    Honest comments. They are true. I have experienced them. And people on both sides will benefit from your review. But just to note: one good thing about Malaysia is that it has much much to offer to those who love nature and the outdoors. These people may not find themselves in the context you enumerated between the two countries. People who love the outdoors typically do not spend time inside buildings, let alone broken down ones. They also don't care much about dirt everywhere. And they eat whatever they can get their mouths on by the river or the mountain. I have such friends. Also, I think that many other Singaporeans do not mind those things which are old and rustic because they can be nostalgic. Perhaps they are reminded of their childhood and they don't want these things to change. These are the one who love eating by the street corners and they will live with flies circling above their meals, which adds on to their buying experience.. And the "tidak apa" behaviour is what some Singaporeans visit Malaysia for because this means that Malaysians make time for people to be kind and friendly. We tend to look at surfaces and physical comfort as a measure of monetary success. However, what make good people are things which do not glitter. So, I think Malaysia is just find on her own. Just my personal views. Great video, though. Keep it up!

    For the maintenance of the condo, I agree with you. Probably due to Malaysia doesn’t have Strata Titles Boards to monitor the MCSTs of condos. For example, although R & F Princess Cove development, 富力公主湾is less than 3 years old, many external finishing already deteriorated.

    In Singapore, the best steak should be A5 from Japan. Probably S$220-250 per kg (will be more expensive if you buy from NTUC FairPrice), A5 from Australia probably is S$160 per kg.

    I visited KL recently. Pavilion and TRX are very nice. KLCC looks very old. Paragon, Singapore is slight better than KLCC but not as good as Pavilion and TRX. However, I think, 10 years later, Paragon Singapore should look better than Pavilion and TRX. 😂

    S'pore's PAP govt is ranked the most effective in the world, and s'pore's civil service is ranked the best in the world. Employment rate in s'pore is consistently high and a recent report shows household income exceeds expenditure. Those that are jobless or retrenched are reemployed through the support of the various govt agencies. This is a wonderful s'pore!❤❤

    • @corporatebreakoutcouple
      @corporatebreakoutcouple  День тому +2

      Great question!
      For Australia's case, the standard of living is also high.
      They are able to get on by just fine on their local produce, they are also able to lower their cost of living by relocating to cheaper states /rural areas (we have a friend living in Agnes Waters. It's a small community that sometimes still practices barter trades).
      They have a balance of healthy work boundaries.
      No wonder a lot of people migrated to Australia.
      That being said, no country is perfect.

    Singaporeans will find RM35 blue berries and RM800 steaks for 8 super cheap/ That is why many Singaporeans find Malaysia better. For outdoor activities, Singaporean prefers Japan, Australia, Switzerland, NZ, Taiwan and many more. Malaysians usually go nearby or hardly travel out. Whenever I go traveling with my Malaysian friends, I have to be price conscious. e.g. when we travel to Australia, one nasi lemark cost about AUD 15, that is about SGD13 but RM42. I think many Singaporeans find Malaysia good because they always go for the expensive options and on the other hand, Malaysian find Singapore not as good because they usually choose the cheaper options.

      @@renaturerelaxationchannel4800 it's ridiculous to purchase RM35 blueberry when you can get 2 punnets for SGD12
      And for the steaks, why you want to eat lower quality steaks at a higher price?
      Hawker food in Malaysia yes, much cheaper but doesn't mean quality ingredients. Chinese restaurant yes, Malaysia better.
      But western food, cafe etc etc
      Not necessarily.

      @corporatebreakoutcouple true for the examples you quoted. But things such as driving a luxury car, spa/massages, hair salon, facial, live fresh seafood, etc also improves your standard of living and are significantly more affordable in Malaysia when you compare in absolute terms without accounting for purchasing power.

    • @corporatebreakoutcouple
      @corporatebreakoutcouple  18 годин тому +1

      @evoxpress
      Driving a luxury car, getting massages or facial, mani pedi will not increase your standard of living in a country because these things are exactly the same in Malaysia or Singapore, if you remove the purchasing power.
      Standard of living means that if you live in Malaysia and walk on the streets, will you see dog poo or cow poo and affect your sense of comfort? It means going to a public toilet or using public facilities and having them work. It means going into a building and not having to encounter broken equipment or water cuts or electricity cuts. It means not seeing litter all over the place. We can cite many more examples. Standard of living is best felt as an experience when one lives in a place and really experience it for yourself.
      What you are referring to is the difference in the cost of living as you get better bang for your buck as a Singaporean going over to Malaysia to spend money.
      This only holds true for Singaporeans spending SGD in Malaysia.
      Cost of living in Malaysia for Malaysians is actually high.
      Feel free to check out our other videos where we compare RM5k and SGD5k where one lives in Malaysia and earns RM5k versus someone who lives in Singapore and earns SGD5k

      Standard of living doesn't matter the size of country.
      Tidak apa attitude is not kept to land size. Cleanliness and upkeep of a building or streets is also not due to land size.
      Civic mindedness and social responsibility is also not due to how large a country is.
      Quality living is not calculated by country size.

    I’m not sure which apartments or condos you’ve been staying at, but most of the condos we live in here in KL are well-maintained, including the gym equipment. It’s surprising to hear you say otherwise unless it’s the lower to mid class condos. Again, it all falls back to the building managwmnt. In areas like Mont Kiara and Petaling Jaya, particularly the medium to upper-class condos, the maintenance is generally very good. If budget allows, you can choose to stay in one of these better-maintained condos.

    • @corporatebreakoutcouple

      @@nashpal1 Yes, building management overall in Malaysia is lower compared to Singapore.
      We have easily stayed in over 30 Airbnbs in Ipoh, KL, Malacca, JB, Pahang, Kuantan, Perlis, Kedah, Penang and semua saja lah. More misses than hits. We are not taking a cheap shot at Malaysia, just laying out what our experience has been.
      Perhaps the luxury condos in KL do not allow Airbnbs so we never got the opportunity to stay in them
      However we have stayed with friends in their condos in KL (expensive ones) and the quality of workmanship, the car park area all cannot compare to Singapore.
      We are also real estate investors and we've seen our fair share of real estate in both Singapore and Malaysia.

      I love my country Singapore and I like Malaysia too. It's nice for holiday unfortunately not for living as quality is not as good as what I have been enjoying in Europe. Beautiful weather and landscape and georgous big house with gardens of plenty of fruit trees. So relaxing. It's Quality of life is way above singapore and Malaysia put together as these 2 countries have only mostly malls. The People only talk food basically.
