Originally there wasn't supposed to be vector 2 at all. First game was developed with social media in mind, mobile platforms were just an additional side projects just in case if everything else fails, it was during that time when Facebook games were a thing, main priority was to target that along with russian facebook clone VK, that had a strong footing with typical grindy p2w games at that time. In original game there are three levels, but they had much more ambitious plans for the future, internally in game files the level ID's are marked all the way up to level 9, where 10-1 is a tutorial version of 1-1 (yes, tutorial 1-1 and actual 1-1 are the two different levels). Also some time after technopark was released they made a poll in VK about what people want to see in next level, there were three options: high-speed subway, chemical plant and the third one that I forgot :( It was before they added 3-11, meaning the canonical end of a game wasn't implemented yet. They also planned to add an infinite run mode as well as pvp, but it seems like they discarded those very quickly as the in-game teasers for those were removed almost immediately after they put them. At least we got lots of bonus levels and chase mode, so it's not all that bad. As for why they decided to go for a sequel there's an interview with CEO of Nekki from when vector 2 launched explaining that they had to pull a plug on vector 1 due to how social media gaming was almost dead by that point and shadow fight 2 turned out to be a much more greater success than they thought and they actually made their choice much earlier than what you said in the video. Originally though, they wanted to make some soft of a add-on or a spinoff called Vector Labs, but after they put some work into that, they decided to rename a project and call it a sequel while it never really was supposed to be one.
Holy heck, that explains so much. Thank you for all this info I'll be sure to credit you in my next video about Floor 35, and if possible do you happen to have links to the interview or page for the voting stuff? I checked out Nekki's VK account, but I can't go farther without signing in and I'm not Russian. I'll try some way to find them, but if you happen to have them available it'll be a huge help. Thanks again you're awesome

The only thing vector 2 did 100% better than the original, was the soundtrack because even when 1 music was catchy, it's just tiring hearing the same track over and over again.
The music is actually one of the things I appreciate the most about the Vector remaster as it has a different track for each area and each area on hard mode
the idea that all the stages in the first game were just experiments to create the best runner/soldier was so cool, and how the second game brought this in the notes. Also want to say that the game can also be played through third party websites,
If we integrate it into the Nekki universe, you could say that this is why the heralds don’t give their secrets to the dynasty or legion Especially shadow
Vector wasnt mocap but it was animated using very early version of Cascadeur, an animation software that allows you to simulate physics to get to the keyframed poses realistically.
Mocap cam mimic the weight of movement but it doesn't let you apply it on different contexts. I always remember vector for the way you can make the same jumps from different distances and the animations would adapt to that scenario. Blew my mind as a kid
I despise the gameplay loop of Vector 2 so much, grindy as hell, until you've unlocked all the pieces of equipment and upgrades to survive traps X times per run you're forced to these stupid moments of "Oh there is a mine, AND a laser combo at the same time! Gosh, should I lose one use of my boots and take on the mine, or the laser?" until you run out and when the next one of these doubles shows up you're just dead, it locks progression behind luck of not facing a double instead of you failing own your own, such a weird implementation and it feels so bad and artificial, like "Sorry mate, you're too good at this, you gotta die on this floor, comeback with better gear lmao".
Dang, I'm kinda glad I never got to play it because that sounds annoying as heck, forcing you to upgrade your armor. That's kind of like Shadow Fight 2, but at least you can still fight without upgrades for a while.
@@Nekkodude With the recent updates that added dungeons and seasonal bosses, Shadow Fight 2's grinding has never felt more forgiving. I actually managed to beat the whole game, though I am stuck on the last miniboss on hard mode, which is considered borderline impossible, even in the early days. The co-op dungeons are quite fun with each boss having unique characteristics that can either make them difficult or make them exploitable. The rewards come naturally if you perform well. The one thing I've learnt in my playthrough is to be smart with the weapons you buy(if you want to remain f2p). Know what each weapon type does and what unqiue attacks they have, so that you can comfortably fight against weapons that you understand.
Jesus I hated that stupid crap, nothing more annoying than coming up to an obstacle you literally could not get past if you don’t have a stupid piece of armor, so you had to die and watch a dumb ad or something to play again
I played Vector 2 in its release and as the stages go it got harder and harder, but what bothered me is the fact it didn't have a conclusion to all the escaping parkour, we just finish a random stage and suddenly it's over. It isn't like the first Vector, where he is captured after everything, in Vector 2 there is no ending, no satisfaction or lore, it's just an infinite mazed prision full of lasers that never ends, just like a nightmare. The publishers abandoned the game and then suddenly removed of Play Store. That's when the first game got uploaded with many more content to have a new life, it's almost the same case as Minecraft 2.
It's sad to realize that the game is no longer supported. But the developers had so many plans for it. There were rumors that the location The Lab from Vector 2 will return to Vector Remastered
The lore implications of this game goes deep, and it's crazy! Shame that they never expanded on Vector, the story, or world building much. I would've loved a campaign of some type!
I reached floor 1000+when it came out thinking there would be some secrets/progression, but it was just an endless runner. Felt more of a money grab with the different move rarities. If you plan ahead you can essentially keep stacking armor and keys to be unbeatable. Decided to end it by stacking the currency multiplier when taking damage and burn thru 500+ charges which gave me unlimited currency.
Nice, but yeah it was originally suppose to have more chapters at Floor 35, but they probably gave up at that point and just made randomly generated floors.
@@Nekkodude Yeah it was really repetitive and the deeper levels had really dark backgrounds so it was hard to see anything. I had more fun trying move combinations that cause stumble/ fail animations since I was unkillable for the majority of my play through.
I love Vector 2 so much that it's still in my phone for 3 years Vector 2 didnt deserve this 😭 Also in Vector 1 remastered , Nekki try to connect with Tensor you can see it in the background (the A.I in their new game calls Spine) Look like the story will be expand i guess
I actually liked vector 2 at first but then I hit a wall and couldn’t get past a level because my armor was to damaged and I didn’t have anything to help so I gave up. Really a shame as well I would love to have a story of the game
The thing i hated about Vector 2 was the armour, and that you would play from the start if your Vector died if i remember correctly, that was very annoying and yes i know Vector 1 ended with Vector finding out that he has been cloned but still, i never really liked the clone idea
to be fair the clone thing is pretty obvious from the very beginning, a bunch of people looking exactly the same with a thing over their head that monitores their status and sends an alarm if taken off, oh no is actually an starbucks sorry
I remember playing Vector 2 a lot, trying to get to the end, not realising it never had one to begin with. But I thought of returning to it back in 2022 and completed the game (with the entire series up on my yt channel, btw). Safe to say, it's far from perfect, but I absolutely love the artstyle it has, and as you mentioned the music, it's a must-have album for me, the music alone is worth it. Vector 2 is a chore, yes, but I felt that once you get the hang of it, it feels a lot like the daily levels in Vector's remastered version. Then there's the Vectorier community built around the PC version of Vector that is essentially a modloader for it. Those guys even made a Vector 2 clone that almost felt like the original game. Then there's a lot of fanart, including that of my friend, Kerial, who is also a fan of the Vector series just like you and me. Both of us even collabed for a while on a small comic that's set in Vector's background, and we aim to tell what happens next through the power of fiction. So even though Vector 2 may have gotten a lot less traction in its time, it has built such a large community around, even within the Shadow Fight community, that it's almost synonymous with Vector and Shadow Fight. And that's why I think that if they were to recreate Vector 2 properly after doing a proper remaster of the original, people would actually try playing it as well. The grindfest Vector 2 gave really feels like nothing as compared to what you have to do to progress in Shadow Fight 2, 3 and Arena as well. People love the grindfests as long as it's rewarding and grabs people's attention. But I definitely agree on this when comparing both Vector and its remastered version.
Well said, I'm glad to see the Vector community is still thriving, and I think that's pretty cool that you and a friend collabed on a comic. Vector deserve more media stuff, like a movie/animation about Vector would've been awesome. It's also the first time I've heard of Vectorier, but it goes to show how much Vector still means to players even after Nekki shutdown 2 and remastered 1. Who knows maybe Nekki will take notice and create an amazing Vector 2 Remaster. (And I also agree, the Shadow Fight series was a pain in the butt to play without premium)
Nekki made some absolutely beautiful games being Vector and Shadow fight 2, they are simple and minimal with art style. The plots are also very interesting especially Shadow fight 2. Then Nekki went all micro transaction hungry and gave us flashy and overdone games being Shadow fight 3 and Vector 2..Nekki left their minimalistic format that connected with us and went for over the top power ranger looking games 😢
Man, i remember i played Vector as a kid, and it was awesome. When i saw Vector 2 was coming out, i was pretty stoked about it. when i played Vector 2, it was good, but it was pretty difficult imo and i eventually gave up on it.
Vector2 was a game done right besides the floor structure but then Nekki never finished the story because the story was good about how the subject was trying escape to the lab and finally the ost was amazing it just lacks a finishing story
From what I think the story in Vector was that they saw how easy one guy can escape and decided to use the Vector guy as a test subject to make the security much faster and efficient which is why we keep respawning, basicaly testing the limits of humans to see how far a human can go if all stars align because lets be honest, some people are much better at parkour than other
That's actually a really good theory, I always wondered what the heck they were testing by making obstacles, but using the greatest parkour runner data to create even harder obstacles and clones for security makes a lot of sense.
@@Nekkodude oh yeah sorry about it. Better example would be Agent 47 from Hitman since the cloning stuff ig. Like I think the lore ended with him finding out his memories have been altered and all the cloned agent share basic memories so even he doesn't know how many time he tired to escaped and fought back.
I still remember playing vector 2 and being super excited. And the overcomplicated nature of the 2nd game killed the vibe for me. I vaguely remember having to plan ahead for obstacles that I could not avoid and it just killed it for me. Trial and error is one thing. Another is being punished for something unavoidable. Im glad to see the first vector getting the love it deserves. But vector 2 was such a far cry from what it wanted to do in the end
I AM SO HAPPY IM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO LOVED VECTOR 😭 I bet I spent the whole of middle school playing the hell out of vector I almost forgot there was a 2nd game cause I just remember the first so much, I had to see footage of 2 to remind myself that I played it
Wait wat? You sure abt it though? Cuz if i remember well the cloning is still illegal but the Big Brother company is using the cloning device for military purposes and hiding it to the world.
One thing you must know, if you played the remastered 2024 version aka free version of vector, and beat the game, You may have seen that there are more levels coming soon, I'm not sure if they will make more soon, but it's there.
I remember the grind if vector 2. Also the obstacles didn't feel as natural as in the 1st game. The obstacles here are abrupt, and yeah they blended together with bg and didn't pop off like in og game.
Yeah, you can't go into any mobile game now without there being a bajillion ads if you don't buy premium, this is why mobile gaming still has a bad rep to most people and it sucks because there's genuinely a lot of gems just buried underneath all the cash grabs.
@Nekkodude one of my favorites was the dead space mobile game, just a full story where you play as a different engineer which happens before dead space.
I’ve got all three stars on the original Vector before the remaster but as for two yeah the grind has me stop playing as well I was just like “Yeah I ain’t paying to progress this” and just uninstalled it first one though oh man PEAK
I frfr forgot this game existed thank you for reminding of how fun games used to be “back in the day” especially since the new gen consoles came out games haven’t been the same as they used to be 😭💯🌚
i remember going to level 50 and above. i loved the premise of the game (im a big sci fi kinda guy), but what killed the experience was it just became a roguelite runner with less of the skill checks and more of 'do you have this specific upgrade with you/ do you have enough armor?' checks. At times in vector 2 you can choose alternate routes, where you either use a keycard to go using a safer area (safe IF your armor is good enough cuz on higher levels both are a trap) or a more trap filled area. It also becomes a game of which armor do i wanna sacrifice. The armor gimmick works sometimes but in later levels its just near impossible sometimes. I only reached level 50 and above because i had this one upgrade which let you teleport from one location to another. Sometimes teleporting you to the end. The layout of the maps was also very predictable until the 2nd chapter. by the time you reach that chapter you are so used to memorizing the old ones that the new ones hit like a truck. also each run starts with some predefined gear, so starting with level 1 gear to level 25 or above seems ludicrous to me (still reached like level 27 but thanks to teleport). The lore of the game is something which was very cool to me at the time and still would be if they revisit it someday. Overall as a child i would rate it an 8/10 but now imma put it down to 6/10. ALSO MICROTRANSACTIONS AND ENERGY SYSTEM on a running game goddamn since i did boast about level 50+ i might as well say i got all the collectibles and lore.
Hey congrats on making to over Floor 50, I kinda wanna try it and see how far I can get but based on what people said and your experience it's probably best I don't unless I use an emulator and get unlimited gems to bypass the energy system. I agree that without actual skills from regular rogulikes it feels lacking, especially since Vector 2 is cool as a concept. Also nice on getting all the collectables that's literally what I do for a lot of games. If there's something missing it always bugs me and end up replaying stages to find it.
oh crap- I didn't know it got deleted. Despite my dislike for the game, I still sunk hours into it. I've still got the premium version on my phone but yeah it no longer runs which is sad :(
I remember when this game released. I was still in highschool back then and the only smartphone I had was a Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo and for very obvious reasons it wouldn't work at all. Later on I got a Samsung Galaxy Tab and it was almost fast enough. The memories.
since i played Vector 2 i can provide some insights to the game. for a start you're no longer being chased so there's much less tension with fewer penalties for messing up, especially if you make it to the late game stages. the only threats throughout the levels are the traps such as bombs, lasers, flamethrowers and drones. each of these has an armor type that counters the damage. once that armor piece runs out of health that trap will kill you. this can be especially frustrating since the levels and traps are randomly generated. so you'll more often than not, run across a crossroad that'll guarantee you'll run into a trap. there are even some split paths but the safer route can only be opened if you found a key for it, or you have the armor piece that allows you to bypass these blocked paths with a limited amount of uses. and since all of your armors can be upgraded the game becomes a tedious grind. speaking as someone who made it to the last stage, these levels become in exercise in frustration and patience since you need to be lucky enough to get a stage where you can avoid the most amount of obstacles. and the story doesn't even get a conclusion here either.
I absolutely loved the story telling in the second game. It was an additional world building for the people who cared enough to read it. The music was great. The swarm gave a reason to running where as in the first area there was none. I just wish the game was more polished and actually finished
Dang, its kinda sad seeing vector 2, like the game actually had a lot of potential. It all seemed pretty interesting. i hope someday they will re make it
4:01 S… Sensei..? Is that you? It's always nice to watch a video about a (somewhat) obscure game people don't seem to talk about anymore, and I'd like to offer my own experiences as someone who did play Vector 2. I actually like Vector 2. I remembered playing the original game and thinking it was cool, but ironically I thought that game was grindy so I gave up on it pretty early. When I saw Vector 2 released, I decided to try it out. To be honest, I think I remember when I was playing the free version of the game, I was a little frustrated by the grind, which reminded me of the first game and never having enough coins to buy tricks. But I needed offline games to play since I was travelling a lot, so I caved in and ended up paying for the premium version. I ended up buying it pretty early on, so my experience is different than someone who didn't pay. Allow me to blow your mind, and offer you a different perspective. While the original Vector is a pretty linear experience, Vector 2 is actually a roguelite. Maybe this is why some people were turned off by the game and think it's grindy, but the roguelite elements are why I like the game. But I can understand why people did not like it, since it's basically a different genre of game. If you think about it: The items and upgrades you receive after beating each level are random. The traps are random as well. And to progress in Vector 2, you eventually unlock different gear/items, and additional upgrades for those items as well - A sort of meta-progression that many rougelites have nowadays. Like any good roguelike should, the game rewards the player for being knowledgeable about it. A lot of the traps later on will force you to take damage and force you to make a choice. The more you know about general layouts you will be better able to mitigate/spread the damage between your different equipment, as different traps do different damage to different parts. For example, lasers are commonly involved in "make your choice" type layouts. They deal damage to chest equipment, and your chest armor will always start with the most HP. Additionally, lasers are pretty easy to avoid outside these traps. And so, a player who knows this stuff will 9 times out of 10 choose to tank the laser damage. There's also stuff like purposely not taking the smoothest animation all the time, such a laser at the end of table. If you vault over the table smoothly, you will take damage from the laser. But if you choose to jump on top of the table manually, you can then jump off the table and over the laser. With the addition of challenges, you might also want to approach obstacles in different ways, since the challenge you complete could give you the extra points you need to unlock the next gear resupply. The game also has some nice progression, such as with the red ultimate upgrades you unlock. Of course, the experience is probably different in the F2P version of the game, I don't know if these upgrades are unlocked as easily... But of course! Every roguelite has its awesome OP items/upgrades that change how you play the game, and in Vector 2 they are the quantum dash (teleport) and EMP. This loops back to the knowledge part, as these items run on a cooldown timer. So it might be more beneficial for the player to purposely slow down, and get just a few more seconds to recharge these and dodge the next "make your choice" layout. However, the game will eventually counter this with the swarm, which will damage you if you're too slow. That's just one example of it, but this gives the game a sort of constant arms race feel, where the game keeps introducing new traps and layouts over time, while the player too will unlock new gear and upgrades to counter it - along with the knowledge to work around the traps too. Okay. That's that. I've watched your Sumotori dreams video before, and now this video seems cool too, so I've decided to share my thoughts. To be honest, I haven't actually gone to floor 35, so I didn't know the game was unfinished. But it makes me a little sad now that I know about that. I don't know if I did a good enough job summing up how I feel about this game. Maybe I could've made it more concise or maybe I've forgotten something else I wanted to mention, but I've spent too long on this comment to scrap it. I hope you don't mind essays in your comments section, and please keep up the cool videos.
Fellow Sensei I see. Vector 2 being a roguelike makes so much sense now, dang. I also really like how you explained your experience with the game both good and bad. I guess Nekki were trying to experiment with the sequel since one flaw Vector 1 had that I didn't mention in both videos is that there was little replayability. At first the story and mystery was good, but after you finish it, there's literally nothing else to do other than maybe 3 star all the levels or try out the Hunter Mode. I also glad that you liked my Sumotori Video despite it being the one that had a few errors since I didn't research fully. As for Floor 35, you're in luck because the next video will be about just that since there's a whole rabbit hole surrounding it. Thanks again for watching my videos!
What's even more sad is that Vector 2 doesn't have an ending. I reached the ending many times and I still don't get it. You just type on a cyper-computer then you start running in endless mode that I reached level 200 or 300 years ago expecting something; alas, there was nothing.
I remember installing Vector 2 right after it was released. Boy I was hype at that time. But then the more I play it, the grindier it gets all thanks to ingame monetization and randomised item each time we complete each floor. After that, I'm uninstall the game. Such a shame this game had awesome soundtrack. Also, love you use 'Midnight Trip' music from Blue Archive during outro.
Same, that trailer really sold me, but I never got to play it because it took up too much space, and heyo fellow Sensei from Schale. I love Midnight Trip because it matches my outro and it's the theme of one of my favorite Blue Archive students.
Man, I actually wish they did an actual roguelike parkour game instead of Vector 2. I actually don't know how that would work, but it would have been actually revolutionary and new if they pulled that off. Or they could have gone a much different way, like a level editor feature. I know Nekki isn't the kind of company to develop something that a community comes together for, they're mostly about singleplayer games, but it would also have been a new thing.
I played the heck outta Vector 2. It actually WAS good, but punishing at times, because for not having blue keycards/hack modification you were meant to take the damage on any of your guard pieces you get by playing well. And those traps correspond to the stuff you wear, i.e. the boots have damage absorption for the mines, armguards for the electricity fields, breastplate for the lasers etc. So you had a choice to either take off a chatge from the armor or end the run prematurely. And if your run was hella succesful, you get better armor, charges for them, credits, and the new addition, "better modifiers", which basically give credits and points for doing some specific actions, like spending a key or taking a damage, etc. It would take out the grind, as because i still vividly remember how i accidentally broke the game by breaking the highscore. The game WAS good, but could've been better if it wasn't so punishing. BUT THAT FREAKING SWARM THO.
I remember playing vector back in the day and me and all my friends in school absolutely loved it and had a great time with it the best part was the whole fluidity of the movements also it kinda overlapped the start of a parkour fever in my country which boosted it even more and the music still sends chills down my spine it was so good
I personally didnt like Vector 2 because there is no tension and a feeling of story progression in it. It just feel like we are running forever in however big that facility is with nothing but traps . Unlike vector 2 , even without audio logs or anything complicated, vector one had a smooth progression and story.
Just looked it up and it looks pretty nice, I'll add it to my video list so if I do make a video on it hopefully it'll get some people to remember or at least know about the game.
the company that developed vector Nekki has also launched their own AI animation software called cascadeur, vector, shadow fight series its all them. thats why those animations are so realistic coz they are physics based.
@@Nekkodude you can take a look at cascadeur. i know it coz i once used it. its a great tool and automatically solves many of your animation problems through physics. so yeah they can definitely capitalize on it. in fact its the easiest 3d character animation tool in the market. they even state in the website you referenced.
I remember this game and I think that they had shut down the servers for it way before it was removed. It stayed in a state where the game was locked in a loading screen as soon as you tried to launch it. I thought it was a compatibility issue, as the phone I had was a very old HTC phone. Though when I got a better phone it didn't work on there either, though vector 1 worked flawlessly for the most part.
I tried vector when I was like 7 and loved it, when the 2nd one came out my brain couldn’t understand what to do in it. Btw the only thing I love about vector 2 is the fail/hurt animations like when u run into a wall. I think it’s cooler than just dying like in the first one.
Nah man screw the Vector remaster. They monetized the hell out of it and turned it into a grind because they knew they weren’t gonna be able to do that with Vector 2. Only saving Grace is that you can buy the original game for like a dollar or something.
Did they really make it that bad? I'm kinda sad to hear that, because it sounds like they were basically milking the Vector 1 nostalgia to make a quick buck, I haven't tried it yet but I hope it's not that bad.
That's Yakuza Like a Dragon, the 7th in the series, I never got into the series since I don't have a console apart from a Switch, but it's a really good game.
I got stuck at the beginning of the game. I can't pass the Advanced protocol since you have to survive a lot of levels and I don't have enough armour to get there, since a lot of obstacles are forced on you and you lose armour, which completely made me rage quick at some point and made me always restart ar floor 8. Either ways, agree that the soundtrack is really good and your video overall. Nice one
They really should've made it so that the difficulty gradually increases and put all the unavoidable obstacles later so that way at least you'll have enough armor for it. Also thanks I'm glad you enjoyed my video!
Man that would be nice, but I'm still grateful for all the subscribers I have now just like you, you guys are what motivate me to keep making these videos and hopefully one day it'll be my full time job.

2- a bunch of brand new tricks

Vector wasnt mocap but it was animated using very early version of Cascadeur, an animation software that allows you to simulate physics to get to the keyframed poses realistically.
well they did a really good job cuz you can almost always tell when an animation was hand made or mocapped

Someone's bad at the game
Real shit. Playing it for a few days feeling like I got punished from lack of skill
Yeah it's a let down because Vector 2 had a lot of potential with all the journal entries having really cool and interesting lore drops.
It's sad to realize that the game is no longer supported. But the developers had so many plans for it. There were rumors that the location The Lab from Vector 2 will return to Vector Remastered
vector had one of the most fire openings even years later it still holds up
It's still peak
The lore implications of this game goes deep, and it's crazy! Shame that they never expanded on Vector, the story, or world building much. I would've loved a campaign of some type!
Ikr? I'm hoping that since Vector 1 was remaster Nekki could do the same for Vector 2, but with better gameplay and more lore.
Remember playing vector 2, hard game really.
Lack of hunter and obstacles appearing out of nowhere were a dealbreaker for me
I reached floor 1000+when it came out thinking there would be some secrets/progression, but it was just an endless runner.

9:41 Bro is a throat goat😮
Vector2 was a game done right besides the floor structure but then Nekki never finished the story because the story was good about how the subject was trying escape to the lab and finally the ost was amazing it just lacks a finishing story
From what I think the story in Vector was that they saw how easy one guy can escape and decided to use the Vector guy as a test subject to make the security much faster and efficient which is why we keep respawning, basicaly testing the limits of humans to see how far a human can go if all stars align because lets be honest, some people are much better at parkour than other
That's actually a really good theory, I always wondered what the heck they were testing by making obstacles, but using the greatest parkour runner data to create even harder obstacles and clones for security makes a lot of sense.
idk man
what Re Zero and Magic Index made me realize, dying and respawning can be traumatizing.
Although I haven't seen Magic Index yet I will say poor Subaru.

One thing you must know, if you played the remastered 2024 version aka free version of vector, and beat the game, You may have seen that there are more levels coming soon, I'm not sure if they will make more soon, but it's there.

ALSO MICROTRANSACTIONS AND ENERGY SYSTEM on a running game goddamn
since i did boast about level 50+ i might as well say i got all the collectibles and lore.
I was able to run for 100th+ sector in one go and then im tired and just sleep

oh crap- I didn't know it got deleted.
Vector was my first mobile game I downloaded, I remember hoping over the couch like in the trailer just to ask my mom.

Thanks again for watching my videos!
your so goated for making this video. I always tried to understand the story but when vector 2 came out i didn’t get the story
Completely forgot about this it was fire.
Nekki got really greedy.
What's even more sad is that Vector 2 doesn't have an ending. I reached the ending many times and I still don't get it. You just type on a cyper-computer then you start running in endless mode that I reached level 200 or 300 years ago expecting something; alas, there was nothing.

Actually Vector 2 was planned to have a level editor, but it was cut since they still had to work on the Shadow Fight games.

Nekki's main focus is now on Spine
Spine is happening in the same world as Vector's
nekki tries so hard to innovate their old games to look more like those 3d mobile game ads you see
I remember playing vector back in the day and me and all my friends in school absolutely loved it and had a great time with it the best part was the whole fluidity of the movements also it kinda overlapped the start of a parkour fever in my country which boosted it even more and the music still sends chills down my spine it was so good
Yeah it was peak parkour gaming.
I personally didnt like Vector 2 because there is no tension and a feeling of story progression in it. It just feel like we are running forever in however big that facility is with nothing but traps . Unlike vector 2 , even without audio logs or anything complicated, vector one had a smooth progression and story.
Exactly that's basically the big difference between the two
It's so sad that no one remembers Runner 626
Just looked it up and it looks pretty nice, I'll add it to my video list so if I do make a video on it hopefully it'll get some people to remember or at least know about the game.
@Nekkodude that would be so awesome!
the company that developed vector Nekki has also launched their own AI animation software called cascadeur, vector, shadow fight series its all them. thats why those animations are so realistic coz they are physics based.
Oh that's pretty cool I never knew that, it's kinda poetic since Vector and now Spine have an emphasis on AI
Really? Dang that's kinda sad to hear, Vector 2 already had a lot against it and now it was basically unplayable before it got deleted, poor Vector 2.
I tried vector when I was like 7 and loved it, when the 2nd one came out my brain couldn’t understand what to do in it.
Btw the only thing I love about vector 2 is the fail/hurt animations like when u run into a wall. I think it’s cooler than just dying like in the first one.
I love little details like that, if only Vector 2 just added more animations and maps it could've been better.

Vector 2 should have been a linear game with level and chapter system with a proper ending just like vector 1, not a goddamn rougelike
Yep, if they wanted a roguelike it could've been a spinoff instead of the sequel.
@Nekkodude we all wanted vector 2, just not THIS vector 2
Nah man screw the Vector remaster. They monetized the hell out of it and turned it into a grind because they knew they weren’t gonna be able to do that with Vector 2. Only saving Grace is that you can buy the original game for like a dollar or something.
Did they really make it that bad? I'm kinda sad to hear that, because it sounds like they were basically milking the Vector 1 nostalgia to make a quick buck, I haven't tried it yet but I hope it's not that bad.
Need backup guys ❤
Backup arrived 🎉
Roger that 😂
Sup homie ❤
You ask for backup and backup arrived ❤
You guys are awesome, thanks for the support 🙏
Thanks for reminding me of Vector.
It was a great game.
what game is shown at 9:42?
That's Yakuza Like a Dragon, the 7th in the series, I never got into the series since I don't have a console apart from a Switch, but it's a really good game.
Can't wait for spine
Same it looks really good
I never even heard therr was a sequel
I got stuck at the beginning of the game. I can't pass the Advanced protocol since you have to survive a lot of levels and I don't have enough armour to get there, since a lot of obstacles are forced on you and you lose armour, which completely made me rage quick at some point and made me always restart ar floor 8.
Either ways, agree that the soundtrack is really good and your video overall. Nice one
They really should've made it so that the difficulty gradually increases and put all the unavoidable obstacles later so that way at least you'll have enough armor for it. Also thanks I'm glad you enjoyed my video!
Your channel should have at least 40,000 followers.
Man that would be nice, but I'm still grateful for all the subscribers I have now just like you, you guys are what motivate me to keep making these videos and hopefully one day it'll be my full time job.
