La Cumparsita arranged for solo guitar

Welcome to my UA-cam channel where I post random videos of things I've created from month to month! This video was created for my segment in Guitar Techniques Magazine Issue GT350 (Aug 2023) where once a month I arrange a piece of music for Classical Guitar. This month I have prepared the famous Tango La Cumparsita by Gerardo Matos Rodríguez. Originally written as a march (hence the title which translates as "processional march") I have tried to incorporate both the tango and march styles in this arrangement.

Hermoso, cuánto hacía que no la escuchaba. Creo que fue cuando tenía 18 años y tocaba la guitarra. Ya tengo 60 años y me gustaría volver a tocar la. Pero ya todo cambió bastante. No me acuerdo y los dedos y la memoria no es igual. Pero hay que probar y que salga algo parecido y se me va a caer un lagrimon . 👏💪👍♥️
