This is a great song for a beginner just looking to learn the fundamentals of guitar.
Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh, yeah.
@@tjyoung8069 mmmhmmm...yep...
My teacher taught me this song on the second day.
@@davemenard5089 That didn’t happen.
@@danielhall7996 It absolutely did happen. XD
Man, I could listen to Brent Mason play all day long. What a fantastic talent. He is truly my "country" guitar playing hero. When he and Johnny Hiland get together it's pure fire.
This guy is an amazing player, studio musicians are the backbone of music and can outplay most so called guitar gods
Because studio musicians are the real guitar gods!
One of the greatest guitarists of all time! Thanks Brent Mason, for being an inspiration and not an a-hole!!!
Such an unassuming personality. Never lets on to his ferocity. His toolbox is never empty.
He's an encyclopedia of licks, riffs, bends, syncopation, melodies, etc. Your gonna learn something listening/watching this guy!
Finally, a camera that doesn't shoot the drummer when the guitar player is taking a solo! Love the jazz sounding chords and return to the country feel! Great yob!
Brent Mason is my hero. #COSMICCOUNTRY
Your video with this guitar was very cool! Very nice playing. And nice B bending for a guy that didn't own a bender guitar!
Not exactly so bad yourself !!
Brent Mason is my guitar hero too. Brent has spawned so many imitators that it’s too numerous to mention. And I can’t wait to receive this guitar. But like many that have ordered them it’s been a long wait. But it’s worth waiting for.
Brent's playing is always jaw-dropping but so is that RHYTHM SECTION!!!!
The best in the business.
Sick, sick, sick guitar playing.
No matter how good of a guitarist you are, there’s always Brent Mason.
I am comred from tamil
Oiiiiiif
Brent is without question, my all-time favorite guitarist. I learned of him in the 90s when he was creating all those signature hit country licks.
I prefer Hendrix
@@julp8728 That's certainly your prerogative. However, Hendrix certainly couldn't touch Brent when playing country or jazz. And Brent would give him a run for his money playing blues. But it's not a contest and your preference is valid.
This guy is brilliant!!!!!!!£
Brent's an amazing player and happens to be a great guy and friend who was very kind to me when I lived in Nashville!! Actually gave me a PRS Brent Mason model which has become my #1!!! He deserves this honor from Fender!!!
Came here from insta. So glad I did. Jesus H Christ best 18 minutes of my life
EXACTLY
Me too!
Lonnie! He's my favorite Nashville session drummer. Great player!
Oh My! Brent is such an incredible player. Most players are very locked in to their style, but not him. Pick a musical genre and he’ll have you shaking your head! One of the very best musicians I’ve ever seen or heard.
Got to Pick me up a Brent Mason telecaster soon .
To be successful at anything you gotta become a nerd at it. Whether that is music, or computers or whatever. Nerds are masters of their craft.
Brent changed the way I play guitar starting in 1992. Huge fan. Got one of his new Signature Tele’s this past Friday and love it! I’ve been waiting on this for years! Well done Fender and Brent!!
The man!!! Thank you Fender for finally working with Brent. Just when I had almost given up on new Fender, you have redeemed yourself.
Best sales pitch ever. What a legend. My favorite player!
The last tune, My Little Ballerina, I used for a slide presentation for my daughters dedication 3 years ago when she was a bub. Almost 5 now, time flies. Currently paying off one of these teles, can't wait to get it home and lock myself in a room for 6 hours or more...
Wow! Just wow! Best, most “exciting” country guitar player since Albert Lee. What a wonderful introduction to Brent Mason. Beyond cool! 🙏
Yes! Albert Lee was a freaking monster and ol' Bret is certainly no slouch. He has a lot of Albert's phrasing but also incorporates so many styles. Bebop, jazz, rock, blues, reggae- he's got a taste of all of it in his brand of country. An amazing player. He's one of those guys like Scotty Anderson- every time he picks up a guitar he blows your mind.
The TONE! From the first note to the last... Great tone. Then. The very last note of the video. Sublime.
Matteo Mancuso brought me here. He did a cover of some lightning fast solo and I had to hear who this came from. I’m just as impressed seeing the original.
Moi aussi!
Sir a Deep Respect and Honour to Your Parents and GrandParents who have influenced you to play Guitar from Such a Tender Age and who's Blesssings are with You and Your Blessed Talent. Sir, I just like to Say you played the Best Blues and Country Rock Combination on your Fender Telecaster. Thank you Sir, From the Core of My Heart. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
I never miss great bass play.... Brent as always; tops. Thanks!
Awesome playing ... the whole band sounds great . 🎸🎸🥁🎶🎶🎶👏🏽
My favorite guitar player right there. I been listening to his stuff since early 90s and still do to this day. What a great musician.

Oiiñoñ
He’s up there for me too. I’m unable to actually rank them anymore. I just have a personal top tier player “list”. Brent Mason definitely on it. Neon Moon is one of my all times favorite songs ever. Of any genre. The guitar work and other instrumentation is just perfect for me. Lot of the Alan Jackson stuff too. Just killer playing .
Brent Mason is a BEAST...with a KILLER GUITAR !
Smokin!
I've studied Brent since he came to Nashville, I was very young at that time he was and still is the best they got , not knocking all the youngsters, just giving the man his dues.great video thank you and God bless
I will always say that Brent Mason is the best overall guitarist in the world. These other two playing are world class players which is obviously heard. Awesome video and yes your guitar is piece of history. Too the best!!! Thank you for this video.
Not to disagree but you should also check out Tom Bukovac if you dont know him already. He's another incredibly versatile Nashville session guy
@@khktgnk57 there are so many great and awesome players, IMO Brent is the best all around player for sessions. I can’t stress enough how many aweeeeeeeeeee players are out there!!!
Really cool to hear Brent tell his story! He's definitely one of the best to ever do it! Really cool, thanks, Fender.
Brent, Pete Anderson, and Eddie Perez deserve more attention.
I'd pay 75 bucks to see this trio on a theater tour any day of the week
Saw these guys at 3rd and Lindsley, July 2019. Only 30.00
Halleluja 🎶🎶🎸 this is heaven 🙏💝🎶🎸
Sounds great Brent!
Totally off the chain!!!
I knew of him before and heard some of his recordings but holy moly.... he is one hell of a guitar player!! The whole band was cooking !! Love that style of playing too.
He is the best - period
Can’t get enough of that Hot Tele Sh*t! He is the king 👑 of country guitar, with a catalog so deep, I’ll be learning his solos til I’m old and grey. A true treasure here in Nashville!
Thanks Brent i enjoyed this
Man, Brent deserves all his accolades, but let's talk about that badass, bass player who absolutely killed it in the 2nd song. Being a bass player myself, and I'm no slouch, but I grew up playing primarily rock, blues, r&b, when people start throwing down the jazz licks I tend to get a little punch drunk. But this was something else, I stayed for the whole thing!!
Phenomenal! Amazing guitar playing to you all.All those years of you all fiddlin around paid off. Happy day to ya! Take care. Best of love to you and your families.
One of my favorite players and one of my favorite guitar evolution stories! Joe Glaser is an old friend of mine and he introduced me to Brent decades ago! I’ve listened to both of them talk about this guitar and it made me so happy when Fender decided to build this guitar and honor Brent correctly! I played one yesterday and it is a phenomenal instrument!!! Kudos to everyone involved!!!
A barn burner, fantastic
Just mind blowing musicianship
Brent redefined guitar for me many years ago and still it’s just like seeing for the first time........ at last fender thank you
A true “players player” In every sense of the word.
Wish every metalhead & shredder were made to play with an undistorted sound & learn some chops like these!!
This video is just so inspirational for some reason. I keep coming back.
OUTSTANDING video, FENDER! Boy have things changed on this channel from a few years ago. This is a really good look at Mr. Mason, who has been killing it in Nashville forever. Such a great, talented player. Beautiful studio, beautiful playing.
i don't really like country but i could listen to this kind of picking all day.
I love Brent's guitar tone, just sounds so beautiful and so precise for every song he plays.
This guitar is a game changer...it’s more than a signature model..has all the bells and whistles you could ever need!
Brent is a badass he has never been a a-hole to anyone and he gives 100 percent stand up guy . Amazing rare talent he and his brother Randy are top notch musicians!!! What a fitting and humble innovator to have his own signature guitar . Well deserved glad they chose Brent . Thank you fender great choice.
Baba, you’re absolutely right! I had the enormous and unexpected pleasure to meet Brent after one of his shows a few months back. He’s obviously a monster player but also such a down to earth person, too. So refreshing!
What a great guitar player he is....!
Thanks for all the licks over the years Brent....!!!
Cheers
This video is nothing but raw talent and skill on all levels!!
The GOD of guitars right there!!!☝️💯💯💯
Country isn’t my thing, but damn. A great musician will rock your socks off, no matter the genre. Brent just gained a new fan.
Why would anyone dislike this? Brent is such a phenomenal player that is honestly under recognized. It's about time he gets some shine for his sheer skill and ability to hop around different genres and do them justice. A true virtuoso! Well done Fender and Brent, cheers!
My favourite guitarist by a mile, been listening to this guy since the 90s, influenced my playing and ordered today the signiture can't wait to get to it.
Fender finally made an artist model worth something!
Brad Paisley’s signature Tele is great one too. I’m sure his new Esquire signature will be just as amazing.
Fender are lucky having this guy on side. He’s the messiah of the Telecaster.
No one has the application for what this man can bring to the Game ! Thanks Brett
Jimmy Carter...WOW!
What an absolute guitar legend! So good! And the guitar looks so cool!
It's not Rock, it's not Jazz, it's not Blues, it's not Country...it's called Music! And Brent Mason plays Music (with a capital "M"). Mr. Mason, you are my hero, and I will get that guitar!!! 😊
If Eddie Van Halen played country guitar it would be like this. 👏🎶🗽
The best. Period.
Is everyone just going to ignore that bassist just murdering it? Dude is awesome.
Agree! 👍🤟✌️👌
Train on a rail
I agree buddy. The bass and the drums are both amazing too but this particular video is talking about Brent and his new guitar.
I thought we were supposed to ignore the bass player.🤣
To the contrary, I was just about to send this video link to my brother so he could hear the bass player.
One of the best of best in the world. His creativity in the studio is amazing!!
the b-bender story brought this to mind: some time back I saw a video, where Rodney Crowell was saying, way back when, he was playing live with Vince Gill and decided to pick up Vince's guitar and started pulling the neck down trying to get the b-bender to work only to find it didn't have one.
Rodney couldn't believe how accurate Vince's bends were, he always thought he was using a b-bender.
I didn't want this video to end.
This was fantastic. Brent's a legend and seems like a great guy to boot. Loved those live sessions!
I love you Brent
Just listen to the tone of that guitar.... Perfect
I got to play with him over New Year's last year, he's an absolute legend. Really great guy too, taught me some Stevie Ray Vaughan licks. Hope you're doing well Brent!
This whole video was a joy to watch... what a supremely talented guitarist. I'm only just learning about Brent and man oh man, he is incredible. The dude can play anything.
The Fender Guitar is the Best for Country Music🥰
Just WOW! Incredible player.
Wow, the beautiful stuff he was playing at the end, could listen to that all day...
One of the best for sure.
Amazing
I don't listen to country but good Lord can those guys pick!!!
Just put mine on the bench, Joe Glaser is a Genius. The optional String bender is so easy to switch from B to G. Just move the double saddle over one slot, move the D saddle to the B. Wow. Freekin' SMART!
Top notch. 3 of the best
Electric guitars are incredibly N. I. C. E. ..this is a great sound and everyone is great..GREAT is the WORD !.
what a humble player, i love his ethics
Not a fan of the particular type of music he's known for, nor am I a Telecaster fan. Don't know who this guy is, and couldn't care less.... But this sucker is the most tonally versatile Fender that has ever existed, and I absolutely must own one.
never heard of this guy but he’s so fucking amazing! need more of his guitar playing!
You may not of heard of him , but I can guarantee you have heard him . Whether a country music fan or not , he has been on darn near everything all through the 90s.
Where you been bro?
Brian Wood bro i don’t really listen to country but this really opened my eyes to it
Pretty damn good isn't he?!?! I'm same as you man. I've seen his name around for a while. Not familiar with his work. Damn!!!! He apparently knows a chord or two.🤣🤣
Almost all of Allen Jackson song are Brent playing back in the 90s and so.e Brooks and Dunn stuff
This guy is insane. Love it.
I think Brent and Steve Lukather should record together!
I think Brent Mason and Greg Koch should record together!
So glad a run into this vid of one of my favorite players, just awesome.
Lovely guitar. Monster player. Superb band.
Fantastic all round guitarist.
One of my favorite players ever!
Greatest session player ever....👍
