER with a couple of stints in ICU, pediatrics and obstetrics. I think for a while she helped deliver half the kids in the we lived in. She specialized in pediatric traumatic treatment. She truly was an angel to so many where she worked.
Almost forgot my ditch beagle is doing fine and she's getting spoiled by my 91yo mom cooking chicken quarters for her and the other rescue and ditch pets we inherited through the rescue group we belong to and the ditch dogs that seem to be left off along the road and come to our homes. I have never obtained a pet from a store or breeder for over 40 years.
Best to you and yours, Kent, this Christmas and holiday season.
grew up on the eastern shore of maryland and still live near the headquarters of mccormick spices so im gonna pass on this recipe, i can make crab cakes in my sleep lol but your recent fried chicken breast recipe with the buttermilk has become a new staple in my house, thank you for upping my chicken game
My husband had an oblation in 2009. It was the freakiest thing he had ever experienced because he was awake for the entire thing, including when they stopped his heart and restarted it. I'm praying that yours is more successful than my husband. His failed after 2-3 years. Best wishes to you both.
@@loridennis2989 yes. He felt himself grey out. He said he could feel what he described as everything stopped circulating. He passed out and the next he was awake. They told him step by step as they were doing things, so they told him we're going to stop your heart now. They have to shock it back into the new rhythm. It was truly weird. It's become a joke, that time dad died.
Yes Lisa, my mother had to have them done every 3-5 years. But they did help her. Prayers for your husbands health.
Keeping you and your family in our prayers. Get better soon ❤❤❤
My dad always called Worcestershire sauce, "What's this here sauce"! Bless you brother, and hope you have a great cruise.
So glad you're feeling well Cowboy Kent. Best wishes to Shan, your good self and the pups. Not a fan of seafood myself, but i do like salmon ... pan fried, baked or whatever.
Love the recipes and stories. Looks like you guys upgraded your cameras and lighting. Looks great!
So good to see you back and healthy!
Well,Mr. Kent I prayed that your procedure would go well, and now I thank God that it did. I love watching your videos with my family, you are a good soul, and I am thankful for you. (And the pups, I collect rescue ,it’s like Shan does.)
Looks delicious. Glad you are well now. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Thanks Donna and Merry Christmas to you
Great job Kent and Shannon and the Beagle and his boys and girls. This was a good and fun video too. You could smell those crab cakes cooking in the neighborhood and folks a wondering where it was coming from. Sure was awesome back then. Gonna see if we can get back to that meal. Thanks for sharing and good to see you doing so good. Fred.
Thanks Fred so much
Glad you're on the mend and back to seeing to making great food. God bless you and Shannon and all the pups!
Thank God he was with you and helped you through it and healed you. Glad you are better. Thanks for sharing. Take care
You started to tell us of your secret dipping sauce. Our "poor man" cocktail sauce was about a 1/4 cup catsup (that's because cats enjoy catsup on their food so much) with a teaspoon of prepared horseradish. I'm not sure but you may know if horses do indeed like to eat horseradish.
Praise the Lord! I do appreciate what the nurses and medical support teams do!!! Thank them All. Glad you're doing well. Continued prayers for a full recovery. ✝️
I had an ablation in 2017. Still good. Glad to see you got through it ticketyboo! Crab cakes are fabulous thanks for this!!!!
So thankful that your procedure went well, looking forward to many more videos! Also, as a nurse I appreciate the shout out. God Bless!
Oh no! Turkey bacon, what a sin! Continued prayers for you good sir. Been here with you from the beginning. I greatly appreciate your channel. I'd love to cook with you sometime!
Thanks Roland so much
Wow the cinematography here is outstanding! And I’m so glad that Kent is doing well. You guys are so awesome thank you so much!
Thanks Eric, Shannon does such a great job
Bless you, sir, and all those around you. Love your content and your delivery.
Appreciate you Sir! Glad you are doing good and back cookin! Us folks down in the South pronounce every letter in salmon!! Me and the Misses love watching yall, so keep'em coming. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all!!!!!
My mom used to make crabless crab cakes using shredded zucchini squash. The old bay seasoning gave it flavor and the shredded squash looked like crab meat.
So freaking glad you're recovering so well. I know it can be tough having any kind of medical procedure done. But a real cowboy gets right back in the saddle and rides on!
Thanks
Glad to see you happy and Healty!!! Blessings from mexico
Good to see you looking well, the laughter along with caring for people, special ! Thank you.
Thank you kindly
Great to have you back!
“Don’t bite me… “. Famous last words
God bless y’all!

Yeehaw, glad you're back in the saddle and feeling like rounding everyone around the chuckwagon again. Ideal time for this recipe. Thank you so much. 💓
So happy to see you alive and kicking, Kent!
Glad your back Kent and all is well with y'all. 🤠
Welcome back. Happy to hear things are better. We have been praying for you both.
Thank you so much
Glad to see you happy and healthy Sir!
So good to see you. Thank the Lord. I'm one of those from the SE part of the US - Virginia born and raised. Duke's mayonnaise is KING - there is no other. Stay well and a very Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Kent I'm a native of Baltimore. Just a suggestion, we ALWAYS serve our crabcakes on saltine crackers. Try it, you'll be a believer. We used to catch blue channel crabs on a trot line in the bay using a trot line with stuff like chicken necks, parts etc. Some folks used crab traps, but we'dget a bushel a day. Either way, crab cakes are my fav.meal, with those onion burgers a clise second. Yeah I was stationed at Ft Sill a few years
Off the gulf coast of Texas some people will put their chicken-bits bait in pantyhose. The crabs will velcro onto it and have a hard time getting away, so you can just haul it in and pick them like fruit.
Kent, glad all went well with your procedure! Thank you for your great videos. God bless you and Shannon & all of the pups!!
Thanks so much Tim and God bless you as well
So glad to have you back Cowboy
Very happy that the procedure went well Kent!
Those crab cakes look delicious as well!
You're the best, Kent. Glad you're having so much success on here. Truly, you all deserve it. You all are like family.
Thanks and your family to us also
Good to see you back doing well after the cardiac ablation procedure. Merry Christmas and here’s to many more.
So good to see you back at it!
My sisters had a cardio ablation. She's doing well now. I'm glad to see that you are doing so well. The crab cakes look amazing. Thank you for sharing.
Glad to see you up
Glad everything went well sir! All the best from just on the other side of the river down south of y'all and thanks for the recipe! I think I know what I'm making this weekend.
Kent it's great that your procedure was a success!!!🙏 Prayer's are answered God listen's !! Kent and Shannon y'all will always be in my prayers!🙏🙏 Great holidays to you and of course.your pup's as well!!🐕🐕
We add jiffy cornbread mix instead of bread crumbs or some use half jiffy and half crumbs for salmon patties, mackerel patties, and crab patties here in West TN!
Glad you're back!
Thank the Lord that everything went well Mr. Rollins. So glad to have you guys back! Happy holidays from my family to yours.
Thanks so much Doug and Merry Christmas to you
First off sir, I am glad you made it through your procedure and you are back home with Shannon and your taste testers doing what you love to do. This recipe looks great and I cannot wait to try it. I really loved the Salmon patties recipe of yours so this one is next on my list. You take care of yourself and I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Thanks Jimmy so much, we hope you enjoy and Merry Christmas
We’d love to see Shannon come around and taste the food with Kent. Glad your back and feeling better.
So glad you are back on the camera!
Im so happy to see you back and looking great!!!!
Praying for you both continuously❤️
These crab cakes looks fantastic! I’ve got to try them!!
Hope you enjoy them Kathy and thanks for the prayers
Oh Kent! I’m gonna have these soon and often. Growing up Mama made a lot of SaLmon and tuna patties, I loved them every time. We dipped them in mustard most of the time. Later on I learned to really love crab cakes but have never tried to make them. I will now.
So glad you’re doing well after your procedure! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
So glad that you are feeling better.
Having only recently come upon your channel, my wife and I are hooked on your presentations and the dishes you cook. Glad to know you've come through your cardiac issues. May the good Lord bless you in your heart and with continued health.
Thank you both so much and God bless you
Thanks for the recipe. I can eat me some crab cake that's for sure. Sometimes the store has the canned on sale so I'll be sure to pick up some. And Merry Christmas and all the other holidays and holy days of the season. I'm 73 and l know that every day this side of the grass is a good one and a gift.
Kent, I'm glad you are alright, Hugs n love to you both, Always sending prayers for you
Thanks Susie so much
