I agree Sugar Drizzle is an amazing, affordable indie brand. I also adore Unearthly Cosmetics! I had to restrain myself and only buy the "Warms My Blood" palette during the Halloween releases!
My faves are glamlite, Sydney Grace and Kaleidos. I love Kaleidos shimmers so much. Brands you should try- sugar drizzle or itsbelcosmetics of course, Glaminatrix- nearly neutral and I just tried gloss Gods Vintage Glam and absolutely love their shimmer formula too!
I don't have many indie palettes but the two I have are great which is Blend Bunny Dollhouse palette and Adept Cosmetics Plain Jane Remastered palette!
From what I have, my favorites are Kaleidos Cold Brew for a quick everyday look, the Blend Bunny All done up for everyday looks as well, and my BH Cosmetics Naughty palette. I enjoy my Unearthly all I ever wanted Vol 1 a lot too, even though not every shadow in it is amazing, a lot them are. Sydney grace Enduring love is beautiful for everyday looks too, but I do put the metallics on top of their cream shadows, because they can tend to fade a bit too much for my liking. On top of their cream shadows they stay put way better. Thats it!. My favorite palette, no 1 would be the Blend Bunny all done up. But If i had more Kaleidos palettes they might Knock it off. I just have one Kaleidos palette.
I just bought the Danessa Myricks Vol.III on Beauty Bay (while picking up some goodies for 1/2 off) and I was stunned! It is absolutely gorgeous, way more impactful and stunning than I expected! I am do glad I took a chance and bought it!! P.S. I have a lot of indie brands that I LOVE, but I agree the Lightworks palette is unlike any of my other shadows!
Right now the Metropolis is on a baby sale. It is only 20% off for $103.20. Other less popular palettes or older palettes are more heavily discounted. Perhaps it will be discounted more on Cyber Monday.
Unearthly cosmetics eyeshadow pans are way way too big! when you have a sizable collection and most people do when they're shopping Indi you really have to think about if you already have the shades are you going to use it the pan size and shape you really start to nitpick because when you have dozens to hundreds of other eyeshadow palettes you don't really need anything so it has to be really unique and for me unearthly is just not there.
They sadly seem to be a hit or miss brand.. I bought their Costa Rica palette they launched in August & it's excellent 👌 I do think they've improved with time though.

Sidney Grace, Notoriously Morbid, Terra Moon, Looxi, J*, Melt, Cliondah, Oden's eye are my favorite indie eyeshadows.

I got the Alter Ego Artemis palette but didn't love it so I ended up buying the Metropolis last year on sale and absolutely no regrets
I want the new Danessa Myricks palette for $125 as well Im praying it goes on sale on Sephora so I can afford it with giftcards

I have 4 Nomad palettes and I won't buy anymore. Don't like the quality. Sorry I feel terrible saything that.
I bought the Berlin and Cartagena and poor quality and I will not buy anything again from Nomad also.
