Even though I'm a full color lover, I adore "neutral" shifty shades! My go to for the last few months has been cool toned neutral looks for every day. I'm sure you probably already know this, but the best way to capture multichrome shifts is by using multiple light sources! Oh & my all time favorite neutral multi is opulent from clionadh!*one light source per shift is my general rule of thumb! It can be a ring light, a sunlit window & a lamp all at the same time. Makes a huge difference
Thanks for the heads up! I do have a few different light sources from ring lights, but I feel like there is something that is still preventing me from capturing the full shifts. It may just be my camera quality, too.
The older I get, the more I love interesting neutrals. I just can’t be bothered to do elaborate eye looks these days, and my hubby prefers neutrals, so I find myself using them more. I save the color for when I go out with friends or for work😊
I do really like Shine by SD, Looxie, Pretties for your face, and even Devinah; but there is something a step up about Clionadh and Terra Moons. You can always tell when it is their shadow. Off the charts. I LOVE all of these videos. As a neutral lover, this series has been WONDERFUL and much appreciated. Thank you! BTW, what brand is Rockstar?
Clionadh and Terra Moons do have some very unique shadows! I definitely feel like I go back to the brands a fair amount. Also Rockstar is from Looxi :)
Fun video! Side note, I never understand when people say shades have a wet look on the eyes. I have some of those shades and never see it myself. It just looks sparkly, maybe metallic?
To me, a wet look is when it has a very intense shine but doesn't have a base nor color, so it resembles water because of the reflectivity with no base
@@TheEtherny I understand that in theory, but it never looks that way to me. But maybe it is because I rarely use skin color sparkly shades so having a base or not means that blue sparkles will never look naturally wet to me 😅
I think the way that I interpret "wet" looking shades is that something about the shine on them has the same consistency as water. So for me, when I get wet I feel like my skin has a slivery-ish shine and so any shades that have a really glossy look with that type of reflect remind me of literally being wet lol!
You make great videos. Thanks for all your indie brands you review. Even though I yet have got to try any but hopefully soon I'll get the chance to try some mulitichromes. I know looxi is cheaper but I really Wana try terra moons I guess many whenever they have a sale next which is only black friday that they do deals

Well I hope that some of these shades can be a nice compromise that still scratch your interest in color haha! :)
You have quickly become one of my favourite channels to watch!
Thank you so much!!

Wet means glossy looking. It has a certain shine to it, that looks almost like glass.

It was an amazing video!! Im a full on color junkie, but this list had some of my favourite shades in it!! Loved watching this edit 😍
I'm glad that you agree! 😊
I love watching these swatches. I’m not afraid to use color, but it’s really nice to see the versatility of the eyeshadows you feature.
I'm glad you've been enjoying it! :)

Thank you!! Terra Moons rocks but I agree with your sentiments on waiting for a sale, especially since they've raised prices!
Hi, please can you recommend a eyeshadow palette with this kind of eyeshadow?
I would appreciate a lot. Love your collection
I think I’m in love with Everest. I’ve never tried Shine by SD and was curious what are the dupes for it?
Copacetic Cosmetics has an exact dupe! I believe it's called Uncharted.
Oh, and yes the white background does seem to.allow the shades to pop more. Good move!
I'm glad it worked well!
