This is fantastic; an excellent piece of work! If she wasn’t so tatty and worn, she’d be as pretty as a cherry blossom..... My one suggestion? Make more! 👍🏻👌🏻👏🏻
I love these old Zeke kits from Tamiya.. very cheap and good parts fit. Fantastic miniature and great seatbelts effect. One thing - in my opinion landing gear bays are too clean. Congrats :)
When l was very young my daddy showed me how build a zero l think ot was a monogram kit. It was yellow polystrene. He must have bought out some store l learned how to do it by assembling many f100’s and 707’s airliners. They came in plastic bags. Glued them up and of course blew a lot of rhem up with firecrackers
Your first attempt on seatbelt was better than mine :) my second attempt I just went with photo etch lol... What was the light green oil wash you used. I really liked the way that looked. I thought the whole build turned out pretty amazing.
Wow! Awesome build! Loved the part making the safety belts...tried it myself on Spitfire in 1/32 and it's definitely worth the time that goes into fiddling with those tiny parts. Keep up the great work!
Salut. Thanks for watching. I'll have to make some more for my upcoming builds and hope to have them looking closer to the ones in MM Scale Models' tutorial. Still some work to be done.
@@SpruesToScale Have you tried or thought of trying the seatbelts from HGW? After fiddling with the ones for the Spitfire, I gave those a try too for a Hawker Tempest and was not disappointed.
Hey Kendell. Thanks for watching. I did a silver base layer and then mixed A.Mig 196 Warhead Metallic Blue with a bit of A. Mig 52 Deep Green and A. Mig Transparator so the silver shows through. I kinda eye balled the ratios. Whatever looks right.
Wow excellent build and paintwork on an old kit 👌 👍👍

Older kits make for good test beds.
But you also gave to this one a fighting chance! 🙂
High praise. I did my best. Mersi. 😁

It really was great to build. Almost no filler. The landing gear bays can be easily fixed with some oil wash. Thanks for watching. 👍
Super job, well done.

Thamks. For washes i used some cheap oil paint thinned with turpentine.
