  • Welcome to my UA-cam channel where I post random videos of things I've created from month to month! This video was created for my segment in Guitar Techniques Magazine Issue GT359 (Spring 2024). In this issue I prepared Franz Schubert's evocative Ständchen which means serenade. The tuning for this is DGDGBE which gives it a satisfying open and resonant tone to suite the characteristic of a serenade. Enjoy!

      I’m with you on that - sadly a deadline got the better of me this time - these go out on GT Mag each month so its always a bit frantic getting it all written and learned in time for a pre-deadline recording! Definitely planning to do a re-record of this at some point later down the line so thanks for reaffirming my desire to do so! Cheers!👍
