Usually large tuna or bill fish far offshore and in remote areas. Its not uncommon for party boats (group fishing charters) to motor overnight to chase quality fish.
@eSysman Superyatchs • Thanks for showing us this gorgeous vessel. She is impressive from the side, front and stern. I hope the designer wins an award.
I won't disagree, but the Bertram 60 is possibly the greatest sport fishing boat ever made. I'm a sailor these days, but back in the day that boat had my heart.
A couple years ago I clicked on several clickbait pics/links of 'biggest yacht in the world' and seeing all these outlandish pictures/drawings, I said to myself 'there's no way yachts are that big, seriously, c'mon people'. That's when I YT'd things and ran across this channel. Unbelievable that yes, yachts ARE that big, are getting bigger, and the clickbait pics/drawings weren't out of line. It still blows my mind the size of some of these boats! Dilbar and Flying Fox are still my favorites :)
I too love "Flying Fox"! Check out "Senses", "OCTO", "Tranquility" and "Le Grand Bleu". Those are my personal favs! I think you'll love them. Two are Explorer Yachts, and two are "white boats" like Dilbar and FF. Enjoy!

That boat is AWESOME ++++++ ,I see it now strapped in the chair with a monster blue marlin on the hook. Three Miss Universe runner ups next to me one watering my reel another wiping my forehead and the other holding my martini, shaken not stirred.
I won't make many friends here on this channel by saying this.... but in my opinion, it's an ungainly vessel. Huge expense does not necessarily translate to grace or finesse. In a way, it's almost as if the owner told the design team: "I want it to be the biggest, longest fishing boat money can buy (but lets call it a fishing yacht), it's got to have the pointiest bow ever, and it has to be second to none in height. O, and I want a fast lift to get me and my buddies up there."
That was a total WTF when I first saw it, but it kinda grew on me as the presentation went on. I certainly want to know more about it. I'd pay money to see a walkhrough.
Looks like a super-sized Viking brand sport fisher! Nice! But I think it maybe kinda rocky if you are chilling waiting for a fish to be reeled in if you are on the top deck! No amount of stabilizers will help you much there.
This is a MY definitely aimed at the USA's market. Now that they can't sell to their estimated russian clients, they're looking for other markets. No doubt. Nice little video 👍🏻
Would be interesting to see the metacentric height values for this craft and whether there are passenger number limits for the top deck. Might be quite a heal angle and worsened in a swell or when the vessel is say moving/cornering.
That’s was my first thought, like man Jordan has one of the biggest Vikings. Who is trying to up him. 20knots in revers if it can has to be crazy power
I appreciate distinctive yachts like this, designs which are more than minor variations of a handful of near standard styles, even when they aren't to my taste.
Huisman has basically evolved from being "the go-to-shipyard for full-custom mega sailing yachts" to become "the go-to-shipyard for extraordinary concepts in the yachting industry" now building projects like this one which many other shipyards would decline.
You got that right, a family member of ours had a good job while I was growing up who always had beater cars, would sweat through heat waves not using A/C or have his house painted and would yell at my kid trying to cut the grass like I told him to and I'd take care of him, he just passed, the inside looked like a hoarders of the depression, left each family and friend $10K then donated $1Mil + to city youth sports, we all said who knew, you never know. The kids are better off, R.I.P. Billy 🏌🤸♂
Regarding the high superstructure, I wonder whether the yacht has to struggle with a center of gravity that is much too high. It's probably just a toy for nice weather

I can imagine that the absolutely vital communications between the deckhands and the captain would be significantly impaired on such a large boat without a wireless communication system.
That is why it has wireless coms + multiple control stations. you can see it in the video, a large one on the second highest level facing forward and a smaller one for fishing operations on the highest deck facing to the rear.
I mean cool ship, I’d definitely fish on it but seems like convenient way to get a yacht while having a massive write off considered a “commercial fishing vessel”
Lets put it this way: you can fit a very respectable sportfishingboat inside of the fishcockpit. The reason for one is also because of the under-deck equipment and having a chair on a hatch isn't too convenient. My own boat (including outboard) fits 5 times in the fishcockpit.
Did you know that the British spelled and pronounced the word the same way until the early 1900s? A new British dictionary came out spelling the word differently. So the British changed.
Quint finally got a bigger boat... 🦈
What are they fishing for a megladon?
Exactly what I was wondering lol!!!
More like blue whales!
If you have that much mony, you usually just go fishing for the Halibut.
Sperm whates..........uses giant squid for the bait.

Hahahahaha yeah reasonably affordable my a$$. That's funny
Especially considering all the fish you would catch. I call it a money maker!

Roll-induced sway on the upper deck in a seaway should be interesting.
Roll won’t be a problem, she’ll be gyro stabilised
@@Smokeyr67 Not when she is stationary or trolling slowly, which is most of the time when fishing. No forward speed equals no flow over stailisers.

Wonder how many gallons a minute it burns?
A yacht that tall is it stable in the waves and storm?
Or does it get the same fate than the "Wasa"?
