Regrettably, a very realistic representation of a "forgotten" aircraft. Often aircraft in the exterior of so-called museums are in such a pathetic condition.

I'm glad you found it realistic but who knows what happened there or when and where "there" actually is. 🤔 Thanks for watching and for the comment. 😉

    Salut și La Mulți Ani!
It seems that I have missed this episode...
An old kit for an ancient plane.
A good exercise for a newer one, I hope! 🙂

Looks fantastic! Kudos for putting Polish insignias the correct way 😎👍 In the early 90s they have started painting them flipped 90° clockwise, however the plane is from the communists era which means the way you put them on is right on the money 😎👍

That is a lovely build. I am building same kit at the moment. Can you tell me, does this kit need any nose weight? Cheers, subscribed 👍

I loved every second of it! What a cool project. Regarding the primer. I have that one as well, but do you use it straight from the bottle as advertised? It clogs up my airbrush very often that it becomes annoying to use. That’s why I switched to mr finishing surfacer...but I liked that it was acrylic and straight from the bottle

    • @SpruesToScale

There is no way I use One Shot straight from the bottle. It clogs very fast. I think i thinned it with X-20A and water for this build but i'm always experimenting and changing ratio even while painting. That's why i never specify ratios in my vids. I tend to switch between Mr. Surfacer and One Shot but I use a "sacrificial" airbrush for Surfacer. I recently bought the Vallejo acrylic Surface Primer gloss-let's see how that goes🤞. For the longest time i used no primer and never had issues with paint peeling or stuff like that and i used to spray Revell Aqua, thinned with their own thinner, straight on plastic-makes you think 😉 Thanks for watching!

@@SpruesToScale hey thanks for the reply and explanation. Ahh so you thin it with x20A. I will try it! Wow revell aqua and airbrush?? That is even worse with clogging up my airbrush. Did it a couple of times and really hated it. Also used their thinner for it. I am also gonna try the spraycan surfacer primer. Just to see the result.

@@ramtin-s8722 like i said I THINK i used x20A. It DEFINITELY wasn't straight from the bottle. I do make a lot of adjustments on the fly. Just experiment on some junk plastic and please let me know how it goes for you. Some Revell paints work well with airbrush and thinned with X20A -even better. If you're talking about the Revell spray can primer-don't bother. I haven't tried other brands. Cheers.

Plus za SZACHOWNICĘ, szkoda że tak go postarzałeś.... W Krakowie jest w lepszym stanie => ale nie jest to standardem w polskich muzeach pod chmurką.

Hey Adam, thanks for the comment. It was a cheap kit so one can afford to depart from reality a bit and just let the imagination run wild. It is a bit weathered but who knows what happened to it and for how long it's been sitting there. It's definitely not meant to be a reflection of the state of the planes in Polish museums. 😉
