Chess brings people together, I am an American and was traveling through budapest, I sat down to play an old man in the park for a few hours, after the game he gave me a tour of the city, teaching me how to get around on the trolly, took me to his favorite pub, and now we are friends, I go visit him almost every year. I've never played chess seriously. I know all the rules. I understand tactics. I only know one opening. I don't know any endgames. I never got out of the beginner stage, but I think I could. It sure would be fun to play against Anna, or Andrea Botez, or Alex Botez, and have them recognize you as a beginner or weak player, and help you through it, coaching you like you are a little kid.

That was such a cute video. Anna was so nice, and those people really nice too. It looked like they were all having a good time. Just a really positive vibe overall. She has a very cute and friendly personality, and the other people did too. I honestly wish more people were like that. Anna didn't go easy on her, but I think she could have played more aggressively if she was trying to win as fast as she could knowing her opponents strength, but she treated it like any other game and was trying to have fun too, which is good. I really liked the video though.
It's ok to be really good at chess and not tell your opponent. That would end the game before it even begins, even if your opponent doesn't have a chance. Then you miss talking to each other, making new friends and just being kind to each other. This game was more about learning about each other than it was about chess.
I wanted Anna to go with Q c3. It just seems a little more fun that Q f2. If I'm reading the situation correctly, the only move white has is R d1, after which Anna would take the Rook with her Queen, delivering checkmate on that side, or she could take the Rook with her Knight, and then move that Knight back, re-revealing the Queen check. I don't think there's anything White could do to defend against that other than stalling one move by giving away her Queen. I just thought it would have given the girl a little bit more chess. Give her a chance to fight off a check or two as a learning experience.
At which point? I assume you mean the final move, because it was Qxf2#. After Qc3+ the only move is Rd2, not Rd1 as you say (the rook is already on d1), after which Qxd2# is also checkmate (this is correct). So, a mate in 2 instead of a mate in 1. If Qc3+ Rd2 Nxd2 then white has Kd1. Of course the position is lost anyway, but the discovered check is not inevitable.
I'm not a chatty type but I appreciate an occasional chat with a stranger with similar interests. Sometimes it is extremely refreshing. It stays with you forever.

My brother is a semi-professional. He told me that a match against a beginner is not necessarily always easy or short because beginners play unconventionally and unpredictably and sometimes make moves that happen to be quite good.
My Brother was decent at chess. He quit asking me to play after I got the three or so move mate on him. It was a total accident for us both. He'd played into it perfectly and I was mildly shocked. That was my best and quickest win. (if ever lol) It was also my last game, and sixty year ago. We meet for lunch every week now and still don't compete on any level since that game. We know he'd beat me at everything again. 🙂

My brother is a semi-professional. He told me that a match against a beginner is not necessarily always easy or short because beginners play unconventionally and unpredictably and sometimes make moves that happen to be quite good.
My Brother was decent at chess. He quit asking me to play after I got the three or so move mate on him. It was a total accident for us both. He'd played into it perfectly and I was mildly shocked. That was my best and quickest win. (if ever lol) It was also my last game, and sixty year ago. We meet for lunch every week now and still don't compete on any level since that game. We know he'd beat me at everything again. 🙂
